very good ending
4/24/2008 8:57:11 PM
yeah, overall I thought it was a very good episode
4/24/2008 10:56:01 PM
byee kelso
4/24/2008 11:38:31 PM
I thought it was depressing, but I'm glad that Kelso left on his own terms.
4/25/2008 12:11:11 AM
It was pretty good. The season finale is going to be that shitty Princess Bride tribute... I hated the musical thing and for a season finale that is
4/25/2008 12:10:08 PM
Bryan where'd you read that? If the lyrics are funny it might not be that bad.
4/26/2008 3:16:56 PM
I don't remember... some entertainment show I saw in passing on tv. it's on wikipedia too though.I'm guessing Season 8 is confirmed at least internally as I can't imagine the series finale being this crap..[Edited on April 27, 2008 at 3:49 PM. Reason : x]

More rumors that there will be an 8th season on ABC:http://www.tvsquad.com/2008/04/28/scrubs-to-abc-the-worst-kept-secret-in-hollywood/

Looks like next week will pretty much seal the JD/Eliot deal.
5/1/2008 9:14:10 PM
This gonna be the end?!?!?
5/1/2008 9:50:46 PM
GEE, I WONDER IF JD AND ELIOT WILL GET BACK TOGETHER?By the way, the first part of the episode tonight was the funniest since at least season 3 to me... I was dying when Ted asked the girl to have his baby...^ season finale... nbc isn't going to advertise the show for ABC so it's the nbc finale.. there will be an 18 show season 8 though.
5/2/2008 12:00:40 AM
what's the deal with kelso coming back? mess up production order?
5/2/2008 7:29:50 AM
^ Maybe...but my thoughts are that Kelso will be coming back...especially now if ABC will be picking the show up for a season 8. I mean look at the episode this week I don't think Cox really WANTS to nor would he make a good Chief. He's too hands on of a doctor to be an administrator. And Kelso might really be bored with being "retired"...the hospital asks him to come back and he does...Then again it might be a production mix up....my poor brain couldn't handle a whole 18 ep season without Kelso...
5/2/2008 8:50:11 AM
5/3/2008 10:30:07 PM
This episode Thursday is going to blow...
5/6/2008 2:21:07 PM
To bad too because I thought they were getting progressively better
5/6/2008 3:23:19 PM
in the coming attractions for this week they showed eliot and jd on a horse like in medieval times, lol
5/6/2008 6:06:17 PM
yeah tonights episode is a cross between Monty Python and The Princess Bride
5/8/2008 10:41:48 AM
GOD DAMNIT! I HATE YOU WCNC NEWS CHANNEL 6.A Tornado warning 100 miles away and you decide to be the only local channel that interrupts primetime programming to cover it. and you cover it for over 45 minutes. Hell I saw less than 2 minutes of Earl and now I'm not gonna even get to see Scrubs. WHAT THE FUCK!?
5/8/2008 8:35:12 PM
They better get this weather shit off the tv by 9 for the office.
5/8/2008 8:50:43 PM
this was it? if so, the series deserved much betternm, season 8?[Edited on May 8, 2008 at 9:03 PM. Reason : abc]
5/8/2008 9:02:18 PM
Regardless of if Scrubs comes back to ABC next year - the NBC executive that allowed that to be the "finale" can rot in hell.
5/8/2008 9:08:45 PM
i watch reruns on comedy central from time to time
5/8/2008 9:18:37 PM
5/8/2008 9:25:46 PM
^ Well then it's a good thing that this wasn't the last episode of Scrubs. That, or his name is Giant.
5/8/2008 9:54:28 PM
Where did kelso come from? Was this filmed earlier in the season and then marked as the finale? Where there more episodes between ep '11' and '10' or what? Granted I watched ep 10 drunk as all hell but I only remember kelso being in it laughing at carla's helpus proposal re: cox.what am i missing here.
5/8/2008 10:59:00 PM
Clearly this was something they must have had filmed before, or at least parts of it. With the writer strike it probably pushed everything off and they decided to hold this episode till the end because it was unique and different and they figured a good way to go out. If that was the last scrubs ever, what a shame. If it ends up on a different station, it isn't much better where is the show going to go, except for a 1 season wrap up. Although scrubs has gone downhill a bit, it was still great at one time and solid over the past few years, but the way the end of it has been handled has really ruined it.
5/8/2008 11:28:46 PM
Yeah, that episode was a complete catastrophe. They were supposed to reveal the Janitor's real name, so that could not have been the planned series finale. Here's to hoping for at least a DVD release of the final. The Kelso thing confused me initially. My thoughts are that we saw the episode where Kelso leaves, but they planned an episode where he would return in the future to reclaim the throne. This episode would likely have been placed after that. My guesses are that they wanted to do this episode because it wrapped up the Eliot and JD thing . . . though in the most anti-climactic and cop-out way possible. This episode also look like a lot of work went into it to give it an 'epic' feel . . . though it was about the same feeling I got from the 30 minutes of Epic Movie that I had to sit through.
5/8/2008 11:38:55 PM
5/8/2008 11:53:32 PM
That was f'ing terrible... BUT it was clearly supposed to be shown before the past few week's episodes.. so it really doesn't do anything to tell us about Eliot/JD.. that will be done in Season 8 on ABC I'm sure... nbc has been fucking this show for like 3 seasons now, so I shouldn't be surprised that they moved shit around to get their way this yearBut Sarah Chalke[Edited on May 8, 2008 at 11:57 PM. what. the. fuck. I'm 5 minutes in and this episode ruined this whole season.Screw off NBC

