My orange button on the guitar was sticking, so I had to take the neck apart, insert a piece of chipboard behind the rubber pad, and then I filed down the actual orange key a little bit so it doesn't fit so snugly into the hole.

the touchpad on the new guitar is awful.

it's pretty pointless. the only thing i use it for so far is the solo on crazy train.they need to spend less time animating purple strings and more time getting the rights to good songs. i'm not thrilled with the playlist or most of the DLC; if they would let me import my GH3 songs (or GH1/2 for that matter) and give access to GH3 DLC, I'd be golden. As it is, I got GHWT for the better drum set, but I'd rather be playing Rock Band.

I actually like this set list more than GH3. my guitar seems to randomly miss notes though, even when I'm not even touching the strum bar/whammy/buttons.

I haven't played this yet...can I safely assume that GH2 is still far and away the best of the GH games?

Yeah; the mechanics are nice on WT though, in that the hammer-ons and pull-offs are tighter than they were in 3. It's gone back to being more similar to 2 in that regard, and seems just about right.

I'm sorry, but RB2 just blows this out of the water. From the sound quality of the songs, to the accuracy of the hammers (I've had numerous wtf moments during a song in GH but not in RB). I also think it's bullshit that you have to press a button for star power.

Um, you don't. Just tilt guitar up like always. You CAN hit a button for star power, but definitely don't have to.
