4/14/2009 10:06:29 PM
^ watch the rest on Huluhttp://www.hulu.com/watch/66310/fringe-inner-child
4/14/2009 10:38:53 PM
yea is it already on there? i was gonna do that tomorrow
4/14/2009 10:44:08 PM
eh, well not today's episode yet, but they usually put it up right after it airs in PST
4/14/2009 10:47:26 PM
yall need to learn to set the dvr to record the news also b/c AI will probably always run over.i have started looking for the observer guy in each episode. i saw him on the news report thing walking by behind the reporter
4/15/2009 9:22:19 AM
I just set the DVR to continue recording 15 minutes after the episode because you know AI is going to go over again next week.
4/15/2009 9:24:12 AM
the comcast DVR is a little different from TWC...ill see if i can find where to do it though
4/15/2009 10:16:37 AM
Kinda pissed they only showed the monster once - and it was pretty hokey how they magically made it back to the lab so save walter and give curtis that things blood so quickly. Definitely feeling more like Xfiles every show in how far off the main plot they get with the crazy stuff...
4/16/2009 12:26:19 AM
i was surprised that 2 gunshots killed the thing
4/16/2009 12:29:27 AM
^I thought the exact same thing
4/16/2009 6:46:20 AM
they just showed The Observer at the Yankees game haha
4/18/2009 5:31:13 PM
4/19/2009 1:30:00 PM
^yeah, and didnt walter say "incendiary rounds?" too?
4/19/2009 11:12:42 PM
Did anybody watch this episode? Revealed that obviously "Olive" has powers. Also "William" sounded really familiar to me on the tape. Probably because it was Leonard Nimoy.
4/21/2009 10:12:04 PM
yeah i saw it. i thought i remembered walter mentioning the name william before...i dunno. i was really hoping they werent stealing ideas from Medium, but it didnt go that way exactly. that picture of little olive in the corner was soooo pitiful
4/21/2009 10:53:32 PM
What bothers me is that they made the revelation last season (season finale) that Olivia had been tested on, was being "recruited", and Walter had written that book they read from. Why all of a sudden was it new information again?
4/22/2009 9:39:58 PM
^My wife said "Uh, haven't we already seen/known this."
4/22/2009 9:47:54 PM
i see the Observer more in random other fox shows than i can seem to spot him in this showwhere was he in this episode? i didn't see him in the surveillance tape of the subway, but maybe he was in the restaurant?nvm i just looked at saw him, he had a hat on crossing the street just after they first look up and you see all the people on the ledgeaaand i found a website that has a screenshot of all his appearanceshttp://fringepedia.net/index.php?title=Observer_Appearance[Edited on April 22, 2009 at 10:10 PM. 4/22/2009 9:55:52 PM
he walked by on the street when Olivia was entering in the restaurant I believe...I remember seeing him pass in front of the camera while you were watching a shot of the street
4/22/2009 9:59:08 PM
the girl on girl action was pretty cool, I like the change thats happening to walters character lately too
4/23/2009 1:44:52 PM
4/23/2009 1:55:16 PM
They had a midseason "finale", because Fox hadn't ordered a full run at the time.
4/23/2009 2:33:47 PM
I call these mid season breaks finales
4/23/2009 5:38:30 PM
Picked up for another season, woot:http://www.fringetelevision.com/2009/05/its-official-fringe-picked-up-for.html
5/5/2009 10:05:05 PM
the only thing I have against this show is that Denethor, steward of Gondor, seems to know everything about everything, no matter what it is.
5/5/2009 10:15:48 PM
what happened at the very end? fucking american idol. I saw the lady from massive get in the elevator and then it cut off and it's not up on hulu yet
5/5/2009 11:08:48 PM
me a'rikey dis show very much yes really becoming similar to LOST in the plot twists.....
5/6/2009 12:39:31 AM
^^she was shot by 2 men right as she walked in her apt. the end
5/6/2009 8:24:30 AM
What was in the previews for next week?
