1/4/2012 4:23:00 PM
Heavy wind + slick pitch = crazy bounce
1/4/2012 4:24:28 PM
Good thing they have a lucky goal because they're playing like dogshit. 1-1.
1/4/2012 4:26:27 PM
Yeah, it's pretty bad. They've had some tough injuries though. Ever since Osman went off it's been all Bolton.
1/4/2012 4:27:37 PM
Howard or Carroll... Better finisher?
1/4/2012 4:36:57 PM

1/4/2012 5:29:31 PM
After all this shitty play, United are only 3 points behind City, not bad! But we've undoubtedly got the tougher schedule till May...

Just finished the 92-93 season. Hard to believe that was Man U's first in 26 years. Giggs looks crazy young winning his 2nd PFA YPOTY award in a row.Top of the Table for the season:1. Man U2. Aston Villa3. Norwich (ugly, ugly kits but led for a good part of the season)4. Blackburn5. QPRI also had no idea Vinnie Jones played soccer ]
1/4/2012 7:37:40 PM
^Steve Bruce won it for us with two late goals against Wimbledon(I think?)You have the season review?
1/4/2012 7:38:51 PM
Yeah, some guy on reddit uploaded every year of 'The Premiership Years' from 92' - 11'. It's a lot of material to watch but it is a nice accompaniment to Football Manager.

^Classy of Howard not to overcelebrate. He also went over to the opposition keeper after the match to sort of console him.
1/5/2012 6:28:36 PM
Bye Rooney?
1/6/2012 4:31:42 PM
Post a link man
1/6/2012 5:10:36 PM
'93-'94 over. Man U wins again. It's all about Cantona and his ugly ass.Question for you soccer peeps: When can you take a free kick inside the penalty box without it being a penalty kick? They have several replays of people trying to chip over walls only a few yards out and I have never seen it done in a game or FIFA/FM.
1/6/2012 5:27:42 PM
Indirect foul. Something like a defender back pass to their keeper and the keeper picks it up. That would be an indirect FK from wherever the keeper touched it.
1/6/2012 5:37:57 PM
^^ Theyre pretty rare though, I remember Fabio Aurelio scored one (on United...maybe?) about 2 years ago inside the box.
1/6/2012 6:55:14 PM
I remember seeing old video of defenders passing it back to keepers and the keepers picked it up and play continued. So maybe the rule changed around that time and people forgot?
1/6/2012 9:00:24 PM
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Back-pass_ruleYep. '92.I think it rarely comes into play because it's really the keeper who decides to touch the ball in the end. If the keeper's going to touch the ball, there's probably not going to be any doubt of whether it was a back-pass or not. These days it seems keepers work on their footwork as much as they do their saves. Also, there's the caveat that the pass has to be deliberately initiated with the foot, which means headers, chested balls, kicks from the knee or shin, deflections, etc don't constitute a back-pass.

nice goal from RooneyThis game is going to be really goodnevermind bullshit Kompany red card[Edited on January 8, 2012 at 8:14 AM. Reason : bullshit]
1/8/2012 8:12:41 AM
Welbeck makes it 2-0 with a sweet volley. City's defensive effort has been terrible
1/8/2012 8:33:57 AM
Nice ref!
1/8/2012 8:41:05 AM
lol Citehalso, Scholes back!!![Edited on January 8, 2012 at 9:13 AM. Reason : HE RETURNS]
1/8/2012 9:12:12 AM
Lololol Welcome back Scholes!
1/8/2012 9:27:49 AM
Lindegaard looked like he was about to shit his pants in the final five minutes, well make that the entire game. Great game to watch from a neutral observer. ]
1/8/2012 9:54:10 AM
Apparently he is not here to 'pick his nose'...
1/8/2012 9:54:56 AM
haha he really didGotta give City credit for not folding up and getting trounced because it looked like it could be 6-0 to United early on
1/8/2012 9:56:02 AM
Hey Downing, you mad?And...goddamnit Wigan. When will you please just go away?]
1/8/2012 10:13:13 AM
And the Kompany red card was a perfect decision from the ref!Consider thishttp://www.dailymotion.com/video/xc76yw_nani-red-card-vs-aston-villa-10-feb_sport
1/8/2012 10:51:20 AM
Considered.Kompany red was still bullshit.
1/8/2012 10:59:05 AM
Credit to Nani too for staying on his feet!
1/8/2012 11:02:59 AM
Congrats to City, the MORAL winners of the game Kompany's twitter:The fans, the players and every single person involved with Man City FC were incredible today. Definitely the moral winners of this game.

1/8/2012 2:11:47 PM
Nani is one of the worse offenders; I LOL'd when I saw him on there. I feel like I see him react like he took a bullet to the dome multiple times a game and he never slows down after taking such shots.
1/8/2012 2:40:55 PM
Chris Foy. Worst referee or worst referee?
1/8/2012 3:20:06 PM
'94-'95 Blackburn win the league on the last day. Couldn't understand a word of what Dalglish was saying the whole time. Redknapp had some terrible hair at West Ham.Oh, and Cantona with a kung-fu kick on a Palace fan. He must have said something horrible to him. Probably something about the unibrow.
