classic 2011-2012 Action Cats gameplan, inherently built for losses...offense spends 2 nanoseconds on the grass, scores early and often, wears down own D which is chronically thin,, opposing team acquires and retains momentum, thus winning.our only hope is that we're playing TB
12/4/2011 1:32:43 PM
luckily their best offensive player didn't start and their best defensive player Talib is already out
12/4/2011 1:34:06 PM

12/4/2011 3:25:08 PM
Cam Newton's a fucking touchdown vulture. Give that damn ball to a RB.
12/4/2011 3:29:02 PM
^ fuck off
12/4/2011 3:29:37 PM

12/4/2011 3:33:21 PM
anybody still wish we drafted Dareus or Fairley or Petersen or Gabbert? Newton needs 5 more rushing touchdowns to break Eric Dickerson's rookie record [Edited on December 4, 2011 at 3:37 PM. Reason : .]
12/4/2011 3:33:56 PM

12/4/2011 5:08:47 PM
Dalton didn't do much today, granted against the Steelers
12/4/2011 5:11:50 PM

12/4/2011 5:13:53 PM
I think the Dalton crowd just want to be differentthe whole wins thing don't feel as relevant because a rookie QB can't control what their respective defenses (and kicker with chipshots) do for them
12/4/2011 5:16:17 PM
basically using some fancy stats to say Dalton should get it because statistically he's a better passer but i mean
12/4/2011 5:27:22 PM
that whole article is a load of bullshit. Bad Decision Rating? are you fucking kidding meCincinnati may have been bad last year, but they have had consistency with coaching. the Panthers are in a transitional phase, and as one would expect, there are some bumps along the way. new scheme, rookies starting at key positions, etc. Newton has been responsible for 26 touchdowns after today. Dalton? 18. that's a difference of 48 points, 56 if you count extra points with the TD.
12/4/2011 5:28:52 PM
The Bengals were bad last year due to chemistry problems and locker room issues. Remember that the year before last they won the difficult AFC South on the strength of their defense and their running game. They still have basically the same defense and running game.
12/4/2011 6:45:52 PM
That article is a load of shit. Yes, Newton has a ton more yards, touchdowns, passing yards, rushing yards, rookie records, veteran records, but look at the crucial yards-per-pass-attempt-for-attempts-greater-than-11-yards stat, Dalton blows him out of the water by 2.3 yards-per-pass-attempt-for-attempts-greater-than-11-yards!!! Oh and Dalton's defense and special teams are great, thus Dalton is solely responsible for getting his team near the playoffs.
12/5/2011 10:28:23 AM
Bengals were 7-2 because of their schedule. Look what happens when they play good teams.
12/5/2011 10:31:05 AM
from MMQB
12/5/2011 12:14:30 PM
yeah i don't know what game he was watching, but yesterday the Panthers were the better team.
12/5/2011 12:18:08 PM
I played around a bit with the ESPN Playoff tool. To make the playoffs with the rest of the league wins decided by win%, I think the Panthers have to win out, Falcons can go 1-3, and Detroit goes 0-4
12/5/2011 12:52:02 PM
one thing that seems to have been overlooked is that not only did Cam break the rushing TD mark for a QB, but he currently leads the NFL in rushing TDs.Newton-13McCoy-12A. Peterson-11that's some pretty good company, and if he keeps this up, no way Dalton beats him out for ROY
12/5/2011 2:06:37 PM
set em up
