this is definitely, unequivocally, one of the best television shows on this season. aaron sorkin is a great writer --and hell, after having worked in TV for a couple years, this stuff is *spot on*.
10/25/2006 10:14:11 PM
30 rock is better than this show
10/25/2006 10:15:52 PM
I am sick of people comparing 30 Rock to Studio 60. Studio 60 is categorized as a drama ie not a sitcom. Sure it has some laughs but its not meant to be setup, punchline.
10/25/2006 10:18:31 PM
funny > pseudo serious
10/25/2006 10:24:43 PM
Lost is better than The Rachel Ray Show.See how two shows don't have to be similar for one to be clearly better than the other?
10/25/2006 10:26:32 PM
30 rock and studio 60 are relatable...both shows have numbers in their titles denoting how many minutes eash show is in length
10/25/2006 10:28:33 PM
10/25/2006 10:56:40 PM
god this show sucks, its like taking all the bad parts from other shows and putting them together. how sappy was last week's show? i felt like i was watching some regurgitated 80's drama. jesus herbert christ, who would have guessed that the old man was an ex-cast member?!?!
10/26/2006 1:51:38 PM
He wasn't an ex-cast member.
10/26/2006 2:53:18 PM
yeah he was a writer that got blacklisted after getting one sketch on the show, and there was a parallel between him and matt, in that the reason they wrote well was to impress a chick.
10/26/2006 11:22:46 PM
Not THE show. Just a show that preceded Matt and Danny's show. But yeah, you got it.
10/27/2006 1:04:31 AM
it was still at studio 60 though. it was more or less the same show they just renamed the show after the studio.

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,226092,00.htmlI guess you guys are going to have to find something else to do on Monday nights now.
10/29/2006 2:55:26 PM
man i figured something was up b/c they said friday night lights would be monday at 9 this coming weekfuck, i liked this show
10/29/2006 3:31:19 PM
Im honestly surprised this show didnt at least get a full season run but at least they are trying to help friday night lights.
10/29/2006 3:32:49 PM
i really liked all of nbc's shows they had going there, hopefully FNL doesn'y get the axe too.
10/29/2006 3:49:42 PM
nbc isn't going to have pre-scripted sitcoms or dramas for the first hour of primetime in a cost-saving measure.
10/29/2006 3:51:23 PM
i know good tvthis isn't it
10/30/2006 11:17:10 PM
^^ so what the hell does that leave? An hour of Howie Mandel or Bob Saget every night?
10/31/2006 1:26:24 AM
^that and reality shows.
10/31/2006 12:36:20 PM
11/2/2006 1:27:30 PM
damnt nbc, you better not cancel Friday Night Lights before Studio 60
11/2/2006 1:29:28 PM
^^ hahahahaha why do you care so much?
11/2/2006 1:30:31 PM
11/2/2006 1:31:21 PM
11/2/2006 1:36:46 PM
damn, last I heard was they were ordering 3 more episodes and then canning it.
11/2/2006 1:40:20 PM
thats what we all heard. jon had planned a HUGE party but now ironically he had to cancel his event. Studio60 is laughing all the way to bottom of the Nielsons.
11/2/2006 1:43:45 PM
Seriously, if that shit gets canceled, we are gonna TEAR IT UP at my house. I'm talking strippers, mountains of yak, the whole nine yards.Hey, wasn't Matthew Perry in The Whole Nine Yards? Amanda Peet, too! THIS IS A SIGN.
11/2/2006 1:45:58 PM
hmmm, lets think here. Sign, Signs, Mel Gibson starred in Signs, Mel Gibson was also in Unbreakable with Sam Jackson. Now, Sam Jackson was in Die Hard 3 with Bruce Willis who was in THE WHOLE NINE YARDS! SOMETHINGS GOING ON HERE!
11/2/2006 1:51:20 PM
11/2/2006 1:53:39 PM
The Seventh Sign starred Demi Moore who was married to Bruce Willis who was, once again, in The Whole Nine Yards.

^ yep.. was thinking that..should be:
11/2/2006 8:11:45 PM
good show
11/6/2006 10:02:31 PM
Fucking excellent so far. I'm so pissed they're probably gonna cancel this.("I'm so pissed" LOL...I'm not really...now that I'm not a teen, I gotta get used to my shows getting the can...meh, I've watched my parents go through it and never really understood because Dawson's Creek/90210 didn't get cancelled in their first year, you know...)[Edited on November 6, 2006 at 10:31 PM. oh great, i love it when i get to go "behind the scenes" of someone's post on a message board.but yeah good show
11/6/2006 11:24:07 PM
they are not cancelling it. that article was a rumor, and it has been confirmed by NBC that it will not be cancelled in the near future. it is also growing a following. In the days of DVDs, once the first season is released, the second seasons ratings will pick up.
11/6/2006 11:30:32 PM
good i hope this show makes it, i really do
11/6/2006 11:38:28 PM
another poor showing in the ratings last night but a lot of that was due to the rednec...er CMA awards on ABC.
11/7/2006 3:06:35 PM
why dont they try swapping timeslots with heroes or something? heroes is extremely popular already and wouldn't suffer from the later timeslot, so maybe people would be more inclined to check out studio 60 if it were on sooner.i'm glad that they didn't leave friday night lights on mondays at least. that would be dumb airing a football tv show in direct competition with monday night football.save studio 60 website:http://www.savestudio60.com/[Edited on November 8, 2006 at 8:16 AM. i watched monday's ep last night and really enjoyed with where they took it...some drama with a set up for some more drama that could occur down the road (convo on the plane about Jordan working with NBS). i still love this show.
11/8/2006 9:31:02 AM
I really enjoyed the last episode...thought it was great and look fwd to finishing it. The past few weeks have really drawn me in III&FC
11/8/2006 10:53:35 AM
Yup, just got around to watching it. As usual, I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to next week!
11/8/2006 11:23:10 AM
the CSI: Miami bit was hilarious
11/8/2006 6:28:14 PM
Wait, if TV Shows are not allowed to use "Jesus Christ" as an expletive then how was the last Studio 60 episode made? I ask because this wouldn't be the first time it has been used that way on TV.
11/9/2006 9:07:48 AM
I didn't read all the way through, so if this was already posted, I apologize...Studio 60 has been picked up for a full season of episodes. So at the very least this (excellent) show will survive through this year.
11/9/2006 10:35:09 AM
YAY!
