^ wont happenand it sucks cause i like Shaqand i like Dwadeand ive always liked AIbut I hate the HEAT
12/14/2006 7:43:08 PM
^^ I don't want to see Iverson playing a fucking 'role' - nobody does, he's not a role playerThat would be the biggest waste of talent and scoring since about ever
12/14/2006 7:51:58 PM
oh so youd rather see him score alot and fuck the rest of his team, never again come close to winning a ring....thats a fucking waste, if hed commit hed be nasty, and team be nasty, hes just a And 1 player on roids (not literally) in the NBA....and thats it
12/14/2006 11:15:32 PM
12/14/2006 11:40:07 PM
yeah i'm feelin buffalosweat with his posts about football but that AI statement is way off...just cause he broke Jordan's ankles his rookie season doesn't limit him to just an "And 1 player"Are Kobe and D-Wade (who have rings) just "And 1 players"? Sure they both had Shaq, but I mean damn, they are good ball handlers, thats important for guards, wow
12/14/2006 11:44:19 PM
yea people are fucking stupidallen iverson is a dude that can drop 30 easy, distribute the ball, AND play Dpeople act like he was a ballhog...who the fuck does he have to pass it to? Dalumbert? Webber?sshhhiiitttdude carried the 76ers on his back all his career, i been wantin him to get moved ever since he got em to the finals and got no fucking help
12/15/2006 12:43:23 AM
honestly hov...i want him on the heat cause they dont seem to be getting it done this year
12/15/2006 1:12:23 AM
I am a big Iverson Fan. He is still one of the elite players in the league and one of the 20 best guards of all time, easily. But let's not accuse him of playing good DEFENSE.He has led the league in steals because he plays passing lanes and gambles. He's not a horrible defender, but he is sometimes a liability against bigger NBA guards. Actually, he's pretty bad.Bill Simmons is saying what I've been thinking this whole timehttp://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=simmons/061213
12/15/2006 5:59:10 AM
he would be a great fit for the Heat and he wouldnt have to be "the man"its already DWades team, even Shaq knows this and bought into itShaq is a role player b/c Dwade is the man....hell Pat Riley wants him with the heatwe all know that Slick gets what he wantsAI was/is one of my all time fav players. I followed him all through college and would love to see him get a ring. he would kick start a stale Heat team. like dnl said, they aint getting it done this year
12/15/2006 9:22:34 AM
^did you read an article yesterday on how magic johnson was like "i dont think AI would be a good fit in miami"?
12/15/2006 12:30:00 PM
no, i didnt but i would like to gotta link?
12/15/2006 12:30:40 PM
http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20061214/sp_nm/nba_magic_dc_1its not that great of an article imo, i just read it cause at first i thought it was saying like it was a done deal and i was like wtf i didnt hear about this on espn[Edited on December 15, 2006 at 12:42 PM. Reason : .]
12/15/2006 12:41:50 PM
If philly makes a deal with miami they are fucking stupid. Miami has NOTHING to offer them. They have a bunch of washed up guys and two decent players in Dorell Wright and Udonis Haslem.I know Billy King blows but i mean come on
12/15/2006 2:49:44 PM
i can actually see miami dumb enough to get rid of haslem
12/15/2006 2:53:08 PM
12/15/2006 3:03:35 PM
Haslem and Iverson would be the worst teamates. Imagine the drug rings they would form.
12/15/2006 3:03:59 PM
speaking of drugs, who has some good reefer i can buy
12/15/2006 3:05:03 PM
Iverson is an awesome player. He was the best player on the 2004 Olympic team for gods sake.I guarantee he's gonna go off wherever he lands.and i found this funny
12/15/2006 3:59:00 PM
^ahahah
12/15/2006 4:10:04 PM
this is what i'm talking aboutwhen shaq came to miami, he had already started on a gradual downturn, just because his body couldn't keep up with anything close to an 82 game schedule anymorecomparing iverson coming to the heat to shaq's arrival there is apples and oranges, it's just a shame AI hasn't gotten the quality company he deserves yet
12/15/2006 4:14:45 PM
if he goes to the lakers, it will be the greatest backcourt ever.... on paper.
12/15/2006 11:06:47 PM
^^^^ so funny and so true. I honestly don't understand why everyone is talking about him accepting his role as a "role player" (I hate that over used term).......he is sick. He would only be expected to take a back seat to about 5 players in the league (kobe, wade, lebron, arenas, duncan) and I'm not sure about Arenas and Duncan. Iverson is still sick. He hasn't started this decline everyone is talking about.
12/16/2006 3:16:52 AM
i still think the bulls would be the best fitgordon, tyrus thomas and chicagos pick this year from NY
12/16/2006 3:49:28 AM
they wouldnt get rid of gordon by any means
12/16/2006 10:39:03 AM
they probably wouldn't. But they should. They'd still be a deep team and I think they'd be instant favorites to come out of the east. The Bulls shouldn't have traded JR Smith for a stack of pancakes.
12/16/2006 10:52:10 AM
theyre already favoritestheyve won 10 of 11 so far...granted it was a long homestand against mostly weak teams
12/16/2006 11:02:50 AM
they aren't coming out of the east with that roster....
12/16/2006 11:22:33 AM
the east has been shitty all year...no one is running away with the best record
12/16/2006 11:32:18 AM
As much as it pains me, Minnesota is likely to be AI's next stop.
12/16/2006 5:45:04 PM
they need to move him somewhere, he's on my bench in fantasy again
12/16/2006 5:49:16 PM
Dude on ESPN just said that this recent brawl may have hurt Denver's chances, and the Bobcats might make another big push.I don't think it will happen, but I'm not gonna give up hope.
12/18/2006 4:03:59 PM
He said no to Charlotte.
12/18/2006 5:13:59 PM
TRADE HIM ALREADY GOD DAMMIT
12/18/2006 5:14:40 PM
who cares what he wants ^^

12/19/2006 4:19:34 PM
Good trade for both teams.
12/19/2006 4:25:18 PM
DEfinately dropping JR Smith nowI guess Boykins will run point?
12/19/2006 4:38:22 PM
AI at point, JR Smith at the 2Boykins still coming off the bench, possibly playing both AI and Boykins at the same time some.
12/19/2006 5:26:52 PM
Wonder what Mello thinks. His ppg are definitely going down but Denver has a great chance to win it all.
12/19/2006 6:06:06 PM
What a great fucking trade for the Nuggets.Their first round pick isnt gonna be worth dick anyway.... who does the other first round pick belong to?Andre Miller WOWOWOOWOWOWOW not much to write home about. He rebounds well and can pass a little but he can't shoot or score. He's not washed up or anything but he's not a special player by any means.Joe Smith is garbage and is only good for his expiring contract. The Nuggets are fucking loaded now. This should open things up a lot for Carmelo and JR Smith. Camby doesnt require a lot of touches. If they can get ANYTHING out of Nene they'll be a serious contender. Iverson/Melo have plenty of time to figure out how to play together after the suspension is up. People dont realize it but Carmelo doesnt have to have the offense run through him to be a scorer. He proved himself a lot on the World team this summer. After the Nuggets complete meltdown in the playoffs last year and Iversons recent team struggles i think they'll both be willing to do what it takes to win games in the postseason.
12/19/2006 10:35:26 PM
denver should win a couple of championships with the staff and players they have now. i mean, like back-to-back dynasty shit.
12/19/2006 11:24:41 PM
the west is going to be so much fun to watch...
