Slightly off topic but I figured this was the best place to ask.My dad is a huge Duke football fan(sad I know) and we're planning on going to the bowl game in Charlotte. I've been waiting on buying tickets because I know they're going to be plentiful. Question is, how good/bad are seats in the upper deck at around the 50 yard line. Those are very cheap right now and all the lower level seats are still around ticket price....which they probably aren't worth. Is there a bad seat(i.e. the upper deck) or will we be fine just about anywhere? Thanks for any advice.

my panthers season tickets are ~20 yard line, upper deck (though they are about the 3rd-4th lowest row in the 500 level)stadium has good sightlines...50 yard seats in the upper deck (assuming you're talking about 500-level) are good seats, especially if they're in the first 10 or so rowsbut at the same time, i spent about $120 a seat for 1st row seats to the Belk Bowl last year with NCSU/Louisville at around the 10 yardline, which were awesomemainly depends on how much you want to spend, if you want to see the whole game, be close to the Duke sideline, etcfeel free to PM if you want more details

Thanks for the input, the main thing that scared me was on ticketmaster they have the upper deck seats and on most of the first couple rows it says that it's an "obstructed view" which doesn't make much sense to me being in the upper deck and all, but I just want to be sure. Thanks
12/20/2012 12:50:10 AM
nosebleed endzone seats might have an obstructed view, but 50 yardline seats dont on any row...so maybe thats just a ticketmaster mandated thing for all stadiums
12/20/2012 12:51:38 AM
Kinda what I was thinking, thanks

Lombardi reported that 3 days ago, Cole 2 days agoits not like Yahoo Sports is The Bleacher Report, they're as reputable as anybody elsei just think its dumb to fire a coach who took over a 2-14 team, after 2 years, after going 6-10 and 7-9, to hire another unproven coordinator with no head coaching experience, who is gonna make the same mistakes that Rivera made, and has appeared to learn from over the last monthbesides, even though Rivera was a Hurney hire, that Big Cat approved, Big Cat is too loyal to get rid of him imo[Edited on December 30, 2012 at 3:58 PM.
