That article said its possible cuz of a tight groin. But it didn't sound serious, and they're going to call up another supposedly good pitching prospect to get the start Wednesday.[Edited on May 3, 2005 at 4:18 PM. Reason : Page 4]
5/3/2005 4:17:43 PM
Sweet Heaven, I hope the young prospect is good. I can't remember the last time the Yankee pitchers have performed so poorly shitty.
5/4/2005 12:48:49 PM
Yeah really...GET RID OF KEVIN BROWN. Jesus Christ6 runs in the first inning to TAMPA BAY...goddamn. And that's like the third time he's given up 4+ runs in the first inning.AL is hitting .346 against him. It may be time to sit him a bit until he can figure things out.
5/4/2005 1:23:06 PM
5/4/2005 3:11:11 PM
oh shit, he's having some tough gamesafter he gets 2 wins you'll be praising his name
5/4/2005 3:51:42 PM
^^ zing! no i'ev been calling for his ass outta the Bronx since HE PUNCHED A FREAKING WALL AND BROKE HIS HAND IN THE PLAYOFFS. whack ass old man.welp this is going to be a loooong season.
5/4/2005 3:57:27 PM
^^you won't see me praising him, given how much he's sucked since right before breaking his hand. Should have canned his ass then!
5/5/2005 2:36:59 AM
Kevin Brown is teetering on the brink of being my alltime favorite Yankee!
5/5/2005 8:54:55 AM
5/5/2005 10:06:16 AM
hahahhahahaONE FALSE MOVE AND YOU'RE DEAD CASHMAN
5/5/2005 11:20:56 AM
Ok, you gotta be worried now having lost three to the DRays and then losing to Barry Zito who's been lit up by everyone and spotting the awful Oakland offense six runs.
5/6/2005 10:34:37 PM
Just finding ways to lose right now. That can't last all season. It just can't.
5/6/2005 10:40:23 PM
agreed
5/7/2005 2:54:46 AM
you know how there's always that asshole on the road with the expensive sports car that weaves through traffic at 100mph when everyone is goin 60-70. All you think is "I hope they wreck"Well, that's the Yankees. And they're wrecking.
5/7/2005 11:44:11 PM
it is funny how even the Boss couldnt even win at the Derby...with what was thought to be a sure fire win come on its funny.
5/7/2005 11:50:57 PM
Moose was clutch yesterday, but Brown is pitching today. I hope he doesn't screw it up.
5/8/2005 1:34:31 PM
OH MY GOD...Brown pitched well. Yanks won 6-0.His first warm-pitch hit the backstop on a fly and then hit allowed 5 hits in 7 seven innings. He got out of a no-out bases loaded jam and a two-out bases loaded jam.A-Rod homered in the fourth and Tino and Posada hit back-to-back homers in the eighth. Good job Brown. I won't call for your head today, but don't get comfortable.
5/8/2005 4:54:45 PM
Yeah, I saw that too. However, it's only one game.
5/8/2005 4:55:54 PM
That's why I said no need to get comfortable.Let's see him do it consistently, then I'll stop praying before he pitches.
5/8/2005 5:09:06 PM
I told you that you guys would be praising Brown
5/8/2005 8:38:13 PM
You didn't tell me shit.I'm praising this performance, not Brown. This particular pitching performance was praiseworthy; that's all I'm saying.
5/8/2005 10:38:29 PM
damn, Yankee's fans gettin hostile in the face of defeat
5/8/2005 10:55:03 PM
Nothing hostile here. I'm happy to see two wins in a row. I'm hoping its a sign of them righting the ship. Johnson's got the ball with a little momentum for the first time in a month, so I'm excited to see how it goes.
5/9/2005 12:29:51 AM
5/9/2005 1:16:48 AM
The guys on the YES network are officially the worst announcers I've ever heard in MLB
5/9/2005 11:51:05 AM
Randy Johnson gives eight strong innings. Two-run homer by Tino...MUCH needed 4-3 win. Rookie Weng is starting tonight against Sele. GO YANKS!
5/10/2005 9:14:18 AM

5/10/2005 11:15:35 PM
will they release Giambi...please.. for the love of money...please.
5/10/2005 11:54:53 PM
^looks like he's gonna consent to being demoted down to the minor leagues...which is what he needs, thats for damn sure.
5/11/2005 2:47:18 AM
wow.. really? i hadn't heard that..
5/11/2005 11:26:49 AM
that'd be so hot to see a minor league game with him...he'd probably rock so many pitches out
5/11/2005 11:34:04 AM
GOOD...that's the kind of thing he needs to get his confidence back.David Justice was right; he's not swinging at bad pitches, really, he just can't hit what he DOES swing at cuz the swing sucks right now and he has no confidence cuz of this extended slump.
5/11/2005 1:25:50 PM
TINOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO 3 run homer just now!
5/11/2005 3:05:10 PM
yeah he can join his brother in the minors the giambi's and the canseco's poster children of steroid benefits
5/11/2005 3:45:08 PM
MUCH MUCH needed five-game win streakPLEASE GOD let's keep stringing em together now. Let's just get rolling and stay there.
5/11/2005 4:38:27 PM
THANK GOD...that's six games in a row.PLEASE GOD keep it up tonight.Kevin Brown's on the mound against the A's. Keep it rolling, Yanks!
5/14/2005 2:41:36 PM
If Brown can manage to hang in there for another good start, and the yanks win...then they should pull to .500 tomorrow with Johnson on the mound. The A's cant hit a lick.
5/14/2005 3:35:29 PM
