This headboard is solid wood (looks like cherry wood to me) and is sturdy.
There are two sets of slots to receive the bedframe (Queen or Full mattress and frame would work).
There is dust on the headboard in the pictures but it cleaned up beautifully. The headboard was my grandmothers and has been in storage.
