i have tooanyway back to health & nutrition talk!im super tired today. im waiting for adt to come fix my alarm. i want to take a nap!! then i have to do insanity. today is pure cardio, which is the hardest dvd of the first half. but this is the last week of month one!!

^^really. i think the plyo one is by far the harderst im thinking about taking a nap too.i am exhausted.keep in mind the importance of sleep!i found myself eating close to 500 calories LESS per day when i got an extra hour or so of sleep. whether it be a nap or sleeping in. pretty significant [Edited on June 21, 2010 at 3:09 PM. Sometimes a nap is good for you. If your body needs a nap, take a nap. Sleep is rejuvenating.I just finished a P90X KenpoX workout ... ouch! It's like a Tae Bo workout, only funnier! I get an ab workout just from laughing at Tony.It's so ridiculously hot here. I've probably had 100 ounces of water already today and I still feel super dehydrated. UGH.^ That reminds me of Kendra's sleep diet idea on Girls Next Door. The idea is that if you're sleeping, you won't get hungry. I'm not gaining water weight right now bc I'm not consuming enough sodium to make me retain water. And, based on lady things, I'm not retaining water. So bring on the water, baby!Drinking water doesn't make you retain water.

god i'd love to go for a walk. but i am waiting on a service call. one of those 12-5pm type "appointments"i just ate lunch & im still on a conference call. think i'll take a little snooze on the couch afterwards. that way if adt shows up i can wake up and answer the door. plyo IS hard but pure cardio = NO BREAKS and cardio abs is like a joke, i can hardly sit in C sit position, much less lift my legs for several minutes! HAHAand i agree with getting enough (or extra) sleep. i got 8 hours last night but my body prefers 9 ish. and an afternoon nap never hurt anyone plus my cat likes to nap with me and i like to cuddle with her

^for real?i usually think of a good nights rest or a nap as better than my caloric intake. it energizes me much more and i feel more alert than anything i can ingest (caffeine included)

Alright, I've tracked my calories for the last seven days. See below (not gonna bother with pie charts and what not). Of note, for my activity level and age/weight http://www.fitday.com says I burn 3,174 calories on an average day.Day - calories taken in - calories burnedMonday - 3,228 - 3,947Tuesday - 2,6,71 - 3,174 (no exercise)Wednesday - 3,182 - 3,947Thursday - 5,048 - 3,682Friday - 3,143 - 3,174Saturday - 5,831 - 3,174 (no exercise)Sunday - 4,945 - 3,174 (No exercise)gonna weigh myself just after work around 5 but I'm guessing it'll be around the same as last week.[Edited on June 21, 2010 at 3:24 PM. just make sure you hit your mark or are close to it on caloriesif you watch your sodium, sugar and alcohol, the macros will take care of themselves, pretty muchdrink water to feel fuller too

IT'S OVER 9,000!!!! lolz..I picked up some Body Fortress Whey Protein today from the store. (mmm strawberry!!!). I'm going to take a brief nap after I finish devouring 2 roast beef sandwiches containing ~700 cal. total. Then, I'm going to begin the work out schedule. Today is pushups and situps.

Your activity level is also way higher than most people on this board. I sit behind a desk all day ... whereas you're on your feet, moving for hours each day. And you're super tall. Those factors alone mean you need at least 2,000 calories per day.
