if i were him i'd go now while that 13 pick season is still slightly relevant. after another year's time he might slip from the 3-4 round down to the 6-7th.

i hope he does stay and gets his shit right though. maybe being able to use his size to press receivers instead of being told to play a 10 yard cushion is just what he needs.

That Amerson quote is just insane. How the fuck does NC State end up with players like this repeatedly? In about 3 months, we'll probably be reading a similar quote from CJL - "Yeah well I was just concerned about getting my points, I did not really care about trying to pass to my wide ass open teammates".

I actually think that wouldn't be something an NFL team would want to hear. Not only is it not an excuse as to why you played so piss poor, but it's also telling them that you put your desires ahead of the team and that you're not a team-first player. Not that he was going to go before the third round, but I actually think statements like that show immaturity, selfishness, and overall a lack of commitment/effort. Could cause him to slide even further.
