i'd take kobe over jordan.

i think what stops me from picking kobe over jordan is that jordan made those around him better, as does lebron, however, kobe just doesn't have that flare. (imo)Kobe is by far one of the most gifted players in the NBA and in the history of basketball in general, but often times I feel like he takes it all upon himself.

jordan gets too much credit like that. he had good players around him, plain and simple.

i'd take kobe over jordan

kobe isn't quite better than Jordan...but MJ definitely gets way too much fucking credit for "making ihis teammates better" he was more selfish than kobe ever was early in his career when he was winning titles with Shaq. But MJ was a slightly better defender and seemed to dominate his era in a way Kobe just hasn't figured out how to do.The original dream team would probably win because of the depth of their squad. There's a serious drop off after the first 6 for this current team.[Edited on August 31, 2007 at 11:41 PM. Reason : .]

If Jordan had gone to NCSU instead of UNC no one on here would say that Kobe was better than Jordan.

^ of course.but if jordan had gone to any school that i'm impartial to, i'd stick w/ my original statement.

i was in vegas all of last week. didn't even know this was being held in town until like wed when a couple told us about running into some players at the palms. there was absolutely no marketing of this event in the city guides or anywhere else. after we found out from the couple that it was in town we thought about catching a game. but anyone we asked for information about it, concierge, cab drivers, etc. knew absolutely nothing about this event or even that it was in town. for a city that does such a great job of marketing itself and it's events really dropped the ball on this one. on second thought, vegas may actually be trying to distance itself from the nba after the fiasco that was all star weekend. heard many horrible stories from the locals about that event.

you can't be in the casino and in the basketball arena at the same time. thus, nobody wants you to know about basketball

watching this whole tournament really makes me wonder if Kobe had just one more PLAYER on his team, would they be dominant??
9/3/2007 2:22:29 AM
Dishing off to Lebron James versus dishing off to Luke Walton does make a big difference.
9/3/2007 2:27:21 AM
WE RUN THIS SHIT
9/3/2007 11:46:19 AM
^^Kobe can pass?
9/3/2007 2:23:52 PM
it would be very sweet if the lakers could somehow get lebron with kobe.even kwame brown will look like ewing then.
9/3/2007 9:23:57 PM
yeah these two could be a better version of michael and scottie
9/4/2007 12:09:19 AM
kobe looks like a little boy in that picture (maybe lost too much weight.)also, Lebron probably has the best basketball body ever.