5/13/2008 11:02:10 AM
yeah if its a midseason filler it will probably be a 13 episode season give or take
5/13/2008 11:22:06 AM
The episodes being run out of order helps clear some other things up as well.It looked like they were building towards a JD/Elliot reunion (obvious, I know but still) and that last episode seemed to squash that. Now it seems that the buildup was supposed to happen AFTER the princess ep, which makes a lot more sense.I just hope ABC doesn't mess with the schedule as much as the network bastards at NBC did.
5/13/2008 12:23:57 PM
^if its a midseason run then they probably wont. The thing about abc though is they don't have very many half-hour shows and I dont really see it fitting with Samantha-Who? So i dont really know where it will fit on the schedule but, yeah, if its a midseason run it wont have the time to get moved around
5/13/2008 12:54:56 PM
I read that the season will be 18 episodes, so maybe Braff meant the finale season starts in the fall or something...
5/13/2008 2:26:28 PM
all they did was swap episode 10 and 11. It makes perfect sense:They ended with a hint that JD and Elliot were getting back together with the whole "Why do people think I'm his mother?" and them laughing and having a moment. And the Janitor's name is Josh."Ive been called a lot of bad things.... Josh...""Even though all of these things are somewhat true.."or something. Even though I'm not sure if that was ep. 10 or 9.
5/14/2008 2:07:33 AM
the best part of the janitor is when JD caught his cameo on The Fugitive.they should have kept that going with JD watching other random movies and him popping up. I think he was in Rookie of the Year or Angels in the Outfield
5/14/2008 9:44:35 AM
He also played a cop in Chain Reaction with Keanu. I caught him in that the other day, and just like in the Fugitive, he's shot and killed.
5/14/2008 2:16:00 PM
He is in Rookie of the Year
5/14/2008 2:23:34 PM
Here is some Great news! Good read and makes me excited about next season.
5/15/2008 11:51:33 AM
That is good news! Glad to see Bill noticed some of the problems with last season and is working to correct them. Also glad they are keeping Kelso on board. The new dynamic between him and Dr. Cox should be interesting
5/15/2008 1:03:28 PM
^yeah, based on this and what NBC has done with other promising shows and not giving them the chance to establish themselves I have really dropped NBC from my watch list. Honestly heroes and Earl and Scrubs are all i followed over the last season and with one slumping, one sucking, and one gone I have no reason to even stop on this channel anymore.
5/15/2008 1:33:03 PM
^^^ that is awesome, he pretty much took on every issue that people have been bitching about (at least here on tdub), and said they're going to fix it. awesome.
5/15/2008 1:41:41 PM
except cheaper doesn't bode well for filming in HD
5/15/2008 1:44:17 PM
seriously, i don't care if it is in HD or not as long as it brings the funny/good story lines/rids itself of the crap it did this year.I spent years watching the show not in HD, I can live without.
5/15/2008 1:46:07 PM
^^they already said long ago that they had no intention of shooting it in HD. They did 1 or 2 episodes last year i think, and they said they just didn't like the way it looked, and something about their set being pretty old and rundown and it doesn't need to be seen in all its glory
