I know I'm super delayed but omg elise that dress is soooooooo pretty
8/8/2012 8:52:16 PM
the black and nude one? thank you! i think it fucking rocks. i never would have thought it would look good on my giant hips, but i'm glad i tried it on. I will no longer not try something on because of how I think i will look in it.[Edited on August 8, 2012 at 8:54 PM. Reason : .]

elise, the dress you posted for the tea party is gorgeous. i went to pull a divababy no no & went to look at ordering one but you have to be a business to order from that website??

I didn't get the soda fountain one, but I got the Ignite the Night dressand I LOVE IT
8/8/2012 10:59:34 PM
2^ NCSUWolfy: I got it at Macy's. ^It looks similar (and great on you) but I already have a nice red dress, also from Macy's. It looked so good I got it in black, too.[Edited on August 9, 2012 at 9:07 AM. Reason : .]

like yer hair DDK
8/9/2012 9:08:33 AM
Hmm, seems as though the soda fountain dress is made by the same company as the ignite the night dress. I think I'll try it out. I'm sending the green dress back and getting that white one first, though.

I got the Coach Tour Dress in Rouge (http://www.modcloth.com/shop/dresses/coach-tour-dress-in-rouge), and I liked it a lot. It was nicely made, a good weight of cotton (not too heavy to wear in summer, but not too breezy for summer with some tights, etc).I was happy with it - it's on the lower end of the pricing scheme, so I wasn't excepting woven silk, and it's priced appropriately.
8/9/2012 11:09:22 AM
I've looked at that one a lot, but I'm not sure how the dress would fit on my shape. I wish modcloth had a store so I could try it on.

all you ladies with your cute short haircuts recently are really giving me the itch. this is me now (and my thumb sucking of a kid...awww):the last time my hair was "short" was winter 2010. (this is the best i got)and if i had the balls (and my husband wouldn't freak out) i'd do this:but i think he'd less likely freak out if i just did something like this:either short haircut...i would donate what was cut to locks of love.tell me ladies of TWW...what should i do? help a girl out.[Edited on August 9, 2012 at 11:51 AM. I really like the second picture of you. But I'm always an advocate for as short as you can go!
8/9/2012 12:00:13 PM
2nd one is more your style anyways
8/9/2012 12:06:33 PM
does your hair frizz at all when you let it airdry? i really love the second pic of the girl's hair (where it's wavy - very free-spirited) but i know my hair would turn into something like side show bob than pretty but manageable waves.
8/9/2012 12:08:19 PM
@ Cass - I would buy that green dress from you in a heartbeat if I thought my boobies would actually fit into that bodice. It's so my style and I freaking love that line
8/9/2012 12:19:23 PM
i miss my long hair. i am starting to grow it out again. dont cut it
8/9/2012 1:42:16 PM
Frizz is not a problem, and I usually let my hair airdry anyway. Wolfy I'll send you mine
8/9/2012 4:36:57 PM
you have, possibly, the prettiest head of long hair i've ever seen...i would be sad to see it go...BUT...i love my short hair so i don't blame you if you want to cut it
8/9/2012 4:41:51 PM
LK- I just chopped mine off too. My hair is pretty curly...So I got it cut to my shoulders. When I straighten it- good and when I air dry it (normal) it's just fun. My friend cut it (who's a hair dresser) and she went nuts with the texturizing (spelling?)and gave me some nice lengths around my face. I have heard so many people down the snippy snippy texturizing technique- but I tell you what, It's given it so much dimension and it's not a flat curl anymore. So far, I dig it a lot. And it takes a lot for me to say that about my hair.Wow, did i really just type that much about myself? /narcissistic rant
8/9/2012 4:47:46 PM
^^ mine's just got a wave to it that i can make more wavy or loose curls just by using mousse. i do like my hair long...i just find i'm always putting it up nowadays. with my less than stellar stay-at-home-mom attire, i feel like a hair change might make me feel more "put together."
8/9/2012 6:38:08 PM
cut it!
8/9/2012 6:47:22 PM
Short hair is awesome and so freaking easy and I really like the first short cut you posted
8/9/2012 7:42:22 PM
My hair is about an inch away from not having to use 5 clips when in a pony tail. I love short hair and I love long hair. It's that middle area that sucks. So, if you cut all your hair off you have to be willing to suffer through this middle length part. Maybe I should start taking prenatal vitamins to help it grow faster. :-/

8/9/2012 8:46:33 PM
I guess i will buy the white dress and be done then.
8/9/2012 9:05:01 PM
I also have the coach tour dress in pink - and I lurveeee itbtw, LK, I like your hair short.. but I also love it long. I think I like the cut you had when you lost the leather bracelet the most, thoughI really want this cut
8/9/2012 10:09:05 PM
Ahh yes, that was a good'un
8/9/2012 10:11:28 PM

8/10/2012 12:57:25 AM
is that brown or maroon?
8/10/2012 6:57:48 AM
black cherry is what they say it's called.
8/10/2012 9:25:24 AM
honestly any coloras you can see in the pic it will help bright colors popif you're scared to veer off too far, stick with the orange/red/yellow family and you'll be fine
8/10/2012 9:27:26 AM
I think it looks kind of neutral, but I think it would look nice with a cream colored top or maybe a light pink.
8/10/2012 9:30:04 AM
or be plain and do thatworks perfectly fine too!
8/10/2012 9:40:57 AM
i imagine a fun poppy orange/red color would look banging with those pants. or even a mustard colored top/cardigan.
8/10/2012 9:42:46 AM
Yeah, im not daring when trying to match colors.
8/10/2012 9:42:54 AM
turquoise! Cassthesass: just get that green dress tailored and wear it already! I got my swirly dress today and honestly, i'm a bit disappointed. the fit and everything is perfect but the print placement really sucks. they didn't match the prints on different pattern pieces at all.
8/10/2012 10:27:03 AM
^ ugh i hate that - i hate when you see the print online and then see it in person and it's completely different. or like you said, the print placement is just not ideal
8/10/2012 10:31:06 AM
yeah, the one the model wears is always made with 10 times more care and precision. modcloth, eshakti, this place, they all fucking do that. jerks. all I'm asking is that the most interesting part of the pattern should be complete in the front of the dress, JHC
8/10/2012 10:49:25 AM
I got these shirts and 2 pants for $115 So excited
8/10/2012 3:28:14 PM
AWESOME
8/10/2012 3:59:32 PM
That's a great deal! I spent that much on a single cardigan today. But I justify it because I had a gift card, and it was almost sold out, so I couldn't risk waiting for the sale. [Edited on August 10, 2012 at 4:03 PM. Reason : ]
8/10/2012 4:03:01 PM
Yeah, I hardly ever spend on myself, so I'm really excited. Hopefully they all fit and look decent on me.
