omg thanks!

ok so I kinda fake the whole smokey eye b/c if i actually do the dark color all over the rim i just look like someone punched me in the face

start with the lightest color you want (here I used a light silver) and place it on the lid, really focusing on the inner part

take your medium shade (here it's a dark gray) and dab it on the outter third of your lid and using the tip of your RING finger (yes it is important it's that finger) blend. I also use a crease brush and dab a little bit of the color into the crease and blend there as well

lastly take your darkest color (black) and using the crease brush just dab it on in a v shap (think pacman's mouth. < like that) and blend that a little too.

I use a cream eyeliner to finish it off

its not as complicated as I probably made it seem i promise

https://trueandco.com/

so this site's purpose is to find you the correct bra size. you take a quiz (lord knows you ladies love online quizzes) and they will ship you for free 5 bras - 3 that you pick from their algorithmic recommendations based on the quiz, and 2 more chosen by their expert staff, also based on your quiz results. send back whichever ones you don't like, and pay for the rest. if any of y'all try it, i'd be interested to know if it works well or not

^^^ hmm.... I'm curious to see if they'd have anything for me. I hate bras. If my boobs were smaller (or fake and stayed perky) I wouldn't even wear a bra.

Pads in swimsuit tops: what do you gus do with them? Take them out or leave them in. If you leave them in do you sew them so they stay in place or do you wrestle with them every time you wash your suit?

Leave them in, and they are a pain in the ass when I wash my suits. I don't sew them, because it causes more of a headache when the padding folds over inside, and you can't reach it.

I usually end up tossing mine, but I feel rather odd with my nipples poking out at work. Especially since the kids love to ask why every thing happens, and arent shy about touching things.

If they ask "why" it's a no touch zone then they're just being little shits. Tell them that's the rule and you make the rules and if they don't like the rules then they don't get to go to the pool

what is your favorite after pool moisturizer? what about after beach? the family i work for has a salt water pool and it dries me out hardcore.

i usually just use aveeno, but on days i'm really dried out i'll use this...needless to say it always accompanies me to the beach

i used it daily when i was pregnant on my belly, thighs & breasts as well. i know stretch marks are mainly genetic and the rate of weight gain, but i only got one teeny tiny one on each side of my love handles as a result of using this daily. kept things super soft and never dry.

occasionally i used burt's bees nourishing body oil, but it's so messy. we've gotten in to using johnson & johnson baby oil gel which is less messy and of course way cheaper. we use it on the babe and as a result my hands stay super soft. maybe try that?

Silas's dermatologist recommended Cerave. It's a little pricey for drug store moisturizer but it's extremely rich and goes a long way. It's an excellent product for people who suffer from eczema.

not sure if this is the best thread for this but.... advice needed:

backstory:

been really close friends with a girl for over a year. totally hit it off, became bff really fast. she confides in me about 4 months ago that she's been sleeping with a married man for about 8 months. she's madly in love with him, blah blah blah. i'm the only one that knows. it obviously changes how i see her, but i make an effort not to let it interfere with our friendship.

fast forward to the last few weeks and she has almost completely pushed me out of her life. barely talks to me as much as she used to, lies to me about having plans so that she doesn't have to do the stuff that i've invited to her and what not.

i don't know what to do at this point. i don't want to lose her as a friend but at the same time if she's pushing me away i don't know what to do....

any advice?

why would you not want to lose her as a friend? She sounds like a liar, she's flakey, and she's a homebreaker... what wonderful qualities does she possess that makes you want a "friend" to treat you in a way that she does?

Sounds like she used to be a pretty cool chick, but things went bad when she started dating the married man. Giving up on a friend is hard, but sometimes you don't have a choice. I'd talk to her about it and tell her how you feel. If she doesn't care, then fuck her and find another bff.

I'm betting drama and imminent breakup with married guy. Give her space for a while, and when the drama is over reconnect. I wouldn't get rid of a friend because she was seeing a married guy. Maybe he was out looking for someone at a bar and told her later that he was married. Too many variables.

1) she's got major issues that make her think that she is completely undeserving of being in a relationship where she is priority #1

2) she's known that he's married since day 1

3) the flakey stuff started after she told me, so i'm thinking that it's because she told me, not because she's like that generally (since she was never like that before)

I agree.

Keep in mind - your relationship with her may dwindle now, but who's to say it's not going to pick up one day? I've had a few good friends who I've stopped talking to over the years and then just one day started back up again.

Also, this reminds me of the movie "Beaches" i.e. We've grown apart. It happens to the best of friends.

maybe she confided in the married boyfriend that she had told you about their relationship and he is making her feel guilty about being your friend and confiding in you more. it's possible that the married boyfriend is worried about the relationship getting out (which - whole other story in its own and i'm not going there) and he doesn't want your friend telling you anything anymore so she's pushing you away because of the guy.

Haha. Well, I usually shop Agner for her purse selection. I figure I'd try something different. It'll probably be a closet purse, rarely used, but I think she'll enjoy it... And yes, she does love the hell out of some pink. I thought every girl's "dream" was to shop at Tiffany's, purses, go on a Caribbean cruise, and have endless supply of shoes and bras?

She's never had a Coach purse before. I figure I'd change that...

Birth control is fucking up. I think this is about the 10th one I've tried. I think I'm going to ask my doctor for an IUD and if she says no, then I'll find another doctor.

i'm sorry bmel. i've been having some ongoing issues with my BC for the last year - what kind of issues are you having? i find that i spot about halfway through my pill pack sometimes. supppppper annoying. sometimes i almost have a full blown period and then when it's time for my period, i get some spotting and that's it

Mainly spotting, but now I have a full blown period and it isn't suppose to start until next week. And I have a decreased sex drive and weight gain when I started Kariva.

Also, I may lose insurance when I start school and it would be nice to have to worry about how I'm going to pay for birth control.
