Sam Hurd is probably the only WR out there crazier than Marshallactually, Sam Hurd is just a retard, Marshall is the most batshit WR in the league]

boggles my mind how much he sails passes, hasn't improved in it really at all
1/29/2012 9:59:06 PM
Not encouraging to see, but if there's a silver lining, it's that Cam is seeing he's not "there" yet. He's obviously nowhere near the Rodgers, Brees, Rivers level, and that's gonna eat him up.Hopefully he busts his ass this offseason, works on his footwork and accuracy, and doesn't get booed at next year's Pro Bowl.
1/29/2012 10:02:36 PM
I really don't care at all about this game. The whole NFC side clearly doesn't give a shit and it includes Cam. I can't really fault them for it since the game doesn't matter. The AFC has stepped it up big time on D and in the running game.[Edited on January 29, 2012 at 10:19 PM. Reason : ]

Hurts to say, but it looks like Dalton is dominating Cam Newton so far
1/29/2012 10:22:11 PM
The winning players get $25k each. Cam's blowing it for the NFC.
1/29/2012 10:24:37 PM
they're booing the shit out of Cam
1/29/2012 10:26:29 PM
Either the saints linemen don't deserve to be there, or they are letting the defense through because a division rival is back there.
1/29/2012 10:27:47 PM
If this game is any indication, Rob Chudzinski is a miracle worker.
1/29/2012 10:28:37 PM
^^Jahri and Carl are beast, but they're not trying cause its the Pro Bowl
1/29/2012 10:30:43 PM
Haha yeah, it does look like the Saints linemen aren't blocking at allCouldn't see who the receiver was on that last pick
1/29/2012 10:31:08 PM
people acting as if the pro bowl is a real game ITT

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=jc-cole_peyton_manning_colts_neck_surgery_jim_irsay013012"sources" doubtful Manning will play again
1/30/2012 11:04:52 PM
If he doesn't play again I'm sure a team somewhere will pay him good money to be a QB coach.
1/31/2012 1:13:54 AM
he's too good at what he does (or did) to be a qb coachit's nearly impossible for people that talented to coach players that aren't as talented/have the same natural ability that they do
1/31/2012 1:18:33 AM
Apparently Luck is the 2nd coming of Jesus, so Manning can totally coach him.
1/31/2012 1:19:44 AM
^^several great athletes have gone on to be great coaches, and I believe Manning has the right kind of attitude and patience to work with younger QBs.
1/31/2012 1:24:25 AM
The real story here is that we should all go to Rob Lowe for our breaking sports info from now on
1/31/2012 1:37:02 AM
1/31/2012 1:50:59 AM
^Because so many of them got significant playing time for another team to want to take a shot... What would Matt Cassel be right now if Brady hadn't been hurt in 2008?
1/31/2012 2:04:54 AM
Exhibit A on why the Giants will win:NY will be able to slow down Brady's no hurry attack better than any other team has been able to
1/31/2012 12:28:41 PM
1/31/2012 12:55:23 PM
i bet he's going to say Mike Singletaryobviously the answer is Kevin Greene
1/31/2012 1:10:11 PM
Its harder for great players to become coaches, because they can't understand why everyone isn't as good as they were. Average players like John Harbaugh and Phil Jackson saw the game differently, and know how to pass that info along.
1/31/2012 1:53:18 PM
Bill Russell
1/31/2012 2:00:53 PM
Bill Russell was only a good coach when he had Bill Russell playing for him
1/31/2012 2:21:40 PM
Bill Russell was also a bigger asshole than John Rocker. He would get torn apart in the Internet era.
1/31/2012 2:22:37 PM
Ditka
1/31/2012 3:34:39 PM
Sidney Lowe
1/31/2012 4:11:36 PM
Ditka wasn't a transcendent player like Manning ishe was also a former TE coaching the all-time greatest defensenot quite like one of the greatest QB's ever being a QB coach
1/31/2012 5:46:51 PM
Ditka was the first TE ever inducted into the HoF.
1/31/2012 5:55:13 PM
that doesn't make him transcendent
1/31/2012 5:56:22 PM
This is some hardcore goalpost shifting here. You wanted us to name one great athlete that made a good coach.I think making the hall of fame at a position that receives very little HoF love counts as a great athlete.
1/31/2012 6:04:31 PM
Ditka is a perfect answer.Deal with it.
1/31/2012 6:07:22 PM
Jim HarbaughTony DungyHerm Edwardswhile not GREAT like Ditka, still solid answers.Ditka is the obvious answer here.[Edited on January 31, 2012 at 6:12 PM. Reason : d]

phil jackson would be a good example
1/31/2012 6:41:54 PM
I can't tell what you're arguing exactly. Why specifically doesn't Ditka work as an example of a great player becoming a great coach?
1/31/2012 7:12:48 PM
Yogi Berra, hands down.
1/31/2012 8:35:39 PM
Sidney Rochell Lowe
1/31/2012 8:42:46 PM
This goalposts jargon is new to me, but I really like it. I'm going to do this all the time now to avoid admitting I'm wrong. It's a beautiful thing.
1/31/2012 8:49:29 PM
so is tom brady really talked about as one of the best of all time? mcnabb says he thinks he is. idk i mean i can't say he isn't. but i don't feel like he is.
2/1/2012 10:53:57 PM
it isn't even debatable yes, he's an all time greatwith a win on Sunday, he is in the discussion as the greatest of all time
2/1/2012 11:15:54 PM
oh thats what i meant. greatest of all time. mcnabb said greatest of all time. thats what the headline said
