When are you gonna start reloading for those glocks? You can get plated lead bullets, which feed fine in polygonal barrels, or just use an after market barrel and shoot the cheap stuff.

Anybody looking for some 7.62x54r Czech stuff? I bought a full case of 800 and might be able to part with some of it if somebody needs it bad or if somebody has a 10/22 stock on the cheap that I could trade a few rounds for.It is 7.62x54R 147grn FMJ Light Ball from around '86
4/28/2009 11:01:44 PM

The big walmart on New berne ave is out of 9mm, 40, and 45 as of 4 pm today. They did have 500 9mm, 500 40, 250 45, and a box of 100 HP 9mm for $23. If anyone needs 50-100 rounds of 9mm or 40, and cannot find any at the gun show, let me know, I can let a little bit go.
4/30/2009 9:49:21 PM
^ so you're saying you just bought out all the ammo again
4/30/2009 11:33:17 PM
i saw kylekatern at pdhsc a couple of months ago with a huge grin on his face after cleaning out thousands of rounds all afternoon. man do any of you people ever believe in stockpiling your ammo for the nuclear/zombie/etc disaster?
5/1/2009 12:20:52 AM
well, I went and bought just over 1000 rounds, then went to the range for 2.5 hours and shot up 500 rounds. I have reloading stuff for another 2000 rounds, more if I cast some bullets, and other than oddballs stuff like 32 or 357 sig, i keep 1500 rounds on hand with every gun, though the 9mm ammo stays part here and the rest stashed at the family compound.
5/1/2009 5:42:08 PM
damn. i wish i had a family compound.
5/1/2009 5:51:51 PM
anyone going to the gun show at the fairgrounds? i'd appreciate it if you'd pick up a bunch of .45 acp for me.
5/2/2009 11:16:14 AM
For Sale $75.009mm 115gr Remington UMC 250 rounds (mega pack)
5/3/2009 8:42:18 PM
^You are about $30 over priced.
5/3/2009 9:13:35 PM
I've got some Georgia Arms .45 ACP...it's 185 Gold Dot +P (new, not reloads).Like I mentioned earlier, I sent my cousin to the gun show to pick up as much .45 as he could get with $200...the plain FMJ there was actually more expensive than this good stuff. If anyone wants to trade some quantity for quality, I'll swap you some good ammo for a somewhat greater quantity of range ammo.[Edited on May 3, 2009 at 11:38 PM. Reason : ]
5/3/2009 11:37:00 PM
^ how many rounds did you end up with? and what type swap are you looking for? I only have the 1 45, and have several buddies who have nothing in the way of carry ammo for their 45's
5/4/2009 2:20:01 AM
I'll trade some of my +P Gold Dots for plain FMJ if anyone has a bunch of range ammo and needs some carry ammo. I'd swap up to 250-300 rounds. I'd have to think about the exchange rate, and I guess it would depend on what they were swapping with me.
5/4/2009 6:37:47 AM
5/4/2009 11:02:02 AM
looking for 7.62 x 39whatcha got?
5/4/2009 11:54:29 AM
^^For that price....nobody gives a shitNot even a third post on the same page will help you.
5/4/2009 3:35:28 PM
^^^^I have a WWB 100 round brick I would be willing to trade your way. ^^^You are asking $75, for 250 rounds. So $0.30 per SHOT. Blazer brass 9mm costs, with tax, $0.19 a shot. I paid $0.24 a round for HOLLOW POINT ammo to load up my calico with. I can reload 9mm for $0.13 a shot, and that is with plated bullets, if I use hard cast, buying them prelubes, its under $0.10 a round to reload it. Why would we pay you such a markup, when doing so would mean you would just go buy the ammo we want at walmart, then resell it to us, instead of us just hitting walmart every Thursday ourselves to score ammo.
5/4/2009 5:19:06 PM
^ I'm having a hard time finding a price comparison between Gold Dots and WWB, as the former usually comes in little boxes of 20 as opposed to bricks of 100. That makes for something around a 3:1 exchange rate, but that's kind of ridiculous and not really apples to apples. How does 2:1 sound (i.e., 50 Gold Dots for 100 WWB)?
5/4/2009 7:48:21 PM
works for me
5/4/2009 8:20:32 PM
I live in New Bern, but I'll be in the triangle area this weekend. Definitely around Fuquay at my mom's house (being mother's day and all, I think that one's a safe bet)...Durham and Raleigh proper are possibilities.I'll swap up to another couple hundred rounds in the future if you want...that'll still leave me with more hollow points than I should ever need.
5/4/2009 8:54:37 PM
I will let the others on here get in on the action, I just need enough to fill a gun or 2 and stash 10 or so extra.
5/4/2009 8:55:51 PM
bump.
5/6/2009 8:25:13 PM
Walmart at brier creek has LOTS of 100 round val pack 40 SW, WWB, and some blazer brass 9mm and 40 SW. The one on glenwood has 40 SW blazer brass. The brier creek one has signs up, and is doing a 6 items of rifle or handgun ammo per day per person limit.
5/9/2009 1:41:24 PM
