i like this, but jcrew has gotten WAY too expensive. when did that happen? i guess i don't shop much anymore. but their clothes seem a little outrageous these days.

BTW I worked at Jcrew for almost 4 years. That madras plaid bathing suit fits horribly! It's all cotton with no stretch. Good luck getting it wet.

I found it on that beachbliss but it's made by Juicy Couture. On the site it only comes in that color, but they usually do suits in a couple colors.

Imma look on Neiman Marcus or something. It would be pretty in another color

Ohhh this would be good for the boobies!!! By Juicy as well

not that this will change anything as far as how the ladies view each other's suits, but guys dont really give much of a fuck about whether or not your bathing suit has ruffles or has certain colors or whatever...we just care about whats exposed and whats underneath...FYI

^^you know.

i dont really think girls are too concerned about what guys think.
i think they are more concerned with looking sexy/cute/ whatever by other girls standards.

seriously.

i mean all the girls on here are pretty much asking for other girl's opinions.

I need a suit and I cannot find one that fits my milk juggs. I am so frustrated! I have gone three times looking for a swimsuit in malls. I want all these suits that don't fit me. This is equated to bra shopping.

so i have a question for yall. one of my friends hasn't worn a bathing suit since she was 12. she had double d boobs and is 4'11 and really self conscious about them. can ya'll recommend a bathing suit that she might CONSIDER wearing? One that somewhat hides her top portion?

Don't know how to imbed the pic but this is what I'm thinking about getting...

(did it work?)
anyways, opinions? I've been told I look good in red...I really really like it. I'm still not sure if I should or not.

I absolutely must buy a suit soon. Like, this week, at the latest

I'm liking this one from Land's End. Do any of you bigger-chested women have this? I'll be primarily swimming laps in this. Can I expect a Land's End suit to withstand chlorine well? That's part of why i'm buying a new suit

i'm not big chested and i do not own a land's end suit so i really don't know why i am responding haha. BUT here are my thoughts:

1. land's end is a good company so it seems as though their suits would be durable
2. when i swim laps (i was a swimmer) i only wear the speedo suits which clearly survive chlorine but they aren't cute at all. with that suit you could use it as a lap swimming suit or it could just be a suit for like, the beach or anything.
3. this is probably common sense but (most) bathing suits do ok with chlorine as long as you rinse them out in cold water after! i thought everyone did this but some people have called me weird for it so maybe they don't. i always just jump in the shower in mine and take it off and hang it up in there.

i'm glad you are going to swim laps!!! it is such a great form of exercise. total body. and easier on the knee/hip joints than walking or running.

oh but also if you are going to be in the pool you might want to also pay special care to your hair. hair is what i'd be worried about more than a suit chlorine is NOT nice to hair!!
