Reason : lol]
2/11/2010 6:14:09 PM
injuring cole puts wayne bridge and john terry on the same field. it was a calculated hit by lando.
2/11/2010 6:57:31 PM
does Ledley King even need to be on that list?Seriously?and they're saying Stephen Warnock might get the starting spot over Bridge, which I'd be OK with
2/11/2010 7:43:11 PM
lol Ledley King
2/11/2010 10:02:25 PM
LOL, it's like a movie unfolding.I'm ready for the Wayne Bridge v John Terry cage match.
2/11/2010 10:35:18 PM
hahaha. yes ledley king...honestly after terry and fragile rio, who else do you have in the back??? and dont tell me Klingon Lescott is good cause you know he is Garbage Galore
2/11/2010 11:12:20 PM
Lescott wont be fit in time for the WC anywaywe could always get Carragher to play againCapello would never play Ledley King tho, dude is worthless. he can't even train without his knee blowing up like a balloon
2/11/2010 11:15:29 PM
Michael Turner should get a call up
2/12/2010 3:27:46 AM
^^ well if Neville is one of the best right backs in England like you claim, surely he can provide cover on the left, right?(Capello, please please please let Neville play left back for England in the WC)
2/12/2010 7:35:22 AM
you're reaching, dude
2/12/2010 9:05:55 AM
It was an honest question, you say you'd rather have Neville than Carra at right back, why would you prefer Carra over him on the left?if it were my decision, I'd play Milner there
2/12/2010 9:10:23 AM
isn't Carragher a CB?I'd prefer to have a position player play at their position over a dude who's playing out of position any day of the week, but when you don't have a viable option for a LB or a RB you can play a CB there generally without too much harm.so no, moving Neville to LB would be a dumb idea, but playing Carragher there would not.[Edited on February 12, 2010 at 9:51 AM. Reason : and as I said it'll probably be Stephen Warnock anyway]
2/12/2010 9:50:36 AM
well he's more of a RB now for Liverpool but I guess I see your pointWhere's Milner going to fit into the team? Bench? I think he's awesome
2/12/2010 9:52:57 AM
I think if milner makes the team, he'll maybe see some time at right wing or left wing. maybe even cm I dunno. Who plays rm for england normally? lennon, beckham, swp and walcott? milner is better than all of them in my opinion but im not sure about how much he'll play.
2/12/2010 10:59:08 AM
Walcott is the most overrated player in the worldhe wouldn't even start for the US
2/12/2010 11:12:38 AM
Walcott is a track star who happened to score a soccer goal a couple times a few years ago
2/12/2010 11:13:49 AM
Milner would probably play left wing. No way he would start right over Beckham/Lennon/Wright-Philips/Joe Cole. And no chance in hell he'd ever squeeze Lampard/Gerrard/Carrick out of CM.[Edited on February 12, 2010 at 12:23 PM. Reason : ]
2/12/2010 12:22:39 PM
2/12/2010 1:44:33 PM
yea i see ashley young or stewart downing probably on the left side, with cole starting if hes fit. Milner could play there, but I doubt he starts on the left over downing or young, since they both start over him on the left and right for villa. I think lennon probably starts on the right, but right now, milner is a lot better than beckham, walcott and swp for sure. I think milner is a better player than lennon, but he probably won't start over him.
2/12/2010 3:41:09 PM
honestly though, you start lennon if you want speed on the right. if you are looking for consistency you might as well start beckham. he is still a hard worker out wide at his age. sure he's not fast, but hes never been fast...and milner is no usain bolt himself. i wont be surprised to see beckham start on the right against usa
2/12/2010 4:36:12 PM
Hard to ignore Lennon if he keeps his form up though. He's probably my favorite non-USA player.
2/12/2010 5:21:26 PM
...isn't Lennon hurt right now?
2/12/2010 5:56:10 PM
yeah he is. well no matter who starts on the wings, its gonna come down to rooney, lampard, and gerrard. if those guys dont get it done, england are fux0red
2/12/2010 5:59:10 PM
lol stoke force a replay in the fa cup with man city.
2/13/2010 2:16:05 PM

2/14/2010 8:54:53 AM
Aston Villa in all sorts of trouble away to Crystal Palace in the FA Cup right now...
2/14/2010 12:19:45 PM
Villa scores to tie it againWhoever that was that took that free kick for Crystal like 40 yards out and dusted the keeper, I say gg to you sir.
2/14/2010 12:33:06 PM
^^^ SPL games are played on Setanta, if you have it. Only channel in the US that carries them, as far as I know. And it's a well-known fact that Henry and Zidane hate each other. Zidane wouldn't piss on Henry to put out a fire. That lone assist came from the WC06 game vs Brazil, and it was a free kick that was probably meant to be a shot which fell to Henry for the tap-in. If I recall, they didn't even celebrate it together.
2/14/2010 1:54:24 PM
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e_1BUBQTB2Iyep. Zidane didnt even celebrate with him.
2/14/2010 2:46:40 PM
Never heard any of that. They looked pretty amiable towards each other at the charity match in Lisbon a couple of weeks ago. Also, Zidane made it a point to defend Henry during the whole handball incident saying "He is not a cheat, I know him well" and that he shouldn't take any more blame.
2/14/2010 2:49:48 PM
yea i was about to post the same thing, i've never heard that. And can you really blame zidane for not sprinting all the way to the other side of the field to celebrate with henry? i really doubt that zidane avoided giving henry assists. He was the captain of the team and i seriously doubt he would put a personal problem with a player in front of winning games for france.
2/14/2010 2:55:52 PM
I wish I could find an article on it, because it was something that they talked night and day about during WC06

2/14/2010 3:34:17 PM
It's gonna be tough, but at least we're still IN the Champions League.

I like the idea too. In most leagues it usually 2 or 3 always strong clubs, but in the EPL, it's been the Big 4 every year.
