Damnit, Brady is done for the day. Down 40. Need Knowshon to pick it up huge, Roddy White to suck and a TD from either Housh or Leon Washington at some point shortly. Maybe both.
10/18/2009 6:33:21 PM
Wait, you have Brady and you're still down 40?
10/18/2009 6:40:30 PM
my team shit the bed
10/18/2009 6:57:06 PM
packers D, schaub, wes welker, and colston FTW!!! still have michael tuner too woot woot
10/18/2009 7:18:16 PM
NEED TRADE ADVICEWould you give up Adrian Peterson and Greg Jennings, for Andre Johnson, Steven Jackson and Kevin Smith? My RBs are Adrian Peterson, Jamal Lewis, Julius Jones, Jerius NorwoodMy WRs are Reggie Wayne, Greg Jennings, Eddie Royal, Devin Hester, Jeremy MaclinI could take the trade, have Reggie Wayne and Andre at my receivers every week, with Steven Jackson and Kevin Smith as my RBs...or I could decline and have ADP + either Lewis/Jones with Reggie and Jennings as my top WRsAs much as I like AP, I'm about to probably drop to 2-4 this week in a 12 team league where only the top 4 teams make the playoffs (thanks McNabb today, and thanks Jets defense last week)...I need to get something going]
10/18/2009 7:23:07 PM
motherfuck, second highest point total and i'm losing by 9. need knowshon to suck cock and the broncos D to be suffocating
10/18/2009 7:40:37 PM
^^^^^ Yeah. Our league is fairly deep, 3 wr, 2 rb, 1 te, 1 flex, 2 defense. And QB's are tds = 6 and 10 yards = 1 point. Brady was worth 80 points I'm only down 23 now. Buffalo D has really come up huge for me. I need Leon Washington to run for a td, the Buffalo D to sack/int for a td, or something though. Knowshon, Greg Olson and Matt Prater vs his Roddy White, Broncos D and 23 points. And we both currently have the high scores for the week. And if I had Colston in I would be nearly winning. Fuck!
10/18/2009 7:56:10 PM
GIVE ME ADVICE ON MY TRADE, I BOLDED IT AND SHIT
10/18/2009 8:02:56 PM
I wouldn't do it. You would be stacked full of RB's on bad teams. You would be getting a bump in WR's, but it wouldn't offset the loss of AP.Do Not Make That Trade. After the Pitt game next week, the Vikings schedule gets nice for the run....and with Clifton back, the Packers offensive line should be back on track to get Jennings the long ball.DO NOT MAKE THAT TRADE.
10/18/2009 8:11:38 PM
do you think I should offer another player in the league (whether or not he accepts), AP and Jennings for Deangelo, Marshawn/Leon and Roddy White? Any advice on how to make my team not suck quite as much?maybe I'll just put ADP on the trade block and see what kind of outlandish offers I can get[Edited on October 18, 2009 at 8:18 PM. Reason : .]
10/18/2009 8:16:26 PM
forte sucks again
10/18/2009 11:29:55 PM
fuck you matt forte. fucking fraud.
10/19/2009 12:04:28 AM
a lot of players had big games today, and several of them were on my opponent's teams and none were on mine
10/19/2009 12:11:39 AM
down 21 pts coming into tonight. Got Rivers and Orton, but im sticking with Rivers and hoping he throws a couple TDs.
10/19/2009 10:06:29 AM
dont make that trade TreePanthro is rightMIN's schedule is gonna be good for AP down the next few weeks[Edited on October 19, 2009 at 10:21 AM. Reason : Panthro, PM]
10/19/2009 10:20:55 AM
someone is offering me (verbal atm) Larry Fitzgerald for Brent Celek and Greg Jennings. I'm thinking I might bite since I do already have Dallas Clark putting up more pts/game than Celek and LF is obviously stronger than GJ so far.[Edited on October 19, 2009 at 10:31 AM. Reason : ]
10/19/2009 10:30:59 AM
you would get LF for Celek and GJ?
10/19/2009 10:35:05 AM
correct. just a verbal at work atm though, nothing officially sent in game.[Edited on October 19, 2009 at 10:40 AM. Reason : ]
10/19/2009 10:39:07 AM
take that trade in a heartbeat
10/19/2009 10:41:38 AM
if for no other reason than fitzgerald has st. louis on his schedule two more times, take that trade.
10/19/2009 10:58:19 AM
yep, hoping he puts it through yahoo today before he changes his mind Also really hoping that Rivers is a better choice than Orton tonight...we'll see. Actually forgot to mention that I have V. Jackson too. So P. Riv and Jackson left while being down could be a blessing or a curse. [Edited on October 19, 2009 at 11:15 AM. Reason : ]
10/19/2009 11:04:23 AM
Rivers is always a better choice than Orton[Edited on October 19, 2009 at 11:42 AM. Reason : especially with LT being a dud for a second year in a row]
10/19/2009 11:41:54 AM
FYI, this thread is bullshit.Advice given by people who are just guessing themselves. No Guru, experts, or psychics here.Grant and Forte combined for 14 points. Ray Rice and D. Williams on the bench combined for 59 points. FUCK EVERYONE!/rant.
10/19/2009 1:36:42 PM
^you're a fool if you think people can give you a perfect pick every timeso, am I an idiot for turning down a trade where i give Breaston for Santonio Holmes? They are both reasonably productive, but Arizona's schedule seems wayyyyy easier down the stretch than Pitt's does.not to mention Boldin may be injured..[Edited on October 19, 2009 at 1:43 PM. 10/19/2009 1:42:52 PM
I don't know who told you to start those guys, but that was pretty retarded to sit ray rice down. Had I seen you suggestion, I would have probably said to start Rice and Forte and I would have still been half wrong. Grant is garbage though. You have to pay attention who is answering your questions too.

