pretend you have to pick one team and ride them out the rest of the season.....then who would you pick for DEF? (we have to pay $$ for every move)Detroit SFTenn BufNY ClevCinn St LouOak WasAZ No
10/2/2007 8:42:00 PM
oakland
10/2/2007 8:49:03 PM
I'd go Raiders then
10/2/2007 8:51:13 PM
Detroit is currently tearing it up (point wise), however it seems hard to keep it up. Tenn seems like they have a much better D than expected. (holding Indy to low ~21)Oak seems fairly solid. Any other thoughts?
10/2/2007 8:53:11 PM
I'd say either OAK or TENDET has been balling but they're gonna have to do more for me to be sold on them
10/2/2007 8:55:28 PM
Rudi Johnson is out this week with a bye.... who should I fill his spot with ( I can use either wideouts or running backs)Ron Dayne vs MiamiKevin Jones vs WashingtonBobby Engram vs PittVincent Jackson vs Denver
10/3/2007 1:14:18 AM
I have Engram and he has been steady for me. He has gotten at least 6 points in every game and has gotten me 12 the past 2 weeks.
10/3/2007 1:30:44 AM
if Ahman Green is out again this week for the Texans, I'd go with Dayneif Green plays, I'd go with Engram
10/3/2007 10:57:39 AM
Do you think that Dominic Rhodes will have fantasy value when he comes back in Week 6, or should I handcuff Fargas? I know the whole L. Jordan back issue is going to be huge for owners.
10/3/2007 11:21:52 AM
^no telling...if Pittman or Graham are available for Tampa I'd take them before either Rhodes or Fargas, simply because we already know Cadillac is out for the year...Jordan should be back after the bye weekif Pittman and Graham are gone this won't help, but its my perspective
10/3/2007 11:23:29 AM
I think it's time to give up on the Jackson's... V Jackson has not done squat even against KC. They have a tough road ahead as well.B Jackson needs more time and now with Morency back it's time to let him go.So who do I pick up at WR to replace V Jackson? R White, M Jenkins, B Jones, James Jones, M Furrey, B Stokley? And for B Jack - Fargas, Maurice Morris, Aaron Stecker? Thanks.
10/3/2007 11:34:04 AM
Roddy White would be my bet. He has been getting consistant looks and TD catches over the past 3 games. He is slowly securing his role. And I am not the only one:
10/3/2007 11:37:27 AM
In a keeper league that starts 2 quarterbacks. I had 4 on my roster: Leinart, McNabb (bye), Culpepper (bye), Tav. Jackson (bye)Frerotte (starting in place of bulger this week, and possibly next week) is available as FA, and Kurt Warner is on the waiver wire.Which should i attempt to pick up?Not sure on how Frerotte will produce, but I'm really not sure about having a Warner, Leinart rotating QB tandom to lean on.
10/3/2007 12:55:23 PM
Rumor has it that Mewelde Moore (Minn) might be trade to the Bucs. His value would go up alot if he does. Is he worth a pick up?? If you have a spot open it wouldn't hurt.
10/3/2007 1:11:02 PM
Frerotte has no O-line left hence the reason Steven Jackson is out with a groin tear and Bulger has 2 broken ribsAnd agreed on the Kurt Warner issue, he is not a viable optionwho else is available in your league?
10/3/2007 1:38:15 PM
I'm not wild about Warner either but I'd take him over Leinhart...you'd obviously only prefer to have either Edge, Boldin or Fitz and no other Cardinals but I like Warner more than Leinhart fwiw
10/3/2007 1:42:52 PM
Only one available (that is projected to start) is Frerotte. I could drop Leinart for Warner(although I'm not completely ready to totally give up on Leinart). I'm leaning towards just picking up Frerotte for this week (hoping he just accounts for positive pts), because I will have McNabb, Culpepper, Jackson (nothing impressive so far) coming back for the rest of the year with no byes.

10/3/2007 2:17:41 PM
who to start, Brees who has blown ass all year against the Panthers, or Favre with a great year so far against an underachieving Bears defense
10/3/2007 2:35:08 PM
I'm playing Brees in my league...if he does well, good for my fantasy team...if he sucks, good for my PanthersI'd play Favre though
10/3/2007 2:37:37 PM
So yeah my QB situation is pretty rough right now and McNabb on BYE isn't helping, haha.Start 2 of the 3:Jeff Garcia (current starter)Damon Huard (current starter)Trent Edwardsand then I could get Frerotte if I really wanted to, but with no SJ and a patch-work OL, I'm not really thinking he'll be a great play.
10/3/2007 4:10:57 PM
mcnabb ... isnt helping either

I just got offered this trade:Receive: Cotchery and Roddy WhiteGive up: Santonio Holmes and Bobby EngramThoughts?
