Yea, I'm set. I have Tebow & Stafford. I actually picked up Palmer with the intent of dealing with this guy exclusively. He'll probably reject it, esp. since Colt McCoy is on waivers. Which is who I'd go with if I were you against Seattle.I'm seriously pulling my hair out with M. Williams. Drafted his sorry ass in the 4th round and he has sucked majorly this year for me. I'm hurting at WR with only Wallace as my stud, and Plaxico, Manningham and M. Williams rotating as the role of fantasy black hole for me every week. Is Williams or Plaxico droppable for a dude like Doug Baldwin? I know that sounds crazy, but I'm desperate.
10/18/2011 2:22:44 PM
No they are not. Seattle is terrible and is going to stay that way.I want several of you weigh on this. Many of you know what you are talking about so I want to see if you all have any counterpoints to this trade offer.
10/18/2011 2:41:18 PM
If he really wants to get Stevie Johnson, then I don't think that 2nd trade is bad either. Like someone else said, Nate Washington is your 4th or 5th WR option. You really don't have much to lose by trading him. Your WRs are still solid if you do trade SJ and NW...VJax, Greene, and Bowe aren't bad options at all. AJ Greene has his bye this week and VJax and Bowe have already had their byes, so you don't have that to worry about either.I think you would stand to benefit from all 3 of those trade offers, but you're getting more/giving up less by doing the second or third one, IMO. The first one isn't a bad trade, but if you can get Ced Benson by just giving Nate Washington (as well as getting BGE and giving up SJ if you choose to do so), then I'd do that.[Edited on October 18, 2011 at 3:00 PM. I think you could do it for both guys...obviously Washington preferred...but point being its ok to trade somewhat less than level if it helps your depth out, which I think this probably doesTrade question:Someone offering me Dustin Keller and either Jordy Nelson or Miles Austin for Jason Witten and one of the following: Anquan Boldin, Dez Bryant, Heyward-Bay. It's all discussion right now, but here are the 2 questions:1) Should I target Nelson or Austin?2) Which WR should I steer him toward, and which WR, if any, would you NOT do the trade for?We start 3 WR, 2RB, 1 TE, and 1 flex
10/18/2011 2:56:33 PM
I personally think Austin is the better target. Rodgers spreads the ball around A LOT which limits Nelson's value IMO. I'd probably steer him towards Heyward-Bey first and Boldin second. I would not trade Dez Bryant.
10/18/2011 3:00:22 PM
^ AgreedPicked up Colt McCoy for Brady's by week new options are available though. Would you drop him for any of:Flacco (Jac)Tebow (Mia)Cutler (TB)Also I'm in a rut with Felix injured and Bradshaw on a bye so I need a new flex (subbing in Shonn Greene for Bradshaw). I plan on holding onto Felix so I would need to drop one of the following: Mike Thomas, David Nelson, Victor Cruz, or Malcom Floyd.Best available on the waiver:Kevin Walter (Ten)Steve Breaston (Oak)Montario Hardesty (Sea) what the deal with Hillis anyway?Jackie Battle (Oak)Darrius Heyward-Bey (KC)Murry or Choice (StL)(10 Team .5 PPR)
10/18/2011 3:52:02 PM
^I am in the same boat regarding Jones. I would definitely drop Thomas out of that group and pick up either Heywood-Bey or Murray (assuming what they say is true about him getting the majority of the carries).
10/18/2011 4:38:02 PM
Rivers vs. Jetsor drop Dalton for one of the following waiver pickups:Matt Moore vs. DenverMatt Cassel vs. OaklandDalton is on a bye this week and this is a very deep league (14 teams)
10/18/2011 5:28:34 PM
^Stick with the stud, I'd take Rivers vs the '85 Bears over those optionsI currently have Fred and Vernon Davis at TE. With Cooley out (for the season maybe) should I think about sticking with Fred and trading Vernon or is that just stupid since the rest of year rankings have Vernon at 5 and Fred at 11. I need a consistent WR2, think that would be do able? Maybe I'm over thinking the shit out of this.
10/18/2011 5:48:39 PM
If you could trade Fred then I would go with that. I personally overvalue studs like Vernon who play in the NFC West since that division is full of week D's (espcially when you exclude the 49ers). If you could trade Fred for what would perhaps be a weaker wr2 than what Vernon would get you, I think it would be your better option.
10/18/2011 5:52:26 PM
Worth dropping Mike Williams for Doug Baldwin?I've got M. Wallace, Manningham, & Plaxico as my other 3 WR's. Need some help fast.
10/18/2011 8:57:44 PM
Maybe for a one week fill-in with Haden out this week, but I wouldn't count him for anymore than that.
