If the Onion did F1 coverage"Massa Wins; Ferrari fires him anyway"but seriously a close championship. Kovalinen needs to get some momentum going, and BMW is STILL racing for points very well

5/22/2008 4:00:54 PM
exactly. we'd be lucky to see four cars finish the race
5/22/2008 4:21:53 PM
Good. One of the most memorable F1 races I've watched was Olivier Panis in a Ligier winning Monaco and only 4 cars finished.
5/22/2008 4:43:56 PM
well Renault looked stunning today Mclaren v Ferrari I will put Hamilton on pole and Kimi second
5/22/2008 5:15:45 PM
Well Kimi IS secondbut Massa on pole. Massa might just win the championship this year.

5/25/2008 11:25:09 AM
So I go home yesterday to visit my parents over the long weekend and when I go to bed I put my Ferrari hat on the dining room table.I get up this morning and my mom tells me one of the cats peed in it.I'm guessing they don't like Ferrari?
5/25/2008 11:49:55 AM
great race, would of liked to have seen red on top but oh well, and btw damn you dvr for cutting short the race.
5/25/2008 5:54:39 PM
Poor Pique.
5/25/2008 8:04:33 PM

6/8/2008 8:05:09 PM
10 grids penalty on Hamilton and Rosberg at France GP.
6/8/2008 10:18:01 PM

ITS AN IMPOSTER! hahah nahh but its funny cause lewis' hand looks white in that picture.
6/9/2008 8:41:16 AM
what's even better about this whole thing is that Lewis's dad wrecked and spun into someone's back yard and almost took out the playground toys and crap.I don't agree with rosbergs penalty, but for hamilton it's perfect.
6/9/2008 9:26:26 AM
^^^ I love this scene, too!

sucks that kimi's exhaust fell off, at least he managed to finish & keep 2nd place. Ferrari should be fast in england as well, hopefully we'll see Kimi on pole again for 5 in a row.I pretty much new going in that lewham would do something stupid frantically trying to move up & get another penalty. Didn't exactly destroy anyone today did he? He should probably count himself lucky, a drive through at magny cours isn't as bad as it could be.If you had told me going in that trulli would lead the train to a podium finish i would never have believed you. 6/22/2008 5:59:11 PM
they did bring up a good point though on tv... any other team would have been flagged for debris
6/22/2008 6:28:28 PM
I don't see how its any different than a front wing falling off a car post accident, nobody gets penalties for leaving stuff like that on track. So, I do not agree.
6/22/2008 6:38:50 PM
they also don't drag the wing around for 15-20 laps flapping in the breeze a stainless steel collecter would fuck someone up coming into the crowd at speed.
6/22/2008 6:43:12 PM
and when they do pit they will change the wing too.
6/23/2008 7:58:51 PM
I was surprised they didn't cut it off myself, call me when there is a huge outcry.
6/23/2008 10:18:56 PM
It's inconel, not stainless steel. It's very very light. It would also be very very hot being so close to the exiting exhaust gases. None of the mechanics could have grabbed it by hand without getting 3rd degree burns. Pliers or something might have been a good idea, but if race control didn't say anything about it in the 5 or 6 laps they ran with it dangling, why worry about it?
6/24/2008 6:19:06 AM
Just got around to watching quali, quite the surprising front row.
7/5/2008 11:00:19 PM
Good job to Kovalainen and Webber! As you all may know, David Coulthard has announced his retirement from F1 driver.http://en.f1-live.com/f1/en/headlines/news/detail/080703154156.shtml

what a race!!!!too many spins! it's like figureskating.. haha. Well, Hamilton.. usual..Congrats to Heidfeld and Barrichello!Lately Ferrari's race plan hasn't worked well. Raikkonen should have changed his tires at the first pitstop! [Edited on July 6, 2008 at 11:56 AM. Reason : bo]

7/6/2008 6:56:39 PM
I hardly think halfway through the season with lewham in a three way tie for the drivers championship is the time to be singing that song.
7/6/2008 9:09:19 PM
I thought he was a ferrari guy ?yeah... shit just got interesting....
7/6/2008 9:31:18 PM
Ferrari? uhhhhhhhhhhhh do I have to take pictures of all my McLaren stuff that I have?I just had to rub it in, since Ferrari just about totally screwed up this race. Massa better hope it doesn't rain anymore. I mean he was the WORSE driver today, without argument.
7/6/2008 9:54:11 PM
If you're going to rub it in, how about doing it in a more relevant fashion. they probably don't even remember the words to the song at mclaren its been so long.
