Yeah, the Brackman shirts were fairly popular. I think I even still have mine somewhere.

It was full saturation. There were black olives caked to the collar. It was beyond salvageable.

If you search ebay for "brackman shirt" it shows 0 results, but then autocorrects to "black man shirt"

Theta Chi made those Brackman shirts as a fundraiser.

I was in the undergrad chapter at the time and I think I have like 10 of those shirts still.

I still wear mine.

Discussed at work today.

If both CJL and Brown return next season, (yes I said Brown) could we be looking at a preseason top 10 team? I think we'll be around 20.

depends on what happens Firday night. if we go to the elite 8, we'd have to be a preseason top10.

If they both return we will have a lot of hype that's for sure. It will depend on who all returns for all the big teams but we could easily be top 15 or so. I'd say #2 in the ACC behind Duke but if Rivers/Plumlee leave we're #1 preseason in the ACC (im assuming UNC loses Henson, Barnes, and one of either marshall or mcadoo)

One thing is for sure. We never know when we'll have this opportunity to compete again in the Sweet 16. I mean hell it's been 7 years since our last one.

This tournament started with a whisper. A soft whisper at that.

And that was when I kissed her. and then she made my lips hurt.

Look, soak this moment in. Can you taste that? That's the taste of sweetness. It's like a concoction of beauty. Like a salty, sweaty mix of blood and semen. Swish it around in your mouth for a little bit.

What if all the suffering that's come at the expense of the heels' ownage of state for the past 15 years is finally coming around to set up for an epic pendulum swing back in our direction this sunday? The Marshall injury is the first domino to fall...Sure, they've pwned us hard for over a decade and one win doesn't change the balance of power...but would it? A win over them would end their season, kill their championship dreams and be a trump card for years to come. As Ovies and Gold have joked, it would "save the rivalry."

It'd be kind of like banging the mom of that prick at school that always gave you a hard time. That asshole can give you all kinds of shit for whatever reason for years, but when you can come back with "yeah, but I banged your mom," that's pretty much game-set-match.

oh fuck that's right we gotta beat Kansas first.

ESPNU All Access airing on ESPNU & ESPNHD at 6:30 PM EST today! Less than 20m...

The episode is on our Pack, and originally came on at the end of January, but just recently saw it.

Getting hyped for tomorrow's game! Enjoy.

When they stay at a hotel do they each get their own beds? 2 to a room style?

Or is it like in high school when we always had to split beds and pile 4 dudes into a room?

It could get awkward if it's split beds. I imagine you wouldn't want two big guys in the same bed like Howell and Painter, just not enough room it wouldn't work.

But then it seems a little too gay to have a big teddy like Richard bedding with a little softie like Alex Johnson. Just insinuates a little too much I think

Yeah they already have roomates so its the same as usual everynight. two beds to a room two kids to a room and 1 kid to a bed unless TBDV is having nightmares and comes to Johnsons room.

Good article:

http://clutchsportsnetwork.com/learning-to-love-the-wolfpack/

Quote :
"This team gets it’s points, largely, through a combination of quick pace (68 possessions/game), solid offensive rebounding (their overall size and length at play), and efficient and frequent interior shooting which allows them to do something with those boards – the team shot exactly 50 percent on its twos this season, while hoisting up a sizeable 74.1 percent of their shots from inside the arc. These two factors in unison have resulted in 58 percent of the ‘Pack’s points coming via two-point field goals, a figure which ranks them in the top 10 percent of NCAA teams (33rd out of 344). Lorenzo Brown and C.J. Leslie have improved across the board from their freshmen campaigns to anchor a radically improved team on both offense and defense."

^ That's the problem. Don't get me wrong we have a good shot selection against normal teams. I like the way we force the ball inside against most teams.

However, Kansas isn't most teams. Those baskets we are used to scoring inside aren't going to be good looks against Kansas. We absolutely must take perimeter shots.

We've got a guy who can stroke it (Wood), a guy who can shoot (CJW), and two guys who can sometimes make it if they squeeze their buttcheeks real tight (Zobes and AJON).

We need those guys to make their shots. If we try to force it down low to CJL/Howell all game we are going to be in trouble. This is the same mistake Gottfried made the first time we played UNC. He tried to "play to our strengths" and ignored our opponents strengths. We're not good enough to impose our will. We ARE balanced enough to take what the defense gives us.

Let's see what we do. If CJL and Howell can draw contact and get their guys in foul trouble, GREAT. If they can occasionally score or make their free throws even better. But there is no reason to go out there and force the ball inside and then throw our hands up in the air after it doesn't work and say well we tried our best! Can't believe it didn't work, great season!

Don't get me wrong. We're all happy to be here. But that doesn't mean we have to play like it.

I agree about forcing the ball up -- can't get carried away -- but we've got to at least attempt to get Robinson in foul trouble. The key is dragging their 7'0 shotblocker away from the basket when we're isolating CJL/Howell against Robinson. Lest he'll swat our shit from the weakside and we'll look retarded.

If we can get Robinson on the bench with foul trouble, our chances to win are at least 17x greater