10/3/2007 8:49:40 PM
^I like it, mainly because I <3 J-Co, and Engram's value will dip slightly when Hackett returns
10/3/2007 9:08:35 PM
Now he has changed his mind and wants this:Cotchery, White, Adrian Peterson Holmes, Engram, Andre Johnson I am offering Holmes, Engram, and Shaun Alexander b/c Andre has been a stud when healthy.
10/3/2007 9:15:29 PM
10/3/2007 10:24:18 PM
trade offerI get Fast Willie Parker, the Cowboys DI give Willis McGahee and the Titans D
10/3/2007 10:34:58 PM
you win
10/3/2007 10:36:38 PM
yep, take it
10/3/2007 10:37:17 PM
that's what I thoughtpreesh
10/3/2007 10:54:21 PM
ok i need MORE THAN ONE opinion on thisQB pick oneDrew Brees(car) or Big Ben(sea)WR pick 2:Roy Williams(wash), Deion Branch(pitt), Reggie Wayne(Tampa)
10/4/2007 10:03:54 AM
^Roy Williams and Reggie Wayne are definitely the WRs...I'd lean towards Roethlisberger for QB
10/4/2007 10:23:46 AM
Brees has been garbage this yeargo with big Bennever say no to Reggie Wayne...its a crapshoot between the other two
10/4/2007 10:30:53 AM
Roy Williams has been killing it this year if you hadn't noticed...Branch has been good the last 2 weeks but Roy has done it for 4 weeks
10/4/2007 10:51:07 AM
Thanks to bulger being out I need a new QB. I have Cutler on the bench, but also Schaub, Harrington, Garrard are the top 3 QB's available. Recommendations?
10/4/2007 11:09:04 AM
all 3 could be decentI have Garrard in both of my leagues...he doesn't have to worry about Leftwich, he's rushing for about 50 yards a game, and Jacksonville has already had its bye week
10/4/2007 11:10:40 AM
^^Schaub or Harrington. Schaub esp. when Andre Johnson gets healthy. Harrington is also showing some signs of a good fantasy option too.Cutler has the Bolts this week.Harrington has the Titans.Schaub has the Fins. Also, keep Holcomb as an option esp. if the passing game for the Vikes tends to improve.[Edited on October 4, 2007 at 11:15 AM. 10/4/2007 11:14:57 AM
do any of you think Bulger is worth hanging on to?Rivers and Harrington are both available
10/4/2007 12:12:27 PM
^who is your other QB? Bulger is clearly playing like shit for a number of reasons, but he's still a good quarterback
10/4/2007 12:29:06 PM
BULGER has been benched for the Rams!!!
10/4/2007 12:31:41 PM
yeah Frerrotte is playing this weekbut still
10/4/2007 12:41:56 PM
my other qb is B. Roth
10/4/2007 12:48:26 PM
well Ben has been solid...dropping Bulger or not will kind of depend on your other needs, and the best way to fill your rosteralso what do you think the chances of somebody else picking up bulger in your league will be? if everybody else is set at QB, maybe you can drop him and be abe to pick him up in another week
10/4/2007 12:49:33 PM
well my weakest point is at RBi have the following:S. JacksonW. DunnJones-DrewBrian Leonard (backup for STL)Kevin Jones and Chester Taylor are both available in my league[Edited on October 4, 2007 at 12:54 PM. Reason : along with Jerious Norwood and Ron Dayne]
10/4/2007 12:53:33 PM
slim pickins...i also have S-Jack and Jones-Drew...got lucky on some flyers with Jamal Lewis thougheither of the Tampa running backs available in your league?I'd keep playing Ben as long as he keeps playing well...dunno what to tell you about Bulger
10/4/2007 12:57:35 PM
none of the TB RBs are available
10/4/2007 1:01:32 PM
Need opinions on a potential trade.I have Bulger and just picked up Warner and Culpepper...needless to say, I have major QB problems.I'm proposing Tom Brady for Chad Johnson and either Travis Henry/Frank Gore/Rudi Johnson/Jamal Lewis.Which RB should I try to offer first..? I was leaning towards Rudi Johnson, personally. My WR's that are left is Randy Moss, Javon Walker, and Hines Ward. Walker and Ward are both dealing with injuries right now.Should I even pull the trigger for this trade, or am I having to give up too much..? I've been screwed the last two weeks because of poor QB play and would have won if Bulger wasn't getting 1 and 3 points respectively. I don't know if I can count on Warner or Culpepper to bring any sort of production, since Warner is fighting for time with Leinart and Culpepper is trying to prove himself over McCown and Russell. My WR's aren't very healthy either, and I may lose potential points if my guys can't bounce back from injury. I think Carson Palmer likes throwing to TJ Whosyourdaddy better and I figured I'd try to sell Chad high.[Edited on October 4, 2007 at 1:05 PM. Reason : more]
