Who to start on D:

NE vs. Carolina

STL vs. Arizona

Tampa Bay vs. Buffalo (at tampa)

Obviously Arizona is the shittiest offense, but STL laid a fucking egg on me last week against SF, Tampa was really impressive last week and its at tampa, but buffalo has the potential to be explosive, same thing with Carolina... right now I am leaning towards Tampa

However many^
I didn't draft Vick, it was an auto-draft and I was given him. Vick can be awesome in the right game, especially if it's a league were rushing TD's are worth more than passing TD's.

Johnson COULD put up big number, but you should really avoid starting a non-starter.

Same reason I picked up Willie Parker, he's starting and the only healthy RB so he's sure to get more touches than DeShaun Foster or Chris Brown.

Yea I will probably never start him over them as long as their healthy and he is still backing up preist, but if McGahee dosen't start putting it in the end zone some I might consider it.

I guess the real question is should I try and trade johnson while he might be worth something or should I keep him as a back up just in case.

if it's a keeper league, hang onto him. otherwise, deal him for a good player in a weak area on your team.

I think its either NE or Tampa. I would say Tampa because they are playing the Bills and Losman will probably not throw for that much and maybe a few Int. i think, atleast i hope Carolina will score atleast 14 points.

^^^i'd say tampa with the way the shut down culpepper

and a "keeper" league is a league that you keep going for multiple years, where teams keep a set number of players from the previous year on their roster before redrafting. so if it was a "keeper" league i'd say keep LJ for his pretty decent value now and awesome future value (once he takes priests job, prolly this year or next). since you didn't know though, it sounds like it's a normal league, so if you can get a good deal for him i'd say trade him.

i would try to make a move this week though, in case he only gets a few carries in week 2 or something. his value is pretty good right now.

both my QBs played like shit last week

should i start Plummer against SD

im leaning towards PLummer since ATL's defense is better than SDs

Your team looks ok, except TE's. Last season Witten would have been an awesome aquisition, but from what I've been reading they're not sure if he'll get nearly as many looks as last year since the QB situation will be better and won't have to rely on him as much, plus the emergence of that Crayton guy didn't seem to help him either.

WR's appear to be ok, Horn had a weak performance last week but that's because they were running the ball down Carolina's throat all game, he should see a rise in numbers soon. I have Mason on one of my teams too, and he seems to be the go-to guy for the Ravens, so he's not a bad starter.

If you aren't worried about TE, then I'd just keep LJ, cause if Priest ever goes down or anything then LJ will be nice to have.

I'm debating between these:
edgerrin james
tiki barber
reggie wayne
steve smith
larry fitzgerald
larry johnson

I'm not really sure how to sit any of those 3 receivers this week. The person who stands to have the worst game is probably edgerrin james and how do you sit him? On top of that KC is playing oakland and larry johnson will prob end up with a good game there too even coming from the bench.

And I'd recommend you a D Jaybee, but none of those options look to clear-cut to me so I'd say it's a toss up.

STL - sketchy D, let San Fran put up 28 on them.
NE - great D, but Carolina is at home and they can be streaky sometimes, but I'm sure Delhomme will throw a pick or two, and Foster will probably fumble.
Tampa - good pass D, but I'm still not sold on their D after last week because Minny looked awful, and Buffalo looked good last week.

So I'd probably stick with NE, they're almost sure to have at least 2 turnovers.

WRs - Pick 3:
------
Anquan Boldin vs STL
Eddie Kennison @OAK
Lee Evans @TAM
Nate Burleson @CIN
Reggie Wayne vs JAC
Rod Smith vs SDG

Leaning towards Boldin, Smith, Kennison, and Wayne, but I still need to narrow it down. Thoughts?

I'd just match up with the weakest pass D's.

I'd definitely go Boldin and Kennison, but then it gets kinda hairy.

Nate could get some big yards if Culpepper screws his head on straight and gets back to business.
Wayne COULD get some looks, but with Manning(like Culpepper) you never know who he'll choose to pass it to all game.
Smith is definitely their best WR, but SD's defense is good and Plummer isn't very consistent, plus this offense is run first.

So start those first two, but then the third one is pretty much a toss up. I'd say Nate or Reggie though.

Just picked up Bledsoe from free agency, as I still needed a backup QB. I'll probably give him the starting spot until Eli proves he's consistent enough to be reliable.

Any thoughts on Hines Ward? My plan right now is to bench him (since he only earned 2 points last week and has a back injury) and start Donte Stallworth instead.

definitely Wayne, he should start every week.

I like McCardell because Champ is probably out this week for Denver

the other two... hmmm.... I guess I lean towards Burleson because I think that Cincy-Minn. game will be high scoring.

Ok, for QBs, I'm trying to decide between:

Joey Harrington
Gus Ferotte
and Drew Bledsoe

Before you comment on the shitty QBs, know that I have Randy Moss, Torry Holt, Plaxico Burress, and Joey Galloway as my top 4 receivers.

I think I'm going with Harrington still for now

or

i'm leaning towards Kansas City

but

I'm thinking the panthers might be fired up for a multitude of reasons, even with the loss of jenkins

It is tough to say which team is stuggling more; I would say Bears. I think jets are a 500 team at best Redskins are going to finish just ahead of the bears record at 6-10 bears 5-11.
harrington??? why not..

definitely start smith or kennison over wayne

both are the go to guys

smith put up 80 yards and a touchdown the last time he met the patriots and they had a much stronger d then

kennison racked up 14 catches 228 yards and a td against the raiders last year

wayne is behind harrison and against a strong baltimore defense.

smith and kennison will put points on the board while wayne contributes about 50 yards on 3-4 catches and no scores
