I think people dont give enough credit to the Packers, we are a good team, once we get a running game, we are a very very dangerous team.

Brett Favre is playing like he is in his 20s, our WRs corp has no super-star but is rock-solid, James Jones was a steal draft pick, Ryan Grant rushed for 100 yards today against the Vikings Rush Defense. Woodson on defense is also great. I think once Grant develop into a solid running threat that will really take us to the next level.

I wouldnt count the panthers out. They are on the road and have nothing to lose.

I think it will be close. May be a loss.

^ Well maybe not, but I think the packers D is getting better every game, and the QB for the Panthers Vinnie T. being 73 years old now I think the Packers D will also score some points...thus the 36. I'll admit I think the Panthers might not score 21 though. The Packers have 3 games in 12 days 2 of them on the road ending with Dallas in Dallas. If we could find a way to win the next 3 games it would show us as the team to beat in the NFC. More realistically though I am hoping to at least go 2-1. I would take a loss to Detroit on Thanksgiving if we could beat the cowgirls. :-)

As long as we dont lose by 2 TD's I'll be happy.

Win some you lose some. I think we will make the playoffs.

sure would be nice to win and take control of home-field advantage in the playoffs, though

I think just making the playoffs is a good achievement. We were a 4 win team two years ago. Granted home field would be nice, but if you cant beat Dallas on the road, you arnt going to be the patriots in Az.

If nothing else we learned a lot about the team tonight. Lets heal up from this and head in to the playoffs strong!

Musts for GB:
Woodson MUST come back, Bush is NOT a starting CB in the NFL.
KGB MUST come back, last night GB got 0 pass rush and it showed.

Before last night I would have said 100% Favre was the key to this car, but Aaron Rodgers actually played really well. He made a lot of nice plays with his legs and had some crisp passes. I had written him off from ever being a NFL QB but he really impressed me last night.

This off-season they need to get a safety with a brain though. Atari Bigby, as cool as his name is, has the most stupid penalties every week.

If he's healthy and doesn't mind getting moved over, I wouldn't be surprised to see Rouse take over for Bigby. He played well the two games previous to this and definitely deserves to be on the field.

edit: How could you not be sold on ARodge? He's always been awesome.

Well last year when he came in for Favre when he got banged up and Rodgers got hurt on like his first drive, that gave me a bad vibe about him. I didn't think he was great coming out of college and then he had me questioning his durability, and those are 2 bad negatives to have, haha.

Rogers looked great last night considering he was playing in his first real game action for more than a couple plays.....If he has to play going forward....he will only get better. We were missing two major players on D in Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila and Charles Woodson....and then with Favre going down early I would say we fared pretty well. I would to see Tony Homo go down and see what the Cowgirls would look like......Get Healthy, Go in to the playoffs on and up beat....and if Favre has to sit out a couple weeks to get right....let Rogers play and get some experience.....Sometimes for a young team they can learn more or gain more in the long run from a loss than a win....lets hope this is the case...they kept it respectable....I am ok where we are right now :-)

Brett Favre became the NFL career leader in yards passing Sunday, overtaking Dan Marino for his latest achievement in a milestone season.

It's all good....

Also, the Cowboys lost today as well, which means that we'll be rooting for the Panthers next week and the Redskins the week after.

Also, I think I was the only person in Lambeau with a Samkon Gado jersey on.
