i'm gonna put on my gold necklace that has a cross on it...even if god doesnt exist, it at least gives me a placebo effect of feeling better
11/20/2007 5:32:05 PM
I would shoot myself.
11/20/2007 5:37:59 PM
and you'd go to hell, wait, that's just about every religion, yeah you'd be fucked anyways
11/20/2007 5:58:53 PM
I'm Catholic - I like it
11/20/2007 6:03:52 PM
when you go to church and you have things you want forgiveness for do you just think them or do you have to say them aloud or what?i am really looking forward to going...i feel it will help me in the short term
11/21/2007 8:59:24 PM
^ thats more of a reconciliation thing but thats a sacrament only catholics can actually partake in. personally i believe if you are not catholic and are honestly trying to repent for something, God will listen. thats essentially what reconciliation is based on anywho
11/21/2007 9:01:28 PM
i just kinda want to say i'm sorry for a few things and then say i'm thankful for other things and that i hope the thankful things keep happening more often...give myself some good karma and a positive outlook, ya know?
11/21/2007 9:03:33 PM
so i'm not going...even got off work 1:15 early for it
11/24/2007 4:23:24 PM
i hope my coworker doesnt ask how it went
11/25/2007 8:15:33 AM
aha
11/25/2007 11:32:53 AM
so lately i havent been feeling closer to god or anything, but i have been wanting to help those less fortunate...its the american way...yesterday i was planning out starting a nonprofit organization to get donations for people for christmas, etc.....i feel this is something a catholic would do
12/23/2007 3:52:22 PM
giving to the less fortunate is a good thing to do no matter what denomination you are- i'm a fan of volunteering at the food bank, helping hand mission, and adopt a platoon (thats a yr round thing for me).
12/23/2007 3:56:43 PM
adopt a platoon?
12/23/2007 4:02:24 PM
if i ever start a nonprofit i'll send aea a pm
12/23/2007 4:04:25 PM
aren't there enough nonprofits collecting money for Christmas? Why don't you volunteer with one of those, dnl?
12/23/2007 4:07:44 PM
donate to the Human Fund
12/23/2007 4:09:34 PM
^^^^ you get assigned a platoon stationed in the "sand box" (for a length of time, or just one occasion) and send letter/gifts for each member of said platoon. its my favorite organization to volunteer for, mostly because i have had several platoon leaders keep in touch. it is really nice to get to know some of these people and show support for them.[Edited on December 23, 2007 at 4:10 PM. Reason : ^^]
12/23/2007 4:09:48 PM
i'd rather form my own nonprofit and like cordinate my services with other local nonprofits...yesterday i was thinking of how i'd get my building and supplies etc
12/23/2007 4:09:50 PM
TONY BLAIR!
12/23/2007 4:09:58 PM

today is a required day to go to catholic church if you want to get baptized
12/31/2007 7:35:06 PM
yall call it christened same shit thoughi'm real proud of you for not knowing that though
12/31/2007 7:35:59 PM
i'm pretty sure i've had a catholic ask me if i had been baptized before...he didnt say christened
12/31/2007 7:36:51 PM
pretty sure he probably was about the same level of dumb as you...btw i'm going to classes to be my niece's God Father right now so (she's catholic and i'm thinking i should be one too.) soo... yeah i think i know the deal [Edited on December 31, 2007 at 7:39 PM. Reason : .]
12/31/2007 7:37:55 PM
this dude is dumber...he dated a stripper once and has done other dumb things for coug
12/31/2007 7:38:40 PM
thanks that made that pretty easy.
12/31/2007 7:40:07 PM
so only baptists get baptized?
12/31/2007 7:41:00 PM
It's like watching two retarded migets play chess.
12/31/2007 7:42:25 PM
its sorta an age thing from what i've noticed. old Christian denominations get christened newer ones get baptized btw this is a ginourmous generalization so i'm sure there are ones that don't fit the rule. i know Lutherans Catholics and Episcopalians get christened though.
12/31/2007 7:43:56 PM
do episcopalianians get "episcopalianed"?[Edited on December 31, 2007 at 7:44 PM. Reason : episcopalized? lol]
12/31/2007 7:44:06 PM
if you are catholic, do you believe that this could happen:http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3338563/Catholic-Diocese-investigate-bleeding-communion-wafer-hailed-miracle-Utah-church.htmla wafer was put in water but instead of dissolving, it is still there after 3 days and has started "bleeding". catholic church is investigating to see if it is a miracle.video in link.

Don't watch Spotlight...or do, and leave the Catholic Church.
