8/26/2005 11:25:18 AM
Haha, decided I better not go there, haha, I'll leave it like this, don't feel like goin to your level packguy and just talkin shit. I'm here to talk about music, if you don't like Kanye, then PLEASE get the fuck out.All the people on the "Little Brother" bandwagon, I wish those guys the best of luck and I'll check out the album, but why not start ANOTHER thread dedicated to it instead of cluttering this one.[Edited on August 26, 2005 at 3:05 PM. Reason : .]
8/26/2005 3:03:09 PM
we're laughing at you because little brother is mainstreamthey already had a critically acclaimed albumregardless of what you do or dont listen toyou come across as that guy that turns on Direct FX everyday and derives all music experience from it.i dont like most underground stuff, im definitely not a backpacker, in the negative sense of the word, nor really in the positiveim just sayingyou sound gay.
8/26/2005 3:05:11 PM
Not going to start stupid shit on here, go about your business.[Edited on August 26, 2005 at 3:07 PM. Reason : .]

8/26/2005 3:08:03 PM
Haha, well, if you read my post and the whole time were thinking about putting a dick in a guy, well that's not my problem man, that's yours.I said I didn't think Kanye would have the album of the year, I only said it was the best SO FAR, and that means that it isn't better than "Little Brother" since it hasn't even dropped yet. And I was only stating that unlike a lot of artists, his second album was pretty good. Now what part of that is gay?
8/26/2005 3:11:21 PM
hahaha okwell im going to go listen to that guy, "A Tribe called Quest" now. i heard he's hot!!!HOTTT!!!!!!

8/26/2005 4:19:58 PM
i dont know how mainstream little brother really is...i mean just cause local cats know who they are...ask some average people from different parts of the country if they've heard of little brother...they're not mainstream just cause they're well known in the triangle of north carolina
8/26/2005 4:48:16 PM
they're mainstream b/c of 9th.like in that regardif youre talking hip hop fans, not just a random sampling of the music listening population
8/26/2005 5:27:01 PM
we'll agree to disagree
8/26/2005 5:30:15 PM
8/26/2005 5:31:53 PM
hahaha packguy you're killin me!!
8/27/2005 11:46:50 AM
how many times have you heard LB in a club? or seen them on rap city? or heard them on a radio station outside of north carolina? they're not mainstream
8/27/2005 8:36:51 PM
^exactly. their upcoming release is actually on a big label which may potentially help things - but LB is definitely not mainstream, not super well-known, but, might I add: The Chitlin Circuit 1.5 Mixtape is definitely solid-ZiP!-
8/28/2005 3:03:08 AM
Haha, yay, SUPPORT!Yeah, maybe after this cd drops and that video gets some play time and their songs get some air time, then MAYBE they'll be mainstream, and hopefully being on a major label will help. But like I said, they aren't mainstream, just building hype locally, but give them time, the one song I heard would make a good club beat.
8/28/2005 3:07:32 AM
Suge Knight took a bullet at Kanye's party last night.
8/28/2005 11:11:37 AM
if LB goes "mainstream" all the fair weather fans are gonna hop on board and i'm not sure that i want that. just because its not on some lil jon type shit doesnt mean its bad/good, mainstream/underground. it's good music period. its nice to hear a rap song in which guns/coke/hoes/chains aren't mentioned. there's more to life than that and there is more to hip hop than that.
8/28/2005 12:20:27 PM
for those of you who have never heard of Little Brother or any of the Justus League, here's a video for Little Brother's "Lovin it" single from his new album The Minstrel Show:http://www.nobodysmiling.com/hiphop/musicvideo/85009.php

track #3 is kinda the heatand dont even deny it-ZiP!-[Edited on August 29, 2005 at 1:12 PM. Reason : i saw that LB video hosted on like vibe.com or somethin like that, good stuff]
8/29/2005 1:10:35 PM
you know Little Brother doesnt like it when people call their tracks by track # and not title
8/29/2005 1:29:07 PM

8/29/2005 2:24:19 PM
i heard he's a tall dude
8/29/2005 2:24:43 PM
seriously thoughthey're not mainstream except in raleigh and durhamand that doesnt classify them as mainstream
8/29/2005 2:25:20 PM
you can argue the semantics of mainstream all dayill concede mainstream was a poor word choice given that their relevance has only spread so far as the hip-hop community, therefore cementing my assertion that ludachris is "that guy"
8/29/2005 2:26:40 PM
actually treetwista they have a fairly decent following all over the states, canada, and europe

8/29/2005 4:02:48 PM
i just addressed thatthey're definitely not undergroundakaif this kid is the head he thinks he ishe shouldnt be coming across like he ishowever i conceded that they aren't mainstream, and that it was the wrong choice of wording
8/29/2005 4:20:03 PM
