Si. They keep the room temp pretty high so you sweat your ass off. Or so I'm told. I like regular yoga...centering and all that. I get angry when I sweat due to room temperature (versus physical activity) so I think that would mess up the whole becoming one with my body and blocking out the world part that I so enjoy with yoga.

If imma sweat, imma Zumba!

Elise, I would never take a hot yoga class with you. Even if you paid for it and I lived next door to the gym.

scored for $60 at the coach outlet today

I got a beautiful embossed leather laptop bag for the same price at the wilson leather outlet today but it is like 1/2" too narrow so seriously bummed. at least I saw another one there for $100 that know will work. Maybe I should bring my laptop to make sure though!

I don't usually buy stuff from Payless but they are doing "$10 off $25 Shoesource Purchase + FREE Shipping" so I got some really cute tan tights and these shoes ($17 for both) which are supposed to be super comfy. I like 'em.

The code is: 68537 if interested.

Love that Coach bag btw!!

I bought the hot yoga too

so long as you have the following, I'm told (a bunch of my friends bought it the last time it was on livingsocial) you'll live:

yoga mat
beach towel
smaller towel for wiping sweat
water bottle

hot yoga is great. but hydrating properly the 24 hours leading up to your class is crucial. i cannot stress that enough. you'll get dizzy and feel shitty.

aim to just stay in the room through your first class, don't feel like you have to do every position. they take some time to work up to.

i could do the 7-8 p.m. hot yoga classes...

or possibly the 6:15-7 a.m. classes...

it's a pretty far distance from my house but for $1 a class it may be worth it...

i need to do something other than walking 3-5 miles a day

piddlebug - thank you for recommending vestique!!!!!!

I got this dress:

it's a little shorter than I would like though. I wanted to wear these gorgeous heels I have, but I think I'm going to go for a pair of gold flats. I'll put it on and post pics so I can get DivaBaby19's opinion.

the second is close to like a professional look but the distribution is all random lookin. It looks like someone came up with something cool and then this girl tried it for the first time and they took a picture of it.

Anyone ever have your body suddenly start responding differently to BC after 2 or 3 years? First I was on a pill I liked and all of a sudden I had hormonal issues. Then I was on the ring and all of a sudden my cramps came back with a vengeance. Now I have had an IUD for 2.5 years and my periods have decided to come back when I had none for 2+ years after I got it. I know your body is constantly changing but I think it's weird that every type of BC I have tried has odd things happen after a few years.

Usually I can only be on a certain type of bc for a year before my body starts freaking out. I think this bc is making my sex drive disappear. I guess I should try another kind. Sigh

Yeah, when I was on the ring for about two years, my acne and cramps got worse. So I switched to Yaz, which I really like, so I hope it isn't a continuing theme. Before the ring, I had been on orthotricylen for years and years without incident though

Has your period come back more than two months in a row? I'm on my second iud and stopped having a period with each, but it seems like one every year or so I'll experience a light to normal period. I don't recall it happening more than one cycle, but it's possible it has gone on for two. I don't really keep track of my bleeding anymore because it is such a rarity.