10/19/2009 3:11:19 PM

10/19/2009 3:15:14 PM

i thought i had no chance when my opponent had both Slaton and Daniels put up 19 eachthen i had randy moss and thomas jones put up about 30 each lol, in addition to deangelo's 29[Edited on October 19, 2009 at 3:29 PM. Reason : ]

I've got D. Williams and M. Forte because some dude traded me Williams for Manningham.Forte is basically a bust at this point. So is Grant. Bunch of slackers.
10/19/2009 3:43:02 PM
^ traded you straight up?Is he some kind of giants fanatic? My league would never have let that happen.[Edited on October 19, 2009 at 3:46 PM. Reason : But yeah I didn't believe in Forte before this season. 1y wonder. Or Slaton, but he's been alright]
10/19/2009 3:44:35 PM
he also gave me Lee Evans, but I dropped that slacker right away. He sucks too.
10/19/2009 5:18:12 PM
thanks for finally showing up eddie royal, just happens to be the week i forget to switch out calvin johnson and im playing against tom brady...now you have to score 60 more points and i have a chance.[Edited on October 19, 2009 at 9:43 PM. Reason : yea]
10/19/2009 9:43:02 PM
need like 5 more pts b/w P. Riv and V. Jackson...al;dfl;ajf fumble...make that 7 pts needed between those 2.[Edited on October 19, 2009 at 10:55 PM. Reason : ]
10/19/2009 10:51:40 PM
damn, 182-131 final. fuck you tom brady and calvin johnson
10/20/2009 12:10:30 AM
Should I drop Maclin for either Fargas, Sammy Morris or Mike Bell? (non-PPR)I am weak at RB and those are pretty much the best 3 available unless you count Derrick Ward
10/20/2009 12:13:26 AM
You've got to be pretty weak to pick up one of those. I guess Bell would be your choice. What about this one:Get: Kevin Smith & Peyton ManningGive: Kurt Warner, Chris Johnson, and Cedric Benson I already have MJD and Thomas Jones and we start 2 rbs and 1 flex. Not PPR if that matters.
10/20/2009 12:50:09 AM
No official word on Calvin yet, but there is a chance that he doesn't play next week as well.
10/21/2009 9:20:32 AM
Pick 2: (PPR)Marion Barber ATLAhmad Bradshaw ARITim Hightower @ NYG
10/21/2009 9:47:27 AM
i'm in the midst of trying to establish a payout structure in my second league that we started a couple years ago...but did no money our first year and then last year we kinda hand-waived a system since one guy ended up winning reg season and playoffs and one or two people managed to not pay.what do you guys' leagues do for payout structure? i am at opposition with the other league founders and am curious what you guys do.
10/21/2009 12:37:39 PM
Packers signed Ahman Green
10/21/2009 1:39:22 PM
^ I just checked to see if he is available. I can't find yet.Should I play crabtree this week or wait?
10/21/2009 1:56:25 PM
pick one:RB/WRHightower vs NYGHarvin vs PittDonald Brown vs STLGarcon vs STLK Walter vs SFHakeem Nicks vs ARIim not sure whats worse, STL run d or pass d...so im stuck between those two...Harvin is QuestionableHightower maybe? he averages 13.0 a week...help!!
10/21/2009 2:25:54 PM
I'd probably go either Brown or Nicks. Leaning towards Nicks. 3 TD's in consecutive weeks.More valuable WR the rest of the season?: Sidney Riceor Percy Harvin
10/21/2009 2:49:21 PM
Who has more value for the rest of the season (have to start EVERY week, including bye)TJ HoushCalvin JohnsonMiles AustinSidney RiceDerrick MasonHakeem NicksSeems like a no brainer, but want some feedback.
