Baylor fucking sucks. they just picked a great night to hit 12 three pointers
11/29/2008 2:34:11 AM
F*** erbody you gotta love Herb. They're prolly gonna lose but you can never count this mofo out. His team was just losing by like 15 w/ 3 mins left and their effort is better than anything I've seen in a while anyway.[Edited on November 29, 2008 at 2:47 AM. Reason : WTF who names their kid Tweety]
11/29/2008 2:45:42 AM
Too bad he has no gd plays to get his players open at the end of games, so they resort to shooting 3's from 8 feet beyond NBA range.
11/29/2008 2:50:16 AM
the part that sucks the most is that if they would have won last night and today versus Wake, I have no doubt in my mind that they'd have been #8 or #9 in the new poll. now, assuming they beat UTEP tonight, they'll be lucky to stay in the top-20however, expect Baylor to move into the top-20the end of that game last night was sick. i really hope some of you got a chance to see it. i'd love to read your comments
11/29/2008 8:48:20 AM
I didn't even realize how well Harden did at the end till they showed his stats. 32 points and 9 boards I remember w/ like a minute left wtf? Dude is ridiculous. Did you see them hit NBA range 3's like 3 possessions in a row? Reminded me of crazy old Evtimov.
11/29/2008 11:32:06 AM
yeah24 of his 32 came in the last 9 minutes of the game
11/29/2008 2:19:58 PM
if you haven't had the opportunity to witness James Harden, I highly recommend you dohe just dropped 40 on a UTEP team that beat St. Mary's and took Wake to the wire.ASU 88UTEP 585-1GO BAYLOR!!!!!! BEAT WAKE!!!!!!!
11/30/2008 10:29:05 PM
we [nc state] need baylor to suck.fuck off.
11/30/2008 10:52:32 PM
eh, one early season loss (to a 7-0, power conference team) won't kill Wake's RPI
11/30/2008 11:00:29 PM
i don't care about wake forest, i care about john wall.
11/30/2008 11:50:12 PM
ahhh. i wasn't sure where you were going with that
12/1/2008 12:02:50 AM
^^agreed. Fuck Baylor. They are too good right now.
12/1/2008 12:07:32 AM
they need some dudes to kill each each other
12/1/2008 12:18:42 AM
down 5 spots to 19th in both polls after losing a close game to #24 Bayloroh well
12/1/2008 5:50:55 PM
Baylor looked awful and poorly coached last night.. don't know how ASU lost to them[Edited on December 1, 2008 at 5:54 PM. Reason : .]
12/1/2008 5:52:19 PM
Harden didn't get aggressive until ASU was down by 16 (halway through the 2nd half). at which point he scored 24 or the team's next 26 points and cut it to a 4-point game with a minute to playANDBaylor hit NBA+ range threes at the worst possible times--------------------------------------------------------------to those who care: ASU has 15 more televised games (FSN, CBS-HD, ESPN-HD) including 8 in a row in Jan/Feb. so you'll have lots of opportunities to see James do his thing. he is currently #4 in the nation for both total points scored (162) and points per game (27.0)
12/1/2008 6:08:03 PM
over/under on Harden dropping 40 again?
12/4/2008 5:54:31 PM
3.5 Could you imagine what would happen if Herbie beat UNC in the tourney? Would be crazy....
12/4/2008 6:15:57 PM
haha. after 6 games, ASU is holding their opponents under 60ppg. however, they'd be extremely lucky to hold UNC under 90
12/4/2008 6:26:30 PM
81-60Harden got held to 22, Pendergraph with 19, Kuksiks with 16up to 6-1. play Nebraska in the PAC10/Big12 Challenge this Sunday.
12/4/2008 10:58:12 PM
man, i guess i'd have to pull for sendek vs. unc... but i wouldn't like it.
12/4/2008 11:53:33 PM
I have a hard time pulling for the scum devils, but against UNC I might have to...of course it's not like they'd have a chance in hell against UNC
12/5/2008 12:19:49 AM
12/5/2008 1:28:13 AM
ASU - 64Nebraska - 44record is 7-1Harden with 20
12/7/2008 4:09:46 PM
Only 20? It was just Nebraska come on.
12/7/2008 4:21:59 PM
it was good to see a balanced attack. Kuksiks had 18 and Abbott had 16getting their confidence up will pay off when conference play starts[Edited on December 7, 2008 at 4:58 PM. Reason : ^ previously undefeated Nebraska....]
12/7/2008 4:58:01 PM
the Nebraska win not only put Herb above .500 at ASU (remember the 8-22 season) AND it marked his 300th career victorycongrats! all he has to do is win about 600 more for the all-time lead
12/9/2008 6:28:15 PM
Sendek Sunshine Squad unite!GJ Herb.

haha Shipp and a tranny with a tobacco pipe. Looks like they have Mayo's old TV too.
12/11/2008 3:22:20 PM
down by 16 at the half to IUPUIhAhaha shooting 26%
12/14/2008 4:09:11 PM
yep. that's herb sendek.
12/14/2008 4:20:34 PM
only down 7 now7 minutes to playHarden only attempted 1 FG in the first half. i don't know what the hell is going on out there....________________________________________tied it up with 11.4 seconds left [Edited on December 14, 2008 at 4:58 PM. Reason : update]
12/14/2008 4:44:44 PM
WHEW! ASU won. too close thoughHarden fouled out in regulation w/ only 9 pts. Kuksiks stepped up with 198-1
12/14/2008 5:19:59 PM
so close...
12/14/2008 5:21:18 PM
even though they don't deserve it, with the losses by top-15 teams, ASU will probably move into the top-15 tomorrownext game vs. undefeated BYU at Univ. of Arizona Stadium (where the AZ Cards play football)
12/14/2008 5:23:01 PM
ahaha where are they playing
12/14/2008 11:36:01 PM
why in god's name would they play in a football stadium?
12/14/2008 11:39:33 PM
The NCAA regionals are there this year and they have to host one game before the tourney.
12/14/2008 11:42:39 PM
my guess is 2000 fansit's really sad. imagine if State had an enrollment of 52,000, we were a top-20 team sitting on an 8-1 record and we were playing a 10-0 (soon to be ranked) BYU team in a football stadium just a few miles away from campus. we'd have tens of thousands in attendance.[Edited on December 14, 2008 at 11:58 PM. Reason : 10-0]
12/14/2008 11:56:04 PM
it's heaven for herb, i'm sure.
12/15/2008 12:02:12 AM
he's gotta hate it though. he took them from the laughing stock to a legit conference title contender in 2 1/2 seasons. he's bringing in McD's AAs, building a new practice facility, going to pep rallies and football games to encourage the students to come out.....and still they only had ~1000 fans at today's gameState could play Wake Tech in a down year and 10K would show up
12/15/2008 1:18:30 AM
only if it's not in reynolds, lawl.it's what he asked for, though, is it not? i mean i suppose his ideal situation would be thousands of fans that love him and his marginal teams year in and year out, but that's a little much to ask.
12/15/2008 2:12:45 AM
12/15/2008 2:38:22 AM
16 teams make the sweet 16 every year, which is the extent of herb's accomplishments as a coach, so there's at least 16 coaches as good as him.
12/15/2008 3:39:31 AM

12/19/2008 11:33:58 AM
great first half goes to waste when BYU hits back-to-back 3's to end the half
12/20/2008 5:42:31 PM
What a finish! Good win for ASU... 2nd best game of the day.
12/20/2008 6:57:49 PM
god dammit byu.