10/19/2011 12:09:19 AM
Deciding between Tebow @ MIA or Matt Ryan @ Detroit.REASONS TO CHOOSE TEBOW:-Miami gives up nearly the most fantasy points to quarterbacks, while Detroit gives up nearly the fewest.-The Dolphins are making this Sunday Florida Gator Day.-Mark Sanchez's rushing TD against the phins last night.-Suck for Luck.REASONS TO NOT CHOOSE TEBOW:-It's fucking Tim Tebow-No Brandon Lloyd-It's fucking TIM TEBOW
10/19/2011 12:37:17 AM
any good waiver wire pickups this week?
10/19/2011 1:07:21 AM
carson palmer jackie battle
10/19/2011 1:39:52 AM
So i need another WR to fill up some bye week holes. Here are a few of my best options on the waiver wireGreg Little (Cle) vs. SeattleDexter McCluster @ OaklandMichael Jenkins vs. GBJames Jones @ Minnthen there's a few others; Johnny Knox, Nate Burleson, Doug BaldwinI'm leaning towards McCluster right now since I have Cassell. But I also have McCoy on the bench and could play him and Little as well. Thoughts?]
10/19/2011 8:49:50 AM
^I'd go Little, he was targeted something like 9 times last week, seems to be coming on strong. I also don't like to play QB/WR tandems because if one sucks all your eggs are in that basketJust looking for someone to tell me whether this is a fair trade or not: 16 team PPR league. I needed a running back really bad and decided to make an offer to this guy that has NO starting QB (has Peyton and Orton). Obviously with 16 teams if you don't draft a QB, because of the number of teams, it's hard to get one if you're deep on waivers. I give:Dalton (92 points this year)Branch (72)Jacobs (53)I get:Orton (worthless the rest of the year)Beanie Wells (79)Mike Williams (52)The guy accepted the trade and its at a league vote now, already having 4/6 objections. Is this an objection-worthy trade? Just want to get some perspective on this before I go ape shit on my league board. League votes piss me off! All it takes is his division and my division to say "fuck it, I don't want his team getting any better" and it washes it out....FUCK!
10/19/2011 9:28:33 AM
sounds pretty fucked up. If you guys don't have a waiver period you could negotiate a time to drop/add all said players and swap them that way. sounds like people in your league are dicks.
10/19/2011 9:48:13 AM
^^I agree, thats pretty lame. It's not like you are trading 3 All-Pros for nothing. These are all marginal players. If this trade doesn't work out, you might want to consider picking up Carson Palmer. He can't be much worse than Dalton.Need 2:D. Williams vs WasJ. Stewart vs WasTolbert @NYJWard @AriAntonio Brown @AriI hate playing Williams and Stewart together. But they are both more consistent than anyone else. I hate my roster.
10/19/2011 10:46:07 AM
just traded steve smith for andre johnsonhopefully johnson heals up and comes back strong
10/19/2011 10:52:24 AM
^^That's a tough call. I'd probably go DeAngelo/Stewart even though I normally don't like playing 2 guys on the same team like that. Tolbert wouldn't be a bad option either though. I've explained this before, in previous weeks, but in one of my leagues we have a head coach roster spot. You have the coach of a team and if that team wins you get +3 points, if they lose you get -3 points. And of course you have the option of just not playing the coach at all. This isn't really a big deal, but we've also got a acquisition/transaction limit of 25. So it's hard to just play match-ups on these things. I've got the Lions coach. They're playing at home vs ATL...play or bench? I'm leaning toward benching him.
10/19/2011 11:47:32 AM
pick 1tim tebow vs miamiphilip rivers vs new york jets
10/19/2011 12:04:29 PM
I'd probably go Tebow, esp. if it's 4 pts. for a TD.Eval this trade.I got Jordy Nelson, gave up Peyton Hillis & TB Mike Williams. I was HURTING at WR.
10/19/2011 12:42:55 PM
Not such a bad trade if you needed the WR help. And Williams has been disappointing so far. There's no telling what is going on with Hillis....by the end of the year it might seem different though. At WR this week...Heyward Bey or Nate Washington? And I've explained this before, in previous weeks, but in one of my leagues we have a head coach roster spot. 10/20/2011 6:39:23 AM
I'd say Mendenhall all day.I'd go with Garcon this week, though I like Lloyd in the long run. Just seems like it's hard for WRs to have an immediate impact when joining a new team.[Edited on October 20, 2011 at 7:00 AM. Reason : :]
10/20/2011 6:59:59 AM
6-0, but have Welker, Hakeem Nicks, Lesean Mccoy and Jahvid Best sitting on the bench this week with no good substitutes. Should be receiving a royal ass kicking this week.

