If the Onion did F1 coverage

"Massa Wins; Ferrari fires him anyway"

but seriously a close championship. Kovalinen needs to get some momentum going, and BMW is STILL racing for points very well

Good. One of the most memorable F1 races I've watched was Olivier Panis in a Ligier winning Monaco and only 4 cars finished.

So I go home yesterday to visit my parents over the long weekend and when I go to bed I put my Ferrari hat on the dining room table.

I get up this morning and my mom tells me one of the cats peed in it.

I'm guessing they don't like Ferrari?

Poor Pique.

Quote :
"Fernando drove an aggressive race, but after his off it was clear that he was too far behind to finish in the points. Nelson's race was disappointing, but Monaco remains a difficult challenge for a test driver."

Hamilton is still mentally fragile...

what's even better about this whole thing is that Lewis's dad wrecked and spun into someone's back yard and almost took out the playground toys and crap.

I don't agree with rosbergs penalty, but for hamilton it's perfect.

""The rule is a bit silly," Hamilton said about not being able to leave the pitlane when the safety car and the rest of the field is passing by. "We are in the race - how can you red light at the end of the pitlane? But that's the rule and I accept it. I start 10 places back in the next race. It's a bit harsh. I didn't aim to ruin anyone's race.

"Going forward, the mood is strong. The fact is we destroyed everyone at the weekend. With the car we have right now there is no stopping us." "

Well, hes got that half right anyway.

sucks that kimi's exhaust fell off, at least he managed to finish & keep 2nd place. Ferrari should be fast in england as well, hopefully we'll see Kimi on pole again for 5 in a row.
I pretty much new going in that lewham would do something stupid frantically trying to move up & get another penalty. Didn't exactly destroy anyone today did he? He should probably count himself lucky, a drive through at magny cours isn't as bad as it could be.
If you had told me going in that trulli would lead the train to a podium finish i would never have believed you.

I don't see how its any different than a front wing falling off a car post accident, nobody gets penalties for leaving stuff like that on track. So, I do not agree.

they also don't drag the wing around for 15-20 laps flapping in the breeze a stainless steel collecter would fuck someone up coming into the crowd at speed.

It's inconel, not stainless steel. It's very very light. It would also be very very hot being so close to the exiting exhaust gases. None of the mechanics could have grabbed it by hand without getting 3rd degree burns. Pliers or something might have been a good idea, but if race control didn't say anything about it in the 5 or 6 laps they ran with it dangling, why worry about it?

Good job to Kovalainen and Webber!

As you all may know, David Coulthard has announced his retirement from F1 driver.

what a race!!!!
too many spins! it's like figureskating.. haha.

Well, Hamilton.. usual..
Congrats to Heidfeld and Barrichello!

Lately Ferrari's race plan hasn't worked well. Raikkonen should have changed his tires at the first pitstop!

Ferrari? uhhhhhhhhhhhh do I have to take pictures of all my McLaren stuff that I have?

I just had to rub it in, since Ferrari just about totally screwed up this race. Massa better hope it doesn't rain anymore. I mean he was the WORSE driver today, without argument.

If you're going to rub it in, how about doing it in a more relevant fashion. they probably don't even remember the words to the song at mclaren its been so long.
