so for the 360 version, they only did these teams' stadiums...here's the final list:ACC (10): Boston College, Clemson, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Miami, North Carolina, NC State, Virginia, Virginia Tech. Big-Ten (9): Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Ohio State, Penn State, Purdue, Wisconsin. Pac-10 (7): Arizona, Arizona State, Oregon, Stanford (last years stadium), UCLA, USC, Washington. SEC (10): Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Tennessee. Big 12 (9): Colorado, Iowa State, Kansas State, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas, Texas A&M. Big East (4): Pittsburgh, Syracuse, USF, West Virginia. C-USA (1): Tulane. WAC (1): Hawaii. MWC (2): BYU and San Diego State. Independents (1): Notre Dame. 54 Total
7/13/2006 4:47:46 PM
what did they do for the other teams, ie Duke? Use the same stadium models from the older games?
7/13/2006 4:50:12 PM
i think they called it "generic stadiums"? im not sure, maybe they just did some stadium that looks kinda like them but not in full detail with the weather timing and all that stuff as the game progresses....you know how carter-finley is at a 3:30pm game...the sun is going down and comes through the stands between the lower and uppder decks...that will be in the game and itll be night time by the time the 3:30pm games end...so amazing
7/13/2006 4:52:25 PM
word...at least they got CF! and from glancing over the list you posted it doesnt look like any medium sized program or bigger really got left out...i mean i'm sure Wake will be pissedoh wait...they should've had Boise State's blue field
7/13/2006 4:54:53 PM
i cant believe they didnt do Boise State's stadium^damn, beat me by 30 seconds, ha.[Edited on July 13, 2006 at 4:55 PM. Reason : amazing]
7/13/2006 4:55:23 PM
the army navy rivalry game is gonna suck in a generic stadium tooalthough the only reason i'd play that would be for the trophy and i'd pick the higher rated team and set the quarter length to overtime
7/13/2006 4:56:41 PM
well im sure they atleast made boise's generic stadium have blue turf...if not, thats a crime.so whos got a really fast connection? im still downloading the demo...i dunno if its the servers or if our roadrunner is being ridiculously slow...[Edited on July 13, 2006 at 4:59 PM. Reason : yeah]

I'd think stadiums will come in future downloadable content. Understandable that they didn't ahve time to get them all done for the 360.
7/13/2006 11:28:37 PM
wtf is wrong with my download
7/13/2006 11:57:55 PM
i hope the frame rate speeds up on stuff like the intro video and stadium views, in the finished product
7/13/2006 11:59:47 PM
^^we've been downloading ever since this time last night and we're only at 78%
7/14/2006 12:08:52 AM
whats the ratings like for our guys....like key players and all who does it have listed like they did with Hall and Lawson and of course super mario last year
7/14/2006 12:15:30 AM
uhhh, you can only play FSU vs UF
7/14/2006 12:19:56 AM
From Fairdale Kings roster site (he got his copy the other day and is working on rosters) It's a home game for us![Edited on July 14, 2006 at 7:03 AM. Reason : resized because it was too large]

This is the only time I will ever want a 360, this game alone.

The choice of AJ Davis is kinda suprising to me.I would have expected maybe Garland Heath(made huge plays last season) or Toney Baker, but maybe 2 impact RB's would be strange, haha.[Edited on July 14, 2006 at 9:59 AM. Reason : .]

