Ended up 7th in line at Best Buy in Garner. Went in there to find out that they had zero. ZERO. Talk about pissed.

I play it alone and it's a blast. The ADD nature of the game makes it addictive. Plus it has tons of bonus material (some good, some worthless) that keeps you coming back.

Got to Target on behind Triangle Town Center at 7:30 and was 24th in line, they had 24. So i got one and it was my first time trying to get one. It is one of the coolest things that i have ever bought.

PS: ZELDA RULES!!!

Yea I've played all the handheld warioware games and I'm looking forward to seeing a console version

I never did try the gamecube one since it was basically a rehash of the gba game

yeah, the n64 had literally two launch titles. i wasn't too impressed with this launch, either. not enough real games, too many mini game compilations. once i'm done with zelda i won't have anything to play until metroid or smash bros. comes out next feb or march.

Yeah, I'm about half through with zelda so I'm taking a break from it. Been playing Madden and Red Steel (which honestly, force yourself to play it for 40 minutes so you can get used to the controllers, its actually kinda fun)

i was the loud guy with shaggy hair playing cards with the two drunk guys in there twenties and one older guy in his thirties. if you showed up 20 minutes earlier the group behind me wouldn't have been there and they all got the last ones

haha, you gotta do your research. people just assume that if CC or target are getting theres that other places will the same time. Garner supposedly is next sunday btw.

rayman, super monkey ball, excite truck, red steel

that's a rough estimate of the order, but those seem to be the most popular 4

^^^I'd definitely shunt Monkey Ball further down the list. Its a huge letdown that chose quantity over quality. I have yet to play it after the first time.

i checked it out and thought it was pretty good. they added some little extra things to take advantage of the controls and those were probably the weakest part. there's a part where you drive, and that was fun, but there was also a part where you fight for a gun with a german, and a part where you have to pull and turn levers, and it just didnt recognize the movements that well. overall, i definitely think its worth a play, but 50 bucks might be a bit much for it. i liked it better than red steel though.

If you don't mind driving down to Sanford, the Wal-Mart there had them during Thxgiving weekend, so it's a safe bet it does now.

Monkey Ball has always been a party game. Single player comes second to that. On the multiplayer level they pretty much failed.

When it comes to the single player game (not "main" since Monkey Ball is all about the multi), I've heard decent things about it. On the downside, it has only half the levels of the previous games. Plus I don't believe there is any real unlockable content. Take all that as you will.

my mom got me all the accessories today in the burlington walmart

wii remote, wii nunchuk, wii point card, and zelda

do all the raleigh walmarts have long lines already? i was thinking about riding by around 7am, but it's not worth waiting in the cold for...again...since i did it for the 360 and my plasma

when mi madre got my accessories in burlington around 4pm...she said that a line of 10 people had already formed. i'm sure it's gonna be tough to get one in the morning.

walmart glenwood got 6, tickets have been given out, people are camping.
walmart kildaire gets them tonight, no word about tickets or quantity, open at 8, lots of people already waiting.

there's really no use in getting up to go imo...unless you want to go camp now, which i surely don't.

there are two extra worlds once you beat the first eight

so i think there are 100 vs about ~150 levels in this game

i don't know why i'm defending it so much because i'm not a huge fan of the series or anything.. i guess i just like the fact that it's two games in one (as long as you like the single player side of it.. which is definitely growing on me)

I originally bought it for the mini games and was regretting my decision because those alone are not worth 50 bucks... but after getting into the single player side of it, and knowing that there are at least a few of the mini games i'll be playing again it seemed pretty good to me
