it's also kind of weird that like.. 100 years from now, the decades of the 1900s won't ever matter lol. Like we have a lot of popular and world culture burned into our brains (quote of the day, Pee-wee herman etc), but those decades (in the 1900s) will cease to matter after the 21st century has passed

even though we came up with a shitload of breakthroughs in the 20th century, so maybe they'll be more easily remembered by history - considering the sheer frequency of the advancements made in the 20th (and presumably 21st) century

who knows

it depresses me I won't be around to see how things are
