AWWWWW.

In my current relationship a huge fight was the first time that we said we loved each other and the 'Ok, I think this is worth my time' marker.

<< Got married at 23.

And it was by far the best decision I have ever made.

To each his own.

And having your SO say "YES, I'm excited about your new camera!" because he loves your pictures and wants to decorate his whole house with your photography, and hardly anything else ...<3

...This might turn into the 'awesome things about zorthage thread'

I don't know what your situation is...

but I absolutely despise when people throw around the "L" word just cause they are with someone or dating them or what not

I've only used it a few times in relationships... to me it actually is a word that has meaning

I got really freaked out when an ex said it the first time while we were in the middle of having sex... and that was like... the 3rd or 4th time we had done it

I wouldn't tell someone I loved them if I didn't. In high school I was sorta "dating" this guy. He always said he loved me and would get irritated when I didn't reply. Finally I told him really irritably that if ever decide I loved him, I'd tell him so. I feel sorta bad for him, but after he finally understood the fact that I didn't want to be with him, he went and married this fat chick who as far as I know, he didn't know very long. (my mom says she thinks he had been with her the whole time, but who knows).
with dagreenone, it was easy to say, and I meant it sincerely.

^OMG, lighthouses!

I think I knew we'd be you know the real deal, when just a few months in I had to literally hold myself back form saying "I love you" accidentally. I mean I really felt it and that word just doesn't get thrown around for me but it felt so natural that I just wanted to say it!

I think that's why I left family, friends, and a steady job in NC for the unknown in TN with him. Best decision I ever made though.

same thing. i figure either way youre trained into one way of thinking, and then it all blows up in your face!!1 (see the jackleg ho/housewife theory)

Quote :
"the jackleg theory of ho/housewife states that its a gene or something, and i think this theory can be applied to some situations where females are "acting irrationally" or "doing crazy shit" etc. its like turning a wild animal into a house pet. ha ha, you can't take a fox out of the woods and bring it inside and expect everything to be normal. even if it seems that you and the fox get along well.

i mean, it might be ok with it for a while... the fox might even come try to be petted like a cat or a dog, but every time it has the instinct to go be outside in its natural state, its gonna flip out and just destroy everything in the house until you figure out that the behavior means it wants to go. this is the part of the theory that explains why the wild woman will give responses such as "its not you, its me", and "i dont know why i do that" etc.

the creature outside of its natural comfort zone might very well benefit from, and even enjoy some of the things that come from living like a domesticated animal. but unless it was born to be domesticated, there are going to be times when it suddenly decides that it needs to be in the wild, and it will rip your head off, if necessary, to get out the door and back into the forest.

many people try, few come close, but all eventually fail. cause you cant turn a ho into a housewife. cause after a certain period of domestication, they will revert back to what they were, and they will bite your head off for no reason and then leave. and when they do, they will be so disoriented from being a housewife for so long that they will mate with the entire population of foxes."

You do realize, sir, that you are a goddamn genius. Either that or you plagiarized some really good shit.

yeah, i was with a girl for 3.5 years until she cheated on me with a redneck and possibly 47 other friends of mine.

lesson: don't date girls who leave a guy for you...who think they lead a better life because they'll make more money than you...who alienate you from all your friends...who are bitches.

end of a true story.

ha i dont plagarize.

but this thread actually got me to thinking last night... ad one of the girls i dated that i'd call a whore is supposedly happily married and settled down now. i dont know more because of my "i dont care to know anything about what they are up to, so dont tell me" rule. this one happened to come in an email so i had to be subjected to it. ha ha

when we dated, however... she was really into going places i didnt like going to on purpose so she could get her cheat on. maybe theres an age postulate that i should add to my theory(THEOREM) -- nah im sure her marriage will end in divorce.

wait this isnt even the same thread that got me thinking. did someone crosspost my theory of sluts? ha ha

i take back my statement about definitely not.

he possesses a lot of qualities that make him the one in my heart, and it'd be a blessing to wake up next to him everyday for the rest of my life, but we both have a lot of walls that need to come down before really feeling that in my heart 100%. if that makes any sense.

but i'm 99.999999999999% sure he doesn't feel the same way lol.

In the past couple of weeks, I've gone from (5) 2GB SD cards to two, and my mom is using one in the camera I'm loaning her.

I grabbed a 4GB SD card that, by all research done by me, my bf, and my mom, should work, but doesn't.

I'd been planning to just keep making do with my 1 SD card until I could snag one for ~$5. But I came home last night, and there were (2) new 2GB cards on my desk. He was up in Chicago again, and his dad had gotten one for himself for $13, so matt went and got me the last two they had in stock <3

Only change that to 25 in a week. At least the boyfriend has realized that he won't be able to talk me into it for a while, there will be a pre-nup (no exceptions, not getting one is just stupid), and I absolutely won't change my name unless he also changes his and we pick a new one.

Also, separate accounts.

I have NO problems with living together and never getting married, so he knows that if he can talk me into it then it'll have to be my way.
