Great season!! Very frustrating most of the time, but the braves overcame so much this year to get back to the playoffs. It's a great starting point and we should be even better next year if we have a halfway decent offseason, sign a few solid free agents. Thank you Bobby!! then it looks like Lee, Glaus, and Hinske are the only FA's next year. Infante has an option which should be picked up, and I'd guess Alex Gonzalez too so we have a SS. Farnsworth and Ankiel have options too, but I wouldn't be too upset if they let them walk. I think everybody else is still under contract right?

3B: Prado
LF: Diaz/Melky
CF: McClouth
RF: Heyward

Pretty depressed about what happened last night. The fucking umpiring in that series was atrocious. That blown call at 2B cost the Braves the game. Argue all you want, but without that call, they do not take the lead. Add that to the blown call in game 1 and there goes the season and Bobby Cox. I guess that is sweet justice for the umpires. They were able to screw the guy that argued with them the most.

It's been 20 seasons since the Braves got good back in 1991. Outside of 1995, it has been a painful 20 years even with all of the regular season winning. At least when a team sucks in the regular season, you can give up caring in June and not waste your time watching. With the Braves, they were the hot girl you worked to get a date with and then when it came time for some action, they dumped you and left you feeling like shit.

I'll miss Bobby. Wonder who they'll target as a replacement.
