Everyone that gets LTR's get their seats..Then the WPC sorts everyone that signs up for season tickets according to their points. Then those people get their seats in order. The level that you donate to for season tickets does not put you in the same that are for LTR's. (it's my understanding that just about all season tickets are in the corners and end zones, anyways) Those categories matter for LTR's only. The points calculation for someone giving $120 for three years (this year =3rd year) puts them a shade ahead of someone who gives $599 this year. So you would have worse seats by a little bit, according to how the WPC sorts the seats. The annual donation deadline is Dec 31st for thsi year. The deadline to count for points in football tickets is May 15th. So pay this year and then pay again before May 15th next year to get the emost bang per buck. You can move up in rank pretty quickly as long as you keep up for five years or so. There's a lot of turnover in the bottom of the ranks. After that you kind of get into your spot in the queue and most of the people around you keep up by making the same donations.[Edited on August 4, 2009 at 11:29 AM. Wow, Glennon has definitely put on some muscle.
8/4/2009 11:33:27 AM
thanks for the clear up.. and with all that being said let me ask this..If most season tickets are in the corners/endzones would it not be more beneficial (if you have the income) to apply for a LTR in your donating zone thus almost certifying you have a seat on or near the 30 yard line each year (State Club Level) and paying off LTR license over the 10 year alloted time? This is all assuming money is less of an issue than seating location of course.
8/4/2009 11:36:10 AM
I would only even consider LTR's if I know I'm going to live in NC for the next decade or soAre you completely sure of this Jeepin ?I'm not, and its the main reason why I prefer to do it on a game by game basis

parking questions1) how much do TX passes cost?2) when do they mail them out?
8/4/2009 2:19:31 PM
You order and they are mailed with season tickets. No idea on single game, but I guess you should ask about it (most likely if you can get any parking it will be whatever is left over).
8/4/2009 2:27:05 PM
When are season tickets mailed?
8/4/2009 2:35:31 PM
$120 a year for parking pass, which is required with tix through WPC. should come in the mail next week

^thats pretty close to true. party nerds!
8/5/2009 11:14:15 AM
when carolina compares themselves to the ivy league it's laughable. when duke does it it's the truth.
8/5/2009 11:20:15 AM
how the fuck is BC on that list? Their stadium and arena always look empty.
8/5/2009 11:22:36 AM
i think it has been established that this list is complete bullshit
8/5/2009 11:27:20 AM
penn state being #1 is also bullshit. they show up for football only.having gone to hs in pennsylvania, i know plenty of kids that go to penn state and are way into psu football that go to nothing else. i know a girl that flew to the rose bowl that isn't really sure where their team even plays basketball.
8/5/2009 11:30:15 AM
According to the intro of that article, it seems like the list is based on a survey as opposed to facts.
8/5/2009 12:03:02 PM
That list was horrible
8/5/2009 12:31:53 PM
Having Boston College in that list is (almost) as bad as having Duke. That's really horrible.
8/5/2009 12:44:50 PM
having BC is much worse than having duke. at least duke has one sport to hang their hat on.i guess BC has hockey, but i'm not sure how much that draws either.
8/5/2009 1:31:45 PM
8/5/2009 1:42:09 PM
Maryland at 5 is pretty bogus as well, but not as bad as BC/Duke.
