well, we don't really need hawaii in the US anyhow.they're one of those anti-american states
11/1/2008 7:15:54 PM
i like it. let's get a couple people together to go walk into a room and walk out and say "yep, it's genuine!" That'll prove everything
11/1/2008 7:23:02 PM
what would be funny is if you were joking.but you actually BELIEVE this bullshit.i swear, i don't know if you people are just plain stupid, or actually deranged, in a DSM IV sort of way do you know, that all I have for my son, is a "Certificate of Live Birth" from the State of Washington?that's it. that's all we got. it looks exactly like Obama's, except with a different state seal. we don't have anything else.so i guess by your logic, my son was also born in Kenya. or whatever country you feel like making up.
11/1/2008 9:36:58 PM
^^I am very glad you abstained from voting. You're letting someone with some sense have a free vote.
11/1/2008 10:30:00 PM
you do realize there is more to this case than the birth certificate, right? Like the very real fact that Obama had to have been an Indonesian citizen at some point in his life, right? Moreover, the mere fact that Obama has an official birth certificate does NOT mean that it was not based on falsified information in the first place. You know, something that was part of the initial lawsuit anyway. But hey, who gives a damned about the facts when it comes to the Messiah, right?
11/1/2008 11:58:26 PM
what the hell do you want? the actual doctor and nurses that were in the delivery room to come forward and say that obama passed through a birth canal, in hawaii?
11/2/2008 12:01:14 AM
well, considering that we don't even know that he was born in a hospital, I'd say that could be a start. Of course, I suppose you don't care that he is an Indonesian citizen, do you?
11/2/2008 12:03:31 AM
i don't give 2 shits that obama has lived in indonesia, and has maybe been considered a citizen of that country. maybe you do.[Edited on November 2, 2008 at 12:07 AM. Reason : ,]

One of the fun things about Obama's presidency is going to be seeing people like aaronburro blow fuses and lose their freaking minds.
11/2/2008 12:10:43 AM
wait, what? is being born in a hospital a prerequisite for being President now? Because, i'm pretty sure when the Constitution was written, most of those guys weren't born in hospitals....
11/2/2008 12:13:01 AM
^I think he was implying that Obama was born in some sort of back room of a secret evil organization... or maybe in poor, super-secret conditions in a third-world country... or maybe he's implying that Africa has no hospitals and that Obama was born there. But I don't think his point was asserting that a president must be hospital-born.
11/2/2008 12:29:18 AM
^ ummm, no, it's not. But it does help solidify the claim that Obama wasn't flown in on an airplane to the US and claimed as a US-born child, which is kind of the point here. BTW, Malagoat, you do realize that one cannot hold dual citizenship with Indonesia and another country, right? Which would mean *gasp* that Obama is NOT a natural-born US citizen. At best he could only be a naturalized citizen. But nah, fuck that damned Constitution. It's been getting in the way of our freedoms since 1776 right?
11/2/2008 12:29:43 AM
Going to any length, no matter the ridiculousness...
11/2/2008 12:35:06 AM
Ignoring the Constitution, no matter what the consequences
11/2/2008 12:40:49 AM
^You could easily put that caption on both parties.
11/2/2008 12:42:28 AM
arronburro, so, you are saying, that Obama was born in the United States but isnt a natural born citizen because he lived in Indonesia a couple years? So that immediately takes away where he was born? Your nuts....it is gonna be a fun 4 (probably 8) years for yah! arronburro will go off about school in Indonesia, how do you know they justed didnt enroll him without changing a thing? gasp....I am sure they checked each and everyone of the kids...they probably just looked at the skin color and assumed
11/2/2008 1:10:31 AM
Why should only natural-born Americans be allowed to become president, anyway?
11/2/2008 1:33:34 AM
^I think it's based on the idea that being born in America somehow ensures your loyalty to the country... or at least on the idea that being born outside the country means that you're more likely to be a traitor.
11/2/2008 1:37:40 AM
^ why isn't that a "equal but separate" status? You're a citizen, and can do everything every other citizen can do, except be president? It seems to be antithetical to other aspects of the constitution. If people really though someone wasn't fit for president, regardless of where they're born, they wouldn't elect them. Why have a rule on the books that sets non-native-born citizens to automatically be lesser Americans than native-born citizens, for the simple fact of where they were born?[Edited on November 2, 2008 at 1:45 AM. In this case, at least, seems like a technicality. If the conspiracy theories turn out to be true, it'd be an incredibility lame way to defeat Obama.

Consider running for president it one of the privileges of being born in the U.S. That way someone from China or another country with a lot of money can't come in and buy and election. But, I think it was meant for back in the day when we won our independence for England. Today the most a special interest can do is groom someone who is already a natural born citizen. Why would we want someone from another country coming here and running ours.[Edited on November 2, 2008 at 4:51 AM. Reason : /]

he absolutely could have. but he didn't. By definition, he would have surrendered his US citizenship when he became an Indonesian citizen. Thus, he would no longer be a natural born US citizen.people like ^^ don't seem to understand this concept]
11/2/2008 5:48:23 PM
Could he not have been born a US citizen, become a resident of Indonesia, and then return to American citizenship at least fourteen years prior to running for president? How does a change in citizenship, even renouncing one's former citizenship, somehow cancel out the fact that said person was born as a citizen at one time? Or is there just some illogical legal precedent to state the opposite that exists in these cases?(Also, this is all assuming that the country of Indonesia would even have bothered to check the citizenship of every black school kid that got admitted, which I doubt they would)[Edited on November 2, 2008 at 5:55 PM. HAWAII HAD ONLY BEEN A STATE FOR TWO YEARS BEFORE HE WAS BORNOMFG
11/2/2008 5:57:13 PM
the constitution never defines what a "natural-born citizen" is. The us code, however, fills in those gaps:http://www4.law.cornell.edu/uscode/html/uscode08/usc_sec_08_00001401----000-.html
11/2/2008 6:20:39 PM
^^^ well, if he renounces his citizenship, then he can become a citizen again by naturalization. Which would not be natural born, by definition.^ btw, the judge in PA did NOT rule that Obama was a natural born citizen. He ruled that the PA AG had no legal grounds to bring the case. In short, the judge didn't give a shit about the Constitution, either
11/2/2008 7:49:39 PM
he ruled that the case was a joke and cited related cases
11/2/2008 8:00:46 PM
ummm, no, he didn't. nice try. he ruled that the AG had no legal basis to bring the case.

you are correct, he would have to go through the naturalization process in order to be a citizen again. He's an illegal alien!!! OMFG!!!
11/2/2008 8:32:31 PM
11/2/2008 8:33:32 PM
