Yeah I think I am just going to skip class and go. I was going to skip tomorrow night to head down to Myrtle Beach early for a Bachelor Party weekend but now we have a test so I can't. I won't feel as bad since it I'm not skipping two weeks in a row.

The column Saunders wrote praised us for hiring Lowe, and praised UNC for hiring Davis. But he also made a point of saying that hiring Davis didn't really count since nobody could tell he was 1/16th Cherokee, using different words.

^^Naw. He wrote an article about us not interviewing Whittenburg, but that Phil Ford was rumored to be in consideration.

He related that to a story from the 60's of a black dude being rumored to be in consideration for a VP spot for the GOP in the election. The black dude was only rumored to make the GOP look inclusive, but said that he never really had a chance.

But the point he made is that we wouldn't actually hire Phil Ford because he's from UNC, and his name was put out there to make the rest of the candidates look better.

I'm nervous as hell too. I think it's because we're putting all our faith in this year's football team. I think Nate's injury helped tone that down a little bit, but still ... that's a lot of pressure to put on a team. If they come out and lose, or God-forbid get blown out, then it's going to sting.
