So Jon, how long does it take to cash out $texas from party poker?
10/3/2006 5:21:57 PM
Heh. Look on the bright side c-flake, now you'll have plenty of time to finish up that degree.
10/3/2006 5:25:13 PM
bill fristhttp://www3.capwiz.com/y/mail/?id=540&type=CO&state=TN
10/3/2006 8:16:20 PM
So is everyone cashing out now?
10/3/2006 9:32:52 PM
Most of my money is sitting in neteller atm.
10/3/2006 9:40:51 PM
me too
10/3/2006 10:00:44 PM
my buddy has $100,000 in partypoker and he's not cashing out. That's some fucking balls, i'm a bit nervous about leaving $2,500 in there...
10/3/2006 11:18:34 PM
in principle, i'm against banning itin practical terms...well...i own stock in Shuffle Masterhttp://www.shufflemaster.com/
10/3/2006 11:21:50 PM
HAHA now whos laughing!! I got nothing but play money cuz i KNEW IT WOULD COME TO THIS ONE DAY LOLZ
10/3/2006 11:26:26 PM
you sir, are a moron.and duke, shuffle master only makes money for brick and mortar casinos.the more buzz, the more are bought.online play introduces players to live play, therefore inducing rooms to expand and lease more shuffle master machines.
10/4/2006 7:46:21 AM
Well, considering I've made thousands of dollars over the years I would say me. Ha...ha...ha[Edited on October 4, 2006 at 7:47 AM. Reason : ^]
10/4/2006 7:46:52 AM
someones already said this i bet but i cant read 4 pages nowi bet its because most online players dont pay taxes on what they win. if they would just put a flat rake on each hand and give that to the government(s), they would leave us alone.]
10/4/2006 7:52:55 AM
What do you mean a "flat rake"
10/4/2006 8:50:18 AM
I dont think many people understand the amount of taxes that brick and mortar casinos pay on a daily basis. When AC closed up shop in july, the NJ state government estimated a loss of around $2,000,000 per day from what they would have collected in taxes. And thats just 12 casinos, during weekdays.
10/4/2006 8:58:20 AM
^IOW, individuals must buy their civil liberties from the g0vt.
10/4/2006 9:39:48 AM
^ i'm not about to hate on them taxing casinos otherwise they'd be getting that revenue from somewhere else--like me (if i lived in NJ)
10/4/2006 10:00:07 AM
10/4/2006 10:13:10 AM
10/4/2006 10:23:26 AM
^ I agree with interest declining in live casino play. Not only does online increase interest in live play, in many cases it provides the funds to make casino trips and tourney entries possible.
10/4/2006 11:40:16 AM
Agreed. There is no way I would have made trips out to vegas, AC, New Orleans if I hadn't been making that money playing online.
10/4/2006 12:05:09 PM
my $ has officially been cashed out of all sites now
10/4/2006 1:24:26 PM
glad I won a few $10 SNGs last week then didn't have time to donk off all the winnings on tournies before withdrawing last night
10/4/2006 1:42:21 PM
you guys are seriously pulling all your money out of the sites?Aren't you worried that it will be hard to get the money back in???
10/4/2006 3:19:08 PM
im in "wait and see" mode
10/4/2006 3:25:37 PM
^^ i dont really like online poker anyways, like i said, it has been profitable, but i hate it
10/4/2006 3:29:28 PM
this may have been pointed out alreadybut conservatives are supposed to be about LESS govt interference, right?
10/4/2006 3:33:04 PM
^Don't pin this on us conservatives. There is a faction of us (in power right now) that are jackasses. This is not a conservative bill, this is a bullshit assault on civil liberties.
10/4/2006 3:58:12 PM
10/4/2006 4:13:01 PM
faction.. not fraction..rofleskates
10/4/2006 4:18:14 PM
lol @ me
10/4/2006 4:29:14 PM
LOL at the size of the WSOP Main Event purse next year...
10/4/2006 7:21:29 PM
so should i take my money out now?i don't have too much in there right now but it would be enough to pay my part of the rent this month. I don't know if it matters but most of my money is on pokerroom.com. Also, I use either neteller or firepay to cash out.
10/4/2006 11:50:32 PM
10/5/2006 7:41:37 AM
i bet some congressman lost his ass online and is like"I'M SHUTTING THIS SHIT DOWN RIGHT NOW!!!"
10/5/2006 7:50:05 AM
The thing that pisses me off the most is that this is such a political move. They don't really care that people are gambling, or else this bill wouldn't have conveniently made exceptions for HorseRacing and some other types of gambling.
10/5/2006 7:56:57 AM
Having followed this thread over the past few days, it was really funny to see ParBet.com recruiting at my school's career fair today
10/5/2006 8:01:57 AM
10/5/2006 9:24:51 AM
Haha. Democrats putting money into the education system with proper allocation? That's a good one.
10/5/2006 10:41:12 AM
?
10/5/2006 10:44:57 AM
The bill doesn't have anything to do with playing poker or the poker sites online or gambling sites. It is only going after American Banks and financial institutions. As long as you can find some way to get your money on the sites, and they stay open to US players, you will be fine.[Edited on October 5, 2006 at 12:40 PM. Reason : .]
10/5/2006 12:39:59 PM
^i've still got money in the sitebut how am i gonna cash it out
10/6/2006 12:20:00 AM