2 Questions:Pick one: (non-ppr)Earnest Graham vs. ChiDeMarco Murray vs. STLPick one: (ppr)Vincent Jackson @ Revis IslandAnquan Boldin @ Jax

Pick 2Heyward-Bey vs. KCJames Jones @ MinnGregg Little vs Sea^Against the Jets, Floyd will likely be matched up against A. Cromarte (sp?) and if VJAX and Gates are hurt, he may be the number one receiver.Floyd's numbers will probably benefit from being the #1 guy right now. D. Jackson is having a down year in terms of explosiveness, but you never know. he has way more upside than Floyd because of his speed and the return game. The Chargers, however, play in a much weaker division and get Oakland twice, KC again, and Denver at home. if she could do the trade and keep him on the roster for this weekend, i think that would be the best way to go. essentially getting a w/r 1.5 for a w/r 2.5 [Edited on October 20, 2011 at 8:07 AM. Reason : can't even spell the guy's name right ]
10/20/2011 7:55:07 AM
^I would go Heyward-Bey and Little.Pick 1 to drop for bye week WR:Hightower (other RBs are Benson,McGahee, sproles)orGresham (other TE is Gates)
10/20/2011 8:00:27 AM
i would say mcgahee because tebow will be poaching a lot of tds.
10/20/2011 8:09:19 AM
Is Plaxico droppable now?
10/20/2011 8:18:26 AM
Droppable for what?Pick 1 standard scoring:(Fred Jackson out on bye)Demarco Murray v STLWillis McGahee v MiamiKevin Walter v Tenn[Edited on October 20, 2011 at 8:41 AM. Reason : df]
10/20/2011 8:39:39 AM
^ I would go McGahee, but not by much.interesting:News: CBSSports.com NFL Insider Mike Freeman reported Thursday that Lions RB Jahvid Best has been advised by people close to him to "strongly consider sitting out the year" after suffering his second concussion of the season. As Freeman noted, Best was forced to miss the final four games of his college career due to concussion-like symptoms. Speculation is that further concussion issues could wreck his career. Best did not practice Wednesday and the Lions are mum on whether or not he'll suit up against the Falcons. The team had traded for Eagles RB Ronnie Brown on Tuesday but the deal fell through when Jerome Harrison failed a physical. Maurice Morris is expected to start for the Lions if Best can't make it this week. So should I drop Hightower for Maurice Morris?
10/20/2011 9:39:10 AM
^ it sounds like Morris could be a great waiver find as he'll be given oppurtunity, though I still think Hightower could put up numbers before it is all said and done with.
10/20/2011 10:28:54 AM
With that being said... would you start Morris over McGahee this week?
10/20/2011 10:50:38 AM
^no way. stay with McGahee. Tebow will drop his numbers some, but he should still get good numbers. Morris isn't guaranteed the majority of carries for the lions.
10/20/2011 3:24:19 PM
Nate Washington or Darrius Heyward Bey? James Starks or Jonathan Stewart?
10/20/2011 3:40:32 PM
Washington for sure. Don't think there is any difference between Starks and Stewart, though Stewart may have a slightly bigger upside.Choose one to dropBlountFelix JonesDeckerNate WashingtonFred DavisIngramBoldinAlso @ TE who would you rather have:Fred DavisorOwen Daniels
10/20/2011 5:44:41 PM
Decker and Daniels.Beck is an unknown at this point and that offense is going to struggle, IMO. Daniels should be Houston's top receiver while Johnson is out.[Edited on October 20, 2011 at 5:47 PM. Reason : .]
10/20/2011 5:47:18 PM
^^ I'd drop Washington over Decker. People rightly think that the pass game will slide with Tebow, but if you look at Lloyds numbers from last year, he didn't drop off much. Someone has to catch the ball and Decker is the number 1 until D. Thomas gets 100%. Agree with Daniels over Davis but Davis is not too shabby, Daniels is just that good.Would you drop any of the following for DeMarco Murry? I have Felix, he's my usual flex so I'm using one of these WR for a flex now:Heyward-BeyDavid NelsonMalcom FloydVictor CruzThe answer guys from ESPN said drop Cruz. Thoughts?
10/20/2011 6:34:01 PM
Vick is my QB and is on a bye this weekendI drafted Jason Campbell just for this weekend (and for whenever Vick would miss a start)this was the perfect fantasy stormI'm going with Carson Palmer
10/20/2011 6:41:17 PM
^^ I would drop Cruz as wellI have an ethics question....the guy I am playing this week has his 2Qbs on his team his main guy (Eli) is on a bye week and the other QB he has (Kyle Orton) is not starting anymore it is a 16 team league so there was 1 starting QB left on the waiver wire and I just picked him up (giving me 4QBs) is that messed up of me to make it difficult for him to get a QB or is that just part of how FF is played. I kind of feel bad for doing that but I really need this win and there is a lot of money on the line if you win this league.
10/20/2011 8:05:53 PM
^If he still has Orton on his team, then he's probably not the most active owner anyways
10/20/2011 8:07:46 PM
if its a money league, fuck him.
10/20/2011 8:52:56 PM
