When Bruce is speaking to the taped up officers during the Mayor's speech he used his Batman voice without the microphone in his costume. That magic trick gif is great, now if someone can only get one of Maggie blowing up I'd be set.[Edited on July 26, 2008 at 1:39 AM. Reason : 35]

^I saw it again tonight, I think he uses his normal Bruce voice...
7/26/2008 1:46:42 AM
I looked at the Joker's name tag when he was the nurse, too. It was blank.

7/26/2008 7:11:42 AM
hold on, are you denying inflation?... really?
7/26/2008 8:34:00 AM
inflation's a myth LOL
7/26/2008 8:47:16 AM
rising prices definitely do give new movies an edge there is no way to deny that.
7/26/2008 8:57:05 AM
adjusted for inflation:http://boxofficemojo.com/alltime/adjusted.htm
7/26/2008 9:13:22 AM
the terrible quality of the first hulk is what screwed the new ones numbers. it was so bad that people were scared to see the new one.
7/26/2008 9:58:34 AM
i just dont really care about the Hulk character in general(why i didnt see either of them)
7/26/2008 10:17:17 AM
7/26/2008 10:19:33 AM
there's also more screens now to show moviesand more peopleand wider distribution
7/26/2008 10:47:10 AM
I think I had a hard time with Batman's voice because Christian Bale sounded like he had a lisp with a little spit action every time he talked. I liked Michael Keaton's Batman voice better I think that is why I am so biased.I would have to say these batman movies are the best imo. I am soooooooo sad that Heath Ledger died bc that Joker performance is what I have been waiting for for a long time. There is no way in hell they are going to have someone play that part as good as that. Reminds me of Brandon Lee in the Crow. The movies that followed after he died sucked crazily bc no one played the undead like Brandon Lee. The darkness in these movies are amazing!!! Oh...let me not forget Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent. THAT WAS A VERY SWEET PORTRAYAL!!!!!

Man, people are so sensitive over a "voice." III
7/26/2008 12:23:05 PM
they should re-dub the whole movie pair with Andy Dick's voice as the batman voice
7/26/2008 12:28:44 PM
you don't think a guy running around in a bat costume is over the top?
7/26/2008 1:02:59 PM
i'd be fine with it - fuck i'd be thrilled with it - if it was an intimidating, powerful voice but it just sounds like dude needs a lozenge[Edited on July 26, 2008 at 1:06 PM. Reason : you can't strike fear into the hearts of men when people think you have a cold]
7/26/2008 1:05:46 PM
Haven't seen it, should we go to Imax or Mission Valley? MV=easier, Imax=may be cooler?
7/26/2008 2:04:58 PM
why is mission valley even under considerationcrossroads at the least
7/26/2008 2:08:37 PM
IMAX easySaw it again at the IMAX last night. I don't know if this has been brought up or not but my favorite parts of the movie involve the one violin note that sounds slightly off bring played anytime the Joker is involved in a scene. And the sonar part didn't bother me as much this time around as being related to Alfred's speech about burning down the whole forest.
7/26/2008 2:08:54 PM
^^ they have beer
7/26/2008 2:12:51 PM
Is there a long wait at Imax? it may be a big group, so we'd rather not have to go an hour early just to guarantee seats.[Edited on July 26, 2008 at 2:19 PM. Reason : We're going at 4:50pm]
7/26/2008 2:18:43 PM
you will want to get there at least an hour early unless you want to sit in the front row and have to look up at an 80 degree angle the entire film.
7/26/2008 2:22:25 PM
of the last three 5 movies i've seen, 4 of them have been at crossroads and one of them at mission valleymission valley is much better
7/26/2008 2:33:04 PM
baaaaatmaaaaan is reaaady
7/26/2008 3:28:07 PM
crossroads and mv have comparable soundthe seats at mv are comfierno stupid stadium seating at mvmv has beermv wins by a mile
7/26/2008 3:39:35 PM
stupid stadium seating? does not compute.is it more "scene" to have someones head in front of you when you're watching a movie?[Edited on July 26, 2008 at 3:42 PM. Reason : .]
7/26/2008 3:41:08 PM
I thought Eric Roberts was unforgettable
7/26/2008 3:51:07 PM
i've never had a problem with someone's head in front of me when at MV...it's just the right amount of incline that it's never been an issue. there's also more leg room.plus...has it been mentioned that they have beer?
7/26/2008 3:57:57 PM
*Sigh* Concerning the inflation logic, my point was that it didn't help the supposedly better 2008 Hulk movie on opening weekend--the other numbers above were included simply FYI.The Incredible Hulk (2008):Opening weekend: $55,414,050http://www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=incrediblehulk.htmHulk (2003):Opening weekend: $62,128,420http://www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=hulk.htmThe 2008 Hulk movie didn't have a higher opening weekend than the 2003 Hulk movie--even with five years of inflation adjustment. In addition, movie ticket prices are rising at less than the rate of inflation:

Kevin Conroy (voice of Batman on the cartoons) is the perfect example of Bruce disguising his voice as Batman without it being too distracting. It's a shame they can't just dub his voice over everyone who plays Batman.
7/26/2008 6:37:32 PM
7/26/2008 7:10:18 PM
7/26/2008 7:11:23 PM

7/26/2008 11:17:46 PM
convinced my girl to go see it tonight, I loved it once again.
7/27/2008 12:19:03 AM
Does IMAX still cut a movie if it is longer than 2 hours?
7/27/2008 8:08:32 PM
no, they've upgraded their stuff since then, it's full length
7/27/2008 8:13:09 PM
complaining about Batman's voice is sooooo 2005
7/27/2008 8:17:25 PM
I think another viewing tomorrow sounds good. not Imax but just down the road...........
7/27/2008 9:09:54 PM
7/27/2008 9:16:07 PM
oh man....ShinAntonio is so right about the cartoon voice being the absolute best. I did not think of that one as being the basis for my prejudice. Dub the damn voice.
7/28/2008 12:22:50 AM
