I, too, need new jeans. My favorite pair had a worn spot that finally busted through. I want jeans that aren't mom jeans, but I need to be able to crawl on the floor with kids in them.

Buy everything off ebay!

But I also recommend going to Belk Tuesday or Wednesday night and just trying on a gazillion pairs in a bunch of brands until you find the perfect pair.

For less expensive jeans, I think American Eagle is the bomb. Good quality, good price, and a bunch of different rises/styles/rinses.

I might patch them myself, but they are really too big. I was 30 pounds heavier when I bought them.

My Lucky jeans are falling into disrepair with the holes getting bigger every time I accidentally stick my toes in the knee when I put them on.

I have an issue with wearing things that people have worn before me. I can overlook it if it's something super vintage and super cute....otherwise it skeeves me out!

so ebay is hard for me

What are some good brands that aren't going to break the bank? I think most of mine are Levis, but I'm willing to step it up for a pair or two. Probably wouldn't spend more than 75 or 80 bucks a pair. If they were awesome I might spend 100. I usually spend 40 or less.

I swear by GAP jeans...especially if you're a "curvy" gal

there's a lot better jeans, but you're not ready for that price point lol

Yeah. One day I will have something awesome, but right now my jeans get treated pretty rough. Climbing trees, crawling on the sidewalk covered in chalk, and riding the kids around on my back pretending to be a horse. When I'm ready for an extra pair just for going out I will start a fund.

Do gap jeans stretch out like old navy jeans? Every pair I bought from there fit great for about an hour and then the shape just vanished and even I had a saggy butt.

This topic is just reminding me I still can't fit the jeans I want to wear, and I may never be able to.

Why do the highest, most flattering rises come in only the smallest sizes?!?!

I'm either rocking a muffin top or constantly hiking my jeans up. Tempted to just go straight drawstring pants until I can shave off another 15 pounds and wear my jeans from 10+ years ago.

I cant find jeans that are long enough without being too loose. If they fit right, they are too short

Good jeans are gonna stretch out no matter what you do...they just take a little longer to do so

GAP jeans will stretch out, but they last a little longer than Old Navy

I've never tried AE so I can't vouch for them. I've heard good things though, and actually would like to try a pair.

I need to take my 6 pairs of sevens in to be patched....I miss them

I used to wear American Eagle all the time in highschool. I will try there and Gap I think. When I decide to go all out what brand should I look at and how much should I save?

speaking of jeans...

i bought a brand new pair of jeans on ebay that are too short for me...i thought they would work with flats but i just don't like them which makes me sad because this brand of jeans looks AMAZING on me...i was quick to jump on them and ignored that there was no return...

they are Rock & Roll Cowgirl brand which is very similar to Miss Me...only not quite as expensive. They are actually way blingier than I'm comfortable with as well.

anyway...if anyone is interested in some blingy pocket jeans in size 30x32 (roughly a size 8) just let me know

Also just walked in to Belk by all the party dresses--DivaBaby19 let me be a date to one of your events please? I wanna get all dolled up.

actually loft does have nice trouser jeans

I've gotten some at GAP before, but they're not a staple so they might not have any

also elkbaby you should volunteer for our auction committee...you get to come to the Gala (though you're helping, you get to dress up!!!)

I got some gap curvy jeans today. They only had a long in my size so I need to get them hemmed, but otherwise solid purchase with their sale. Didn't have enough time to check out trouser jeans. Perhaps tomorrow?

If we ever hold that swap, I've got a brand new pair of trouser jeans with tags on that's going.

Forgot to take them back in the return deadline :/

So I went shopping exclusively for jeans. I've discovered that long jeans definitely fit me better except for the fact that they're too long.
This explains why I used to insist that I was tall and buy only long pants. I didn't buy anything, and I still hate jeans.

^How old is that picture? It reminds me of the 90s for some reason.
