So are the Bobcats going to spend some of that money on a free agent this year or next year...

and if so who is available and who would everyone want here?

^^ yeah after seeing Aldridge's dismal game against Glenn Davis I dont think that highly of him.

It seems like he was content to shoot hooks from outside of his range against a bigger body.

He certainly doesnt look like an impact player to me.

I want Gay and Carney is my 2nd choice.

^ Free agent class is VERY weak this year, but next years free agent class has been called the deepest in history. My guess is we're gonna wait until next year to make our move.

I want an athletic shooter but who knows

last year we had the 2nd worst record (?) and settled for the 5th pick (?)

I remember the Hornets barely missed the playoffs one year but got lucky in the lottery and got the 3rd pick and got a decent PG...some Baron Davis guy, I heard he was decent

I like those two, I havent seen Carney play much

But I really like Tyrus Thomas... problem with him might be offense however...

However if he Emeka, and Gerald Wallace are on the floor at the same time, we could be one of the best defensive teams in the league... might not score much though

Quote :
"The Charlotte Bobcats won a coin flip this morning with the Atlanta Hawks, guaranteeing the Bobcats will draft no worse then sixth in June.

The Bobcats and Hawks each finished the season 26-56, the third-worst record in the NBA. This coin flip broke that tie."

thank god.

So most likely we'll draft top 4 which means we can get Gay or Carney for sure.

If we draft Morrison Im going to fucking kill Bickerstaff. I'm still irate about Sean May over Danny Granger (what a surprise he was sick) and Gerald Green.

yeah Felton is now my boy but May is still a fat dump, though he will get another shot to prove he's not just a fat dump next season

haha on my NBA2K6 season the Nuggets offered me, straight up, Nene for Sean May...I was all over that shit

is gerald a free-agent or did he sign a longer extension?

also im sort of surprised they didnt trade brevin to a contender seeing how well rayray played during the latter part of the year. are they thinking of playing both together next year.

i agree with rally, im still not diggin the may pick.

Ray, Gerald, Okafor, May seem to be the only ones they can really build around. jumaine jones played good but just doesnt seem to fit in great.

im still likin rudy gay in this years draft. if we get screwed again and get a low pick it seems like we have a chance to get him seeing as thou his stock has dropped a little.

Im glad you guys came around on Felton

May will try again next year, i think he will be productive, not a superstar... they said when he came in he would have to make his body "similar to Karl Malone" which i dont think he can do, even though he isnt as 'fat" as everyone says...

And yes i recall reading they signed Gerald to a mad extension

Hell yeah that is a great idea.

Im all for Adelman.

He can coach for 5 years, then we can get a younger top notch coach like McMillan.

as soon as i heard that he wasn't coming back with the Kings, i instantly thought:

COME TO THE BOBCATS!

but they said on the radio he will probably take a year off or something, haven't heard the latest

year off would work fine. we'll need a new coach year after next, cause lets face it, they arent going to make big free agent moves this year. year after next will be the serious team, so might as well wait til then to get serious with a coach.
