Also, if its just exhibition, why's it such a big deal if he goes anyway? Its not like if he plays and he's not eligible they have to go and take wins away or anything.

Good news is that if he is not eligible we can call UNC "Upperroom North Carolina"

AND my degree from NC State still seems legit.

Negative thing is... UNC will pick him up and he will magically become eligible

It's probably not best in this day and age to go flaunting things in front of the NCAA. Especially if they are reviewing the eligibility of a player or institution the player went to.

In any case, this sucks. So our team building trip to Spain is basically not going to include any of our starting backcourt

Not having Purvis there sucks, but I'm kinda glad Brown won't be playing and Lewis will be getting the lion's share of the minutes at PG. We're really going to need him to play some important minutes this year. Getting a lot of burn against international competition is going to help a lot.

We know what Brown can do....Lewis is the unknown that a lot of our hopes are riding on. Our depth in the both the backcourt and frontcourt will be our weakness this year. A great year to have the Spain trip to give them some extra time to build it up.

noticed the N&O tried to slip in "investigates" in the headline about Purvis as if there was something known/allegated.. they ended up changing it at some point today after they got called out on it. the UNCCH fans came out of the woodwork to throw some rocks around their glass house as well.

I told you it was coming. No way we ride into a the season preseason #1. Just hope that this is the end. If so, we've weathered the storm because i was expecting some type of season ender to brown or leslie.
