smash bros brawl will use the classic (or old school gamecube) controller. I bought a wavebird the same day as the Wii for this reason.

I'm getting it now. I was thinking that it was bandwidth issues but just wanted to see if it was just me
12/1/2006 2:40:09 PM
everytime i go to the mii parade or plaza... my mii is the only character thereI thought other people's mii's would randomly show up and stuff? how does this happen?
12/2/2006 10:33:03 AM
i think everybody has to go to their mii plaza and say they want their mii to travel and want to allow traveling mii's on their wii. if all that is done, then i dont know why you wouldnt get some others poppin up in yours. so far, the only person i have in mine besides my own mii is ShinAntonio's.
12/2/2006 11:25:57 AM
You can actually send your Mii to others.
12/2/2006 11:44:33 AM
yea i think i sent you mine after i saw yours. the description of the mii plaza makes it sound like it should do the mii sharing automatically though so long as you have your settings to allow it.

fyi: Target will have some Wiis tommorrow morning. I would guess Walmart and BB and CC might too. Also, Target on Lynn has about 5 classic controllers out if you want one.
12/2/2006 1:17:51 PM
how the hell do you find out what your friend code is, and how do you search for others?
12/2/2006 1:32:48 PM
that's the genius of it.. you can't
12/2/2006 2:15:47 PM
you view your friend code via the systemask your friends for theirs and add them
12/2/2006 3:35:20 PM
To see your system code: Go the Wii Message Board and then go to the Address Book. I believe the code is in there.BTW, if anyone wants a cheap multiplayer game, Bomberman '93 on the VC supports five players.
12/2/2006 4:02:06 PM
You can also send emails to your wii

i read they will have adapters for the NES and SNES controllers early next year that plug in to the same ports as the game cube controllers. can anybody confirm this? or am I the only one who even cares? I want the old skool controller for punch out when it comes out... even if it is the lame Mr. Dream version.

12/3/2006 2:56:44 AM

12/3/2006 3:10:46 AM

12/3/2006 8:25:35 AM
12/3/2006 9:12:37 AM
^ditto. although I've hardly played it thanks to Zelda.
12/3/2006 9:56:07 AM
What the fuck was that video about?
12/3/2006 10:49:02 AM
Are you familiar with the Wario Ware games?
12/3/2006 11:10:28 AM
No, but I guess that explains it. It looked to me like a video of a cashier taunting kids.
12/3/2006 11:34:23 AM
How many different mini-games are in it? It can't be that many, especially since it repeated in a 4 minute video.
12/3/2006 12:15:39 PM
Is anyone else having trouble connecting to the virtual store? I was able to connect over Thanksgiving Break at my dad's house but it is giving me problems here back at school. Wiiconnect24 seems to be okay and the "test connection" doesn't seem to be giving any problems.
12/3/2006 1:11:39 PM
Just canceled the backordered 3rd game from the TRU.com deal a couple of weeks back...wound up with 2 games (TC and SMB) for $55 shipped
12/3/2006 2:07:26 PM
I went to Target this morning and stood in line for about 90 minutes. I was 14th in line when I got there at 630 and by 8 the line had grown to about 50. The manager came out right before they opened saying they had received 42 consoles. Ive been playing the wii ever since i got home!!!
12/3/2006 2:18:29 PM
I don't have wifi so I haven't connected to the internets yet, but when are we supposed to get Opera?
12/3/2006 2:19:50 PM
So kimslackey and I now have a Wii.I'm watching it perform system updates right now. Really easy to get the thing working and connected to the internets too.Looks like it'll be a whole lot of fun, for sure.[Edited on December 3, 2006 at 2:27 PM. Reason : I should mention we played it a bit before I decided to update it...]

3rd week in a row and people are still lining up for Wiis! Awesome! And ^^ that's pretty sweet for an amateur commercial.
12/3/2006 4:36:11 PM
if anybody runs into a system lying around...buy it and i'll give you $20 extra...i keep missing out on finding a wii and my mom wants to give me one for christmas...lol...
12/3/2006 4:42:52 PM
i went to mii parade and there are a bunch of random miis marching across my screen...who do they belong to? also, i turned on "travel and mingle" so does that mean my mii will go on other people's console?then there is a feature where i could "send my mii" and i sent it to a couple people on here..what is the difference between all these things? i'm confused
12/3/2006 7:04:48 PM
That laughing cashier is mesmerizing. I must have that game.

12/3/2006 10:50:28 PM
the idea of a collection of very quick mini-games sounds like it'd get old pretty fast...sounds like it could be fun with a group of people, but just sittin around playin somethin like that by yourself, i just dont know[Edited on December 3, 2006 at 11:27 PM. Reason : .]
12/3/2006 11:27:21 PM
Yeah, warioware would be a party game.Invite random people over and play stupid games. Makes life fun.