5/6/2009 9:15:42 AM
I didn't see The Observer when the girl blew up. Was he there?^^^^Just add an extra 5-15 minutes to end of your DVR recording. I can't imagine FOX moving Fringe from that Tuesday 9pm slot after American Idol so just remember to do it next season too.^Next week is the finally, David Robert Jones is back, and we finally meet William Bell[Edited on May 6, 2009 at 11:51 AM. Reason : fixed]
5/6/2009 11:50:53 AM
The previews made it look like William Bell is in like another dimension or parallel universe, haha, but I guess that wouldn't be too crazy for this show.I also think the Spock guy(Ron's bro) had half of the story right, I could see the experimental children being future "warriors" in some war.
5/6/2009 12:04:17 PM
We did see buildings on fire from some kind of battle in one of her branches so that "warrior" story is probably not too far off.Was Olivia seeing one of those branches right before Clint Howard's character is telling her and Peter about the Star Trek connections or was Peter hearing that too?
5/6/2009 12:18:49 PM
5/6/2009 1:04:07 PM
that was the point of the conversation with him. he had some partial info but they had to make him less believable by including the star trek stuff so that they would have a harder time figuring the whole thing out.[Edited on May 6, 2009 at 1:08 PM. Reason : ]
5/6/2009 1:08:30 PM
i felt like the Massive Dynamic lady might have just been shot with tranquilizer darts, not automatically bullets
5/6/2009 4:42:26 PM
so Spock is William Bell lol
5/13/2009 1:34:12 AM
for some reason i had been expecting that for the last couple of episodes. not really sure how i came to that though.great episode. i love this show more and more w/ each ep. can't wait til the fall
5/13/2009 10:38:08 AM
i hate when they put guest appearances in the opening credits, because it's not really a surprise when they showi kinda like the alternate world thing, i guess Olivia also went through a teleport flash when she was in the elevator because otherwise I would think she would have ended up in the same building that was present in her original world, not the freakin WTC
5/13/2009 10:44:40 AM
i didn't see the first few minutes.and, um, yeah that part was pretty obvious...
5/13/2009 11:08:57 AM
i haven't watched this show this spring... is it any better than it was? Oh, and ron howard's brother had roles in several star trek episodes... one from the original (The Corbanite Maneuver)... he played the child-like alien running the alien ship.he also played a mentally ill bum in the episode of DS9 when they go back in time during the Bell Riots.
5/13/2009 12:19:03 PM
One thing that threw me off - so Peter is really the Peter from the alternate dimension?
5/13/2009 1:13:51 PM
^Yep, the original Peter died when he was a kid, and Walter created a portal to an alternate dimension to get his son back. I'm wondering if that event is what really kick started the war between dimensions that ZFT is talking about. Maybe alternate realty Walter went completely nuts after his son got kidnapped and wants revenge or something.
5/13/2009 1:25:28 PM
bah, stupid oh shit error.what i tried to post was:yeah that's what they were getting at w/ the whole alternate universe w/ slightly different versions of the same people and the grave marker. i thought it was fairly obvious...
5/13/2009 1:25:39 PM
^^Yeah I could see the alternate Walter being the one that wrote the manuscript. The typewriters they both have might be identical(like the coin Peter had) so it would explain why he THINKS he wrote it. The other Walter might have flipped out about losing Peter and came up with the manuscript.
5/13/2009 2:42:05 PM
I can't wait until Walter meets alternate Walter.
5/13/2009 2:45:23 PM
5/13/2009 2:54:47 PM
I thought the shot of the newspaper was just to show that we are in the year 2009 and hadn't gone back in time. Maybe I just overlooked "the new White House" part.
5/13/2009 2:59:51 PM
5/13/2009 3:28:22 PM
^haha I just noticed the "Celtics Sweep! Len Bias wins MVP" headline...nice touch, but I think Bias would be like 46 if he were still alive. [Edited on May 13, 2009 at 3:37 PM. Reason : .]
5/13/2009 3:35:06 PM
hahaha that ep ruled. Fuckin spock in this shit. awesome.
