I would say more than 2 yrs. Cleopatra and Antony had children together, both of which were old enough to run and talk easily.

^ya i was about to say the same thingoctavia's child was much older too

if you look the tv series up under wikipedia they have a lot of information about the show that is cool. Also under episodes they seem to have a summary of the last episode that hasn't come out yet. I wonder if its been leaked or the poster is full of shit?
3/21/2007 8:41:26 AM
Well if you know anything about history you pretty much know whats going to happen.
3/21/2007 8:49:48 AM
Well lets say i do for a minute...there are still plenty of ways they could go with which parts of the history to show, the plot with vorenus and pullo is their own fiction, and the show doesn't stick exactly to the history.
3/21/2007 9:33:57 AM
Thats why I said "you pretty much know whats going to happen". You know whats going to happen to all the historical figures, they may come up with a reason why something happened and we don't know what will happen with Pullo and Vorenus, but the basic plot and outcome for the last episode should be pretty clear.[Edited on March 21, 2007 at 10:42 AM. 3/26/2007 9:21:33 AM
this is the end?oh man, that sucksi was kind of hoping for infinity seasonsi mean, all the way up to the 5th century AD
3/26/2007 9:27:30 AM
great series by HBO. informative and entertaining. while it sucks it had to end, the story it set out to tell has been told. im curious as to what happened to pullo's kid/royal brat.
3/26/2007 9:37:22 AM
I suppose it is a good thing that they ended the show when it was good. I wouldn't have wanted it to start dragging on until it got bad. Although maybe in like a year or two they could do another season with a different portion of Roman history and new characters. It wouldn't be the same but if the same people made it, I think it would still be good.
3/26/2007 9:53:42 AM
I mean didn't Augustus (Caesar Octavian) rule was followed by like 200 years of peace? It's a good spot to end it.
3/26/2007 11:43:10 AM
My friend just pointed out to me that Titus Pullo and Lucius Vorenus were real soldiers. I thought they were fictional this entire time, this just made the show much more cooler imo. Here is the wikipedia entry under "Titus Pullo":
3/26/2007 11:49:14 AM
anything in there about what happened to caesarian?
3/26/2007 12:41:00 PM
^^though Pullo and Vorenus were real soldiers that were mentioned, their entire subplot is totally fiction. They were kind of mentioned in passing, and (if I recall) only mentioned in Caesar's campaign in Gaul, so there's no evidence they went to Egypt or anywhere else[Edited on March 26, 2007 at 2:40 PM. Reason : doesn't make 'em any less badass. <3 Pullo & Vorenus]
3/26/2007 2:40:09 PM
I wonder if they were as badass in person as they are in the show.
3/26/2007 5:51:57 PM
^most likely they are gay in real life
3/26/2007 5:55:40 PM
I can name 5 episodes of Rome better than the finale.Had its moments, but killing off a verenus(sp?), man, that rubs me the wrong way.he was the only person who didnt lie
3/26/2007 9:00:29 PM
I'm so pissed this show is overAnd I agree, the last episode wasn't anything special at all.And I'm pissed that Vorenus didn't tell his children he didn't kill their mother! Though, it almost seemed like they realized it/forgave him at the end.Oh well
3/28/2007 12:31:16 PM
he did kill the mother although indirectly. he cursed her to hades thus the gods killed her for him by making her jump off the balcony. so according to there thought process vorenus did kill her
3/29/2007 12:26:10 PM
I see what you did there, however they hated him for what the saw and assumed happened.
3/29/2007 12:44:55 PM
True, but Vorenus also pointed out in a conversation after his wife's death with Titus that if his wife hadn't jumped, he probably would have killed her anyway out of honor. I'm sure that he took the abuse in part because he does blame himself for his wife's death.
3/29/2007 2:05:55 PM
You are trying to apply modern values to ancient times. Vorenus was definitely going to kill her, so that's why he didn't protest their accusation. Also, by killing herself, his wife thought she was sparing Vorenus the hardship of killing her. She knew what had to happen. For them, there is no controversy.[Edited on March 29, 2007 at 4:56 PM.
