totally brilliant! only a complete 80's geek would base a show on Harry and the Hendersons. I was thinking about that movie last week when I was trying to list all the movies I watched over and over growing up
3/5/2009 10:11:46 PM
Did Liz tell the boyfriend dude to "nut up"
3/5/2009 10:12:33 PM
yeah, that was awesome
3/5/2009 10:14:56 PM

3/5/2009 11:50:12 PM

3/13/2009 5:48:11 PM
i'm pretty sure that's the worst episode of 30 rock they've made yet.they need to completely replace jenna w/ josh.
3/14/2009 5:54:40 PM
this past episode was much, much better than the one before it.
3/14/2009 6:38:24 PM
i lolled my arse off
3/14/2009 7:19:59 PM
What happened to the new boyfriend from valentine's day? Did they cut him or did they just leave him out of this episode? Jack's girl was missing too.
3/15/2009 7:34:30 PM
Liz's boyfriend is back for one more episode - Jon Hamm had a 4 episode commitment, and he's been in 3 episodes. So in the next one, they will probably write him out somehow. Jack's girlfriend went back to Puerto Rico for good. She's gone. It looks like this episode was played out of order. it sounds like it should have aired in February around St. Patrick's day, but they shifted them around. Maybe they split up the Jon Hamm episodes to try to get people to keep tuning in to see him on it again.whoops..... St Patricks day is next week. i guess it is in the right order. She'll let it slip at the wrong time that his sister is his mother and his grandmother is dead, he'll get pissed off and leave.I miss Floyd
3/15/2009 9:12:26 PM
great episode. At least, all the parts around Liz, the boyfriend and Jack. It's too bad that Jenna, and somewhat Tracy, are the weakest part of the show. They need to do more with Frank and Josh and the rest of the writers
3/19/2009 10:41:25 PM
no more don draper
3/20/2009 8:25:35 AM
after the worst episode in 3 seasons, they came through w/ some fucking hilarity.great episode all around.[Edited on March 20, 2009 at 2:22 PM. Reason : ^^ i do agree totally, frank josh and twofer are all much much funnier than jenna. she's terrible.]
3/20/2009 2:20:04 PM
3/20/2009 2:34:23 PM
Jenna is the weakest of the main cast members, but she's still far from "weak".
3/20/2009 2:39:44 PM
hey tracy this is billy dee. I like your work. it's really smoooth.
3/20/2009 2:41:39 PM
^^ have you ever laughed at anything jenna has done on that show? i'm relatively certain that i have not.
3/20/2009 2:44:25 PM
i haveME WANT FOOD
3/20/2009 3:08:51 PM
the episode with peewee herman was quite good. i'm pretty sure she had some good moments on that one. it's hard to not have good moments when you're working with that sort of material.
3/20/2009 3:09:45 PM
I laughed at black face Jenna. However, I think her character is funnier as the butt of jokes, not the source.
3/20/2009 3:38:23 PM
the original actress lined up for that part was rachel dratch
3/20/2009 6:52:22 PM
i thought i read that they cut her b/c she was ugly, but honestly jane krakowski is not at all good looking anymore.
3/20/2009 7:07:45 PM
OUTSIDE THE BUBBLE
3/20/2009 7:13:33 PM
nice - any episode with Dennis Duffy and Adam West is a winner in my book

seeing the world through kenneth's eyes!!!![Edited on March 26, 2009 at 10:15 PM. Reason : kevin?! wth am i on?! kenneth!]
3/26/2009 10:05:47 PM
just finished the requisite 2nd viewing, and decided that was easily one of the best episodes ever. Somehow they packed at least 4 different plotlines in there, without feeling rushed. Each plot was solid, and every joke was dead on. I don't think any of the jokes fell flat.
3/27/2009 11:22:33 AM
i liked seeing the world through tracy's eyes
3/27/2009 11:26:48 AM
ya i loved it
3/27/2009 12:09:27 PM
buwhahahahahah puppets. LOVE IT.
3/27/2009 1:43:25 PM
I completely lost it when the show cut from muppet Liz to normal Liz walking like a muppet. I've not laughed so hard in a long time.
3/27/2009 2:02:42 PM
yeah, that was great. Then at the end when the writer's room was watching Liz's old commercial, and they were laughing on screen for at least a minute straight, and I was laughing along with them the whole time. It's very, very difficult to keep a gag like that going for a full minute without any of it getting oldso, so many good lines...."i've hunted the world's most dangerous game: man.... **ahem** manatee. I once, uh, shot a manatee"and the deaf lady - "You're saying 'Apollo, Apollo, Apollo' - oh my god you puked! why wouldn't you warn me, i was staring at your mouth!"[Edited on March 27, 2009 at 2:30 PM. In the last episode, Liz responded "Charles what now?" in disbelief to the judge. I am completely stumped as to what the reference or precedent is for this joke. Anyone know?
4/3/2009 9:49:18 AM
don't know - for some reason, the first thing that popped into my head was Charles in Charge, the early 80's sitcom. I have no idea what that means, but that is the era that Tina Fey draws a lot of jokes from.
4/3/2009 10:14:21 AM
LOL at tricks up my sleeve
4/10/2009 1:18:54 PM
wow, Tina Fey + Steve Jobs = geeks' wet dreamhttp://www.hulu.com/watch/67267/30-rock-the-keynote#s-p1-st-i1

4/12/2009 2:20:27 PM
^^^^I immediately thought of Prince Charles
4/13/2009 2:12:47 AM
The first half of this episode was hilarious and then it just flat lined. Still pretty good though.I was just swinging my arm and she walked into me! Twice!
4/17/2009 2:35:43 AM
The Tracy line about the harassment rules being loosing based on a dinner he had with isaiah thomas had me rolling.
