Are they not?
11/9/2016 12:03:07 AM
They keep saying Hillary's path to victory is getting natrower, but not a single state that has been officially called has been a surprise. Her path is the exact same as it was 6 hours ago. I'm not going to panic until Wisonsin or Michigan gets officially called.
11/9/2016 12:03:43 AM
^lol
11/9/2016 12:05:16 AM
Yeah, it's over. Wisconsin is gone and PA may go too. Look, you can blame Hillary all you want, but she performed or overperformed in all areas Democrats usually win. Rural areas turned out huge for Trump, which is something no one outside of Trump's campaign expected. The polls were wrong.
11/9/2016 12:07:08 AM
My prediction map is 100% accurate so far and I had her getting to 279. I'm not confident about it but I haven't crossed the line into pessimism yet.

http://www.ksat.com/live/livestream-hillary-clinton-campaign-headquartersLive stream of Clinton HQ, looks like a funeral
11/9/2016 12:08:39 AM
I'm in disbelief.
11/9/2016 12:08:42 AM
I think it was pretty evident that in the suburbs, the margins weren't nearly in Hillary's favor as they were with Obama.
11/9/2016 12:09:14 AM
I said back months ago running on a platform of, "I am not the other guy" is a hard way to win. Didn't work for Romney, didn't work for Kerry, probably isn't going to work for Clinton.
11/9/2016 12:14:17 AM
BUT SHES A WOMAN!
11/9/2016 12:15:58 AM
^^^^^^^Nah, Clinton way underperformed. Case in point, Wayne County in Michigan. She was just an awful candidate who lost to an even worse candidate.[Edited on November 9, 2016 at 12:20 AM. Reason : Shrike]
11/9/2016 12:19:58 AM
If Trump pulls this off, he's going to have a Republican Senate, a Republican House, and a Supreme Court Justice spot awaiting his nomination. It will be interesting to see if we continue to have gridlock in DC once the dust settles.
11/9/2016 12:22:02 AM
We're all about to feel the burn
11/9/2016 12:23:26 AM
Democrats will take a page from republicans and filibuster everything. Our country becomes even more dysfunctional..
11/9/2016 12:24:06 AM
I wonder which congressmen will jostle to try and repeal Obamacare first so they can try to take credit for it.
11/9/2016 12:24:21 AM
Nevada to Clinton
11/9/2016 12:25:02 AM
hey neolibs? What do you plan to do next? double down? leave?
11/9/2016 12:26:18 AM
Cooper ahead by 2400 votes holy shit
11/9/2016 12:30:58 AM
how funny if nc goes trump and democrat governor.[Edited on November 9, 2016 at 12:31 AM. Reason : goes to show how awful hillary is]
11/9/2016 12:31:35 AM
And/or how awful mccrory is
11/9/2016 12:33:02 AM
I'm really surprised it went this way. I really thought the stranglehold that Hillary had on all media was going cement victory for her. Everywhere I looked besides obvious conservative outlets were championing Hillary hard. Do you think the negative attack ads she ran constantly backfired?
11/9/2016 12:34:25 AM
NC went red for president and blue for governor for years and years until McRory (except for going Obama in 2008)[Edited on November 9, 2016 at 12:36 AM. Reason : -]
11/9/2016 12:34:43 AM
america is not as dumb as we thought
11/9/2016 12:35:50 AM
But the democratic party was dumber. How electable is Bernie looking now, assholes.
11/9/2016 12:37:06 AM
Bernie lost by 4 million votes. You want to blame the DNC, fine, but also blame the voters who overwhelmingly selected Clinton and Bernie himself who refused to court black voters in southern states.[Edited on November 9, 2016 at 12:38 AM. Reason : .]
11/9/2016 12:38:29 AM
DNC voters. you didn't let independents vote in many primaries and you had superdelegates herding their constituents to vote for hillary before it even started.
11/9/2016 12:43:22 AM
Bernie would have been called a socialist, he wouldn't have denied it, and he would have lost by a larger margin than Clinton.
11/9/2016 12:43:47 AM
11/9/2016 12:44:32 AM
^^ disagree. If trump could talk past a Muslim ban, and saying a nation under one god, and suing reporters, supporting torture, and attacking innocents in war, then Bernie could have explained socialism.[Edited on November 9, 2016 at 12:45 AM. Reason : ]
11/9/2016 12:45:46 AM
All that support Hillary had from southern African American voters before Bernie's message really caught on did her soooooo much good now, didn't it.
11/9/2016 12:52:06 AM
^Yeah Bernie would not be losing Michigan/Wisconsin/Iowa like this. Seriously cost the election.
11/9/2016 12:53:17 AM
i told you guys about that weak shit. bernie owned the rust belt.
11/9/2016 12:54:14 AM
^^^Maybe not, but that's how primaries work. It's not the DNC's fault that Bernie ran a shitty campaign. Also, while we don't know enough about the electorate that produced these results, I find it hard to believe that these hordes of non-college educated white voters from rural areas would have suddenly switched from Trump to Bernie.[Edited on November 9, 2016 at 12:54 AM. Reason : .]
11/9/2016 12:54:36 AM
they were always for bernie though. this was well documented.
11/9/2016 12:55:34 AM
Also, I find it hilarious that people are making hypothetical statements based on polling from 6 months ago, when polling from literally 2 days ago turned out to be completely wrong.
11/9/2016 12:57:39 AM
Bernie would have been competitive against the "angry" vote. Hillary is part of what maeks them angry. But a lot of them are independents who didn't get to vote.
11/9/2016 12:58:49 AM
I guess you've learned a tough lesson that polls aren't everything.
11/9/2016 12:59:43 AM
And TWW laughed at me when I said the polling was crap.
11/9/2016 1:00:55 AM
Pennsylvania...wow. Surprised by that.
11/9/2016 1:10:55 AM
TMW you realize there are no SUPERELECTORAL VOTES
11/9/2016 1:19:38 AM
I'm waiting for CNN to announce the close numbers were just to throw viewers off and keep them watching just to turn around announce Clinton won for the highest ratings in history.
11/9/2016 1:26:45 AM
in the distant future, toursits will think we named a building in every city after trump...
11/9/2016 1:31:28 AM
11/9/2016 1:41:32 AM
One thing I noticed is that trump live streamed all his rallies where I don't recall ever seeing a Hillary rally streamed by the campaign. Also saw almost no trump or Hillary bumper stickers, probably see more Bernie stickers than anything.
11/9/2016 1:50:39 AM
what if trump actually does well. i have a feeling democrats will become the new obstructionists and cnn will be the new foxnews.
11/9/2016 1:57:08 AM
LOL @ the Bernie Bros saying I told ya so. Trump would've waxed his ass too.Everything we ever thought we knew about elections and polling was wrong.
11/9/2016 1:57:15 AM
I saw Trump signs and MAGA hats everywhere I went in PA, and they were everywhere even in MD. I only saw about 5 Hillary campaign signs in someone's yard this entire campaign, and all of those were in DC.But like you, I don't remember any bumper stickers other than for Bernie.
