^ The last one held up great for 22 years, the only problems we ever had with it was 1 ignition coil $24, and a magneto wire rubbed through $0 (electrical tape), and I rebuilt the tilt/trim system because it was leaking down. It has run perfect, new spark plugs and battery every few years, and it cranks right up every time. I think what happened was the water pump impeller shit the bed, it overheated and the alarm didnt go off, so it cracked the block between the #3 and 4 cylinders.

Damn, the guy just sold the one we were gonna look at, so we're back on the hunt, and joel, gramps seems pretty interested in getting rid of the old one cheap as is, instead of trying to find an engine for it, so you may be in luck and if the new one we get has a trailer, he'll probably sell that along with the old boat, since we don't really need one.
