guy up there was right about the blazers/pacers
6/26/2008 9:15:42 PM
I take a shot on Deandre Jordan. The guy is huge and could blossom into the post threat the Bobcats so desperately need.
6/26/2008 9:15:52 PM
6/26/2008 9:16:29 PM
Fuck Deandre Jordan Larry brown would hate that guy. he doesn't play hard, he's too small, and he's five years away from being productive if he can even stay in the league. We need a guy who can fucking play not some punk kid that can't defend anyone.
6/26/2008 9:18:13 PM
am I missing something with some math here or has the WNBA been around longer than I think?
6/26/2008 9:18:38 PM
Man I hate Stuart Scott.
6/26/2008 9:18:47 PM
I hope the Cavs take Arthur, Hickson or CDR
6/26/2008 9:19:20 PM

6/26/2008 9:19:22 PM

6/26/2008 9:21:06 PM

6/26/2008 9:21:15 PM
AAAAAHdamn.I have no idea if he will be any good, but it would be nice to see him on the bobcats.
6/26/2008 9:21:19 PM
koufos:-/
6/26/2008 9:21:20 PM
isn't ced in Cleveland toogood for Charlotte that they will get koufos....they need him[Edited on June 26, 2008 at 9:23 PM. Reason : d]
6/26/2008 9:21:24 PM
lol... must improve work ethic
6/26/2008 9:21:33 PM
But but but J.J. already played for a NBA coach!
6/26/2008 9:22:13 PM
julius went #19 too didn't he
6/26/2008 9:22:23 PM
Cedric Simmons plays for the Bullsbut he used to play for the Cavs
6/26/2008 9:22:49 PM
WTF?! Must Improve: Work EthicSidney said JJ is one of the hardest workers he's ever worked with. The guy is the only one to go in at 6 am for an early workout and get in a second workout with the rest of the team in the afternoon. He was even given a key to the Dail Practice Facility so that he could go workout whenever he wanted.
6/26/2008 9:23:13 PM
I called that shit
6/26/2008 9:23:16 PM
still a little of a surprise to me, but looking at the list of guys left, it does make sense for the CavsI'd like to see him develop and actually contribute rather than just getting traded. Let's hope he does well in practice...
6/26/2008 9:23:25 PM
thats bullshit he needs to improve work ethic, hes the only player on our team that tried
6/26/2008 9:23:35 PM
3 posts!? how long ago did you make that prediction, when JJ was in middle school?and Hodge was picked 20th by the Nuggets[Edited on June 26, 2008 at 9:24 PM. Reason : asdf]
6/26/2008 9:24:04 PM
Work ethic and bringing it every single night are totally different guys...
6/26/2008 9:24:49 PM
I kind of thought that he had a real possibility to go to Cleveland when all of those other bigs went right before him. He even basically said in interviews that Cleveland told him they'd pick him up at #19 if he was there.
6/26/2008 9:25:22 PM
Honestly.... and maybe I'm an outlier... but I don't really care.JJ was alright here, but didn't do anything to help lead the team IMO and the year he was here was the biggest disappointment of my time as a State fan.I was so pumped when Julius got drafted and I was even happy for Powell and Ced... With Hickson I'm just.. meh... the biggest thing that I like is the exposure for our program.
6/26/2008 9:26:01 PM
same here
6/26/2008 9:26:57 PM
LOOOOOOOOL
6/26/2008 9:27:02 PM
JJ brought it nearly every single game. I can only remember 2 times when Sidney got in his face and sat him for a lengthy period of time b/c he got lackadaisical in his play.
6/26/2008 9:27:03 PM
^^^^yeah, I'm the exact same wayI guess its because the other players stayed for more than a year and showed some emotion on the courtand HAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA at the Bobcats pick, what a fucking joke of a team[Edited on June 26, 2008 at 9:28 PM. Reason : asdf]
6/26/2008 9:27:18 PM

6/26/2008 9:27:32 PM

6/26/2008 9:29:05 PM
bernie bickerstaff snuck in and sabotaged the paper slip they give to Stern
6/26/2008 9:29:12 PM
This fucker can barely walk and we drafted his ass?My God DeAndre Jordan would have been a bad pick, but still better than this cat.
6/26/2008 9:29:28 PM
ahahaha how can the former heels suck so muchgood spot for jj
6/26/2008 9:29:31 PM
Would it have been too much to ask for the Wizards to draft Hickson? Who the hell is JaVale McGee?

RealGM on Ajinca:Ajinca has as a great chance of becoming the best center in this draft because he has the best overall skill set on both sides of the ball. What Ford said back on June 16:Who's hotAjincaAlexis Ajinca, F/C, FranceAjinca has been on the NBA radar screen for years, but over the past few weeks he's seen his stock soar -- he has been dominating high-profile college prospects, such as JaVale McGee, in workouts. He also played very well at the Golden State workout, prompting one GM to say that if Ajinca had been a college player, he'd be a lock for the lottery right now.A legit 7-foot-1 with a huge 7-foot-8 wingspan, Ajinca has all the physical tools NBA scouts look for in a big man. He is athletic, he runs the floor well and he has a wide variety of skills. And while he needs to continue to get stronger, he has been improving in that department, too.A number of teams -- including a few in the lottery, such as the Clippers, Bobcats, Nets and Raptors -- are taking a close look at him. We've been projecting him as a late first-round pick, but given the positive feedback recently, he'll be moving up considerably in our next mock draft.
6/26/2008 9:31:53 PM
Are the Blazers and Pacers just gonna swap teams or something?
