As for the husband not calling it in, my mom can disappear for hours at a time and then it just turns out her cell phone went dead while she was out or something equally as lame. If my dad called the cops every time she went out for awhile the cops would stop answering the phone when their number came up on caller ID

I personally wouldn't start worrying until it was evening and I still hadn't heard anything.

yea but where was she going without um car keys, money, ID, etc? that is a really long run. i mean if she was running and supposed to be back you might think "oh no what if she got hurt" (i mean sprained an ankle or something).

still maybe not a reason to call the cops but, it'd still be weird if your SO was gone for 7 hours without like a purse or anything, no?

and yea not calling the cops doesn't mean he wasn't worried. he did say he tried to call Adam back after she had reported her missing to get someone's phone number. but it didn't say he called anyone (like friends) before then. but maybe he did.

So maybe he was worried, but he could alleviate his concerns by saying, "Meh, maybe she ran into __________ and since they were going to meet up later anyway they're chilling now." And then he got a phone call from ___________ asking if she was still at home because they were supposed to meet up and that's when everyone realizes that she's actually missing.

i don't take any of these things with me when i run, unless i drive to the lake and then i take my car key off the ring and carry that. however, if i jogged at obscure hours (yes, i consider anything not broad daylight in general obscure hours), i would probably would carry these thing, especially id. you don't really need money when you run however, but kets and id i can understand.

I just said that for the hell of it. I doubt a mystery boyfriend killed her, although it sounds like she has one. It has been reported on other sites that their marriage was strained because she wanted him to leave the house and he refused.

i love how people always try to make things more dramatic than they are (like saying she hesitated and then answered)...or like when my dad was watching fox news the other day and instead of just coming out and saying "the couple was having marital problems" and leaving it at that, they made a point of asking "how was the state of the relationship between the husband and wife?" (like they would have asked that if the couple was happy...) and trying to insinuate something even more...or when they said that where the body was found was too far away from where anyone would have been running...wait, didn't you just say a guy walking his dog found the body???

i would have started worrying after 1-2 hours and blown up her phone. if she didn't have her phone with her, i would have drove around and started looking, then called the cops.

There is NOWAY i would have waited until evening to be concerned...