iam tell people I can see myself in the stands in that picture up top

well i went to sleep and my download was at 1%...supposedlybut i woke up and it was done
7/14/2006 11:13:33 AM
I'd like to know how Ohio State's offense is an A- and Notre Dame's is an A+
7/14/2006 1:46:40 PM
well i can tell you for Notre DameCharlie Weis and Brady Quinn a nominee for last years Heisman...that would be how.as for Ohio State that is pretty tough to call. maybe a bias
7/14/2006 1:53:18 PM
ok, Weis doesn't PLAY so he shouldn't have an impact on their ratings.
7/14/2006 2:07:33 PM
the offensive coordinator for the 3 time superbowl champ new england patriots shouldnt influence notre dame's offensive rating? how do you figure that one?]
7/14/2006 3:28:22 PM
b/c in football, the OC CALLS plays. In the game, YOU are the OC so it shouldn't fucking matter who their coordinator is. It should be based on they players ratings.
7/14/2006 3:33:53 PM
its pretty much based on how the COACHES run the team u just pick the plays you dont develop the players, recruit them or do anything like that unless u are running a hyped up game...he has just as much to do with his offense being that good as the players in fact he may have MORE to do with it since he is the coach.youre not the OC really ur just a guy calling plays and relaying them to the players which have already been trainedi dont understand why WV's ranks are so low, to be preseason #1 and with all their offensive power how do u only become a B?
7/14/2006 3:37:09 PM
^^you are an ignorant bastard if you think Weis has nothing to do with the offense or the playcalling at notre dame

Demo is available on the XBOX marketplace btw
7/14/2006 3:57:35 PM
^yes, we all know, check like 2 pages back that early release vouched was posted on other forums where people have said it worked at walmarts. im sure theyre lying but i wouldnt put it past you that it probably worked at some walmart in cracktown, usa where they have the most ignorant and stupid workers. if i were to try it, i'd try walmart too cause EB would probably laugh in your face...

that coupon has an EA watermark in the backgroundbut the 800 number on it doesnt even workstill though maybe if the video game store employee was a dumbass it might work
7/14/2006 5:10:02 PM
Man I played the demo but I just don't get it - the graphics look horrible. The crowd in the background are like these ugly jaggy looking toolbags.Plus the turf/grass has zero detail to it....this is the xbox360 right? WTF, where's the beef?
7/15/2006 12:53:17 AM
key word- DEMO.
7/15/2006 1:15:49 AM
Yah right, so you are telling me what they put up there this past week will be any different than what's in stores in backrooms right now?
7/15/2006 1:29:03 AM
demo is an 85% build according to ea...fyi
7/15/2006 10:23:25 AM
How the fuck did we get a B+, the same score as FSU for example? And how is VT an A+?
7/15/2006 5:16:54 PM
a guy on psxsports.com told me state had 58 players on there roster and AJ Davis was a 91, Reggie Davis was a 90 at Fullback and Marcus Stone was an 82.

how is louisville's stadium not in there?damn i cant wait for this game to come out. i lost last year's game and have been ncaa-less the last few weeks. ncaa mvp baseball just doesn't do the trick.
7/15/2006 9:08:47 PM
heh good think we look a lot better on paper
7/15/2006 10:04:46 PM
I got to play the game early for some tournament at Gamestop. My impressions:The graphics were unimpressive. While everyone else thought they looked hot, I thought they looked awful. Maybe it was the big screen tv I was playing on. Maybe it was the poor contrast on the screen. Either way, I kept telling myself that the 360 version looked worse than Madden 06 on my X-Box. They just didn't look crisp and clean. When watching the PS2 version, Gameday 98 popped into my mind. They were outright bad. I bet that demo is very accurate of the actual graphics.Gameplay sucked. Maybe I'm bitter because I got my butt kicked in the tourney, I dunno. The playcalling menu sucked. The game played choppy and wasn't fluid at all. It was also very hard to really look downfield because the camera didn't pan back very well. Before I played this game, I felt that this would be the reason that I would have to find some kind of way to buy a 360. I could care less about getting a 360 now. Maybe when Halo 3 comes out or something.
7/16/2006 12:31:46 AM
well I played the demo last night for about 4 hours and I loved itI cannot wait to play the full game, and you guys are tards if you think the graphics don't look nice. They did a good job with the crowd too, much more realistic than most other sports games. The menu does suck though, that is the first thing I noticed.
7/16/2006 9:10:16 AM
good job with the crowd? Sure there's a lot of bodies up there but when they zoom in at all they look like absolute SHIT.The framerate is absolutely crap. The grass looks no better than the grass on the PS2 for fuck's sake.Total hose job, they aren't using the power of the 360 at all, you look at a game like GRAW then look at this and you want to vomit.
7/16/2006 9:54:30 AM
